We were very happy with our flowers on our wedding day and with our overall experience with Jennifer and her team. We were married in May 2022 at the Connors Center on an unseasonably hot day, where we had to adjust to a ‘heat plan’. The Copper Penny team did not miss a beat in terms of the location change and helping organize the placement of all the flowers. I especially loved that she listened to my request for ‘smaller’ bridal bouquet, it was the perfect size and I loved it. My husband loved his boutonnière, and we were delighted to enjoy many of the flowers for a week or more following our wedding. We also loved that she had other small rentals that we could take advantage of – votive holders, table numbers and the like. Easy ways to round out your wedding décor without having to go to yet another vendor or store. d wanted someone with not only the technical skills, but the artistic vision and creativity to pull off the vibrant floral looks which are a hallmark of South Asian weddings. Jennifer Eaton and her team at Copper Penny not only met our expectations, they blew them out of the water! From the very first meeting, we noticed Jennifer’s enthusiasm for our desired floral vision. It was her willingness to find the particular flowers we needed (marigolds) that sealed the deal, particularly because so many florists in the area had told us they could not procure those flowers. From there, the entire Copper Penny team remained responsive to our questions, worked with us when our wedding was postponed due to COVID and helped us choose exactly what we wanted for our floral selection. The process was very organized, and I especially appreciated the use of a Pinterest board. We weren’t always sure what we wanted but Copper Penny used their expertise to help us make the right choices. It was also nice to be able to use their rentals, such as arbors, centerpieces and more. Copper Penny even made traditional South Asian floral items for us, such as flower necklaces and hair flowers - all of which were stunning. Finally, when the big day came, the team arrived promptly, and set up/distributed everything with the utmost professionalism. Most importantly, the floral arrangements were absolutely stunning. We were taken aback by the beauty of the designs and the quality of the flowers used. We received so many compliments from our family, wedding party and guests. Several people even remarked that they do not usually notice the flowers at weddings, but shared that they were particularly amazed by our floral arrangements. The flowers held up so well that we even used them at our next-day wedding brunch and they still looked brand new. I loved how closely they worked with me and my family, and how much they listened to my opinions and truly made my visions for what my wedding would look like, come true! The flowers where AMAZING to say the least and everyone after the wedding commented not only on how beautiful the wedding was, but how much they truly enjoyed the flowers! It was definitely a focal point of our wedding! We also had enough flowers at the end of our wedding to gift friends and family, and which they too enjoyed for a couple of weeks after the wedding. I loved my flowers so much, that I even preserved what I could so I could have them as a memory for years to come.
