In our first meeting pre-COVID and again when we had check-ins, she was super helpful in sharing what kinds of flowers might be available in each time of year, which ones might last best across a whole wedding day, and sharing all the options for our floral vision. She was also quite patient as a I decided what my look would be and when I considered changing it entirely after our wedding was postponed - I ultimately stuck with our original look, which I’m very happy about. Our check-in meeting 6 weeks before the wedding, Jennifer put together a beautiful centerpiece. She apologized that some of the flowers weren’t quite the ones that we’d have or that she’d hoped to have for that meeting, but that’s completely understandable - not only can supply differ with 6 weeks difference normally, but the flower market during COVID was quite different and made it harder to source things! Jennifer also suggested some lovely votives and table number holders in that meeting that came together nicely with the linen samples our wedding planner brought - they both had a great eye for how to pair those nicely with florals. In the end, Jennifer and her team delivered just beautiful flowers with some additions I requested (adding bouquet ribbons and a few more corsages/boutonnieres). My bouquet ended up being a little different from the model we’d based it on, which I expected (we were going to incorporate a few different colors and size it down slightly since I’m petite), but it was lovelier than I could have imagined! She also made sure to include panda anemones, which was my one specific request - otherwise, I left the flowers to her expertise, which was a good call since she has a great eye. One of our guests said that our florals were the loveliest she’d ever seen at a wedding, and I agree with her! I totally recommend Copper Penny - they’re wonderful florists with a great eye who are very straightforward, communicative, and accommodating. Thank you Jennifer & Amy!

s. After talking over the phone with Jennifer I knew they were going to be the perfect florist. I had some inspo pics and a few must have flowers for the bouquet to honor my father who had passed. Jennifer encouraged to add the inspo pics into a shared pinterest board, and after describing the vision I was thinking, Jennifer knew what to do and gave the best advice and ideas. She worked with the venue before and knew the room and I felt like I didn’t have to worry because she was going to make the wedding exquisite with her floral art! The pandemic hit and Jennifer was absolutely amazing through all of it. We were so fortunate to have Copper Penny Flowers work with us to postpone our wedding and keep the vision of our dream wedding alive. Jennifer worked with me to give ideas and make everything perfect and still be in budget! They had great vases to rent that can go with any wedding vibe. We went to view the table arrangements before the 2021 wedding date and it was beyond what I could have imagined. I had full confidence in everything Copper Penny Flowers can do the day of. We still had to decide on a few things and I found myself saying “surprise me.” I knew it would be perfect whatever they do. When the wedding day arrived and Jennifer and Amy passed off the bouquet and boutonnieres I was so in love! They listened to every detail I ever mentioned and made it so special and meaningful. Not to mention they use magnets for the boutonnieres so the guys don’t get pricked! The florals on the Chuppah for the ceremony were breathtaking. They incorporated the flowers to honor my father on the Chuppah and made me and my family feel like he was there with us through the memory those flowers have associated with him. key flowers weren't yet available, but rather than FYI'ing us about the issue, we arrived to see an arrangement with drastically different flowers and style than what we'd discussed and seen in the proposal. It was a bummer since my parents had made a special trip and we were so excited to see the flowers. We considered an available Plan B, but ultimately we were able to have a really productive and clear communication with Amy and Jennifer over email and at a second visit to the shop, and the flowers that were delivered on our wedding day were exactly what we wanted. The bridal bouquet did not hold up well, but the remainder of the flowers were used for the post-wedding Sunday brunch and looked gorgeous the next day. They were very flexible in allowing us to purchase our own centerpieces and ceremony arrangement vessels.

long aisle. I also knew I wanted sunflowers as the main flower and a bright colorful bouquet. Past that, I put it in Jenn's hands. To say she and her staff outdid herself is an understatement. She asked me if it was ok to experiment with an idea she wanted to try out. SHE LINED THE AISLE WITH SUNFLOWERS THAT SHE INDIVIDUALLY PLANTED HOURS BEFORE. And then... she lined that with yellow petals. It was INCREDIBLE. I had never seen anything like it and we got so many compliments. My bridal bouquet was out of a magazine, just like the rest of Jenn's work. She came up with all the designs for everything, all the colors and coordinated it all so perfectly together. It was the perfect pop of color and it enhanced the natural landscape without overdoing it. Throughout the whole process they were consistently warm and gracious with us. We had chosen CPF for the wedding because we had been impressed with the gorgeous floral arrangements that had done for other weddings and events we had attended. January wedding with a few pictures of what I was trying to create. They were able to recreate exactly what I had envisioned and even in only few weeks. That being said, if my wedding wasn’t a winter wedding I don’t think I would have had enough time, so make sure to go at least 6 mo in advance. However, after my first meeting with Jennifer, she provided me with an extremely detailed, budget conscious proposal of EXACTLY the look I was going for, and I knew I could relax. Throughout the year of planning, I spent time with Jennifer reviewing Pinterest photos on a shared board, discussing details like color schemes (blush vs. peach vs. light peachy blush), flower types, centerpieces, candles, garland stairway display, bouquets, timelines, etc., and her attention to detail and depth of knowledge continued to make me feel comfortable leaving such an important aspect of the wedding in her hands. There were many moving pieces on the day of the wedding, from ceremony set up, deconstruction, cocktail hour, and reception, and Jennifer made sure it all went smoothly. I received so many complements on the flowers and overall ambiance that Copper Penny created. Everything was breathtaking, lush, and beyond my dreams.
