I moved to the area from Austin, TX November of 2019 and have combined my love for beauty with my love for travel, so we are happy to come to you anywhere in the Northern Sierras! We strive to provide a timely response, supurb custom service and years of experience to help you to feel like your best self on your big day! I found myself in a bind without a makeup artist in Mammoth Lakes, but I was incredibly fortunate to connect with Copper Salon and Spa in Reno. From the start, Shelly was a breeze to communicate with and quickly put me in touch with Deanna for both hair and makeup. Deanna is an absolute delight—her vibrant energy and fun-loving spirit shined through from our very first conversation. She made everything feel easy and enjoyable, and she was incredibly accommodating, even with my travel needs for the trials.
Deanna was willing to travel all the way to Mammoth Lakes, which was an absolute lifesaver. During the trial, Deanna really listened to what I wanted, particularly my request for a natural look. Since I don’t usually wear makeup, I was nervous, but Deanna’s infectious energy put me at ease, and her expertise was evident. She crafted a stunning glam look for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law while keeping things light and natural for my mom and me.
On the wedding day, I became anxious, but Deanna’s fun and positive energy was exactly what I needed. She was incredibly kind and reassuring, making sure everything was exactly how I envisioned and adjusting anything without making me feel like a burden. In the midst of all the wedding day chaos, Deanna’s joyful presence kept everyone in high spirits, making sure we all felt beautiful and had a great time.
And my hair? It was the most beautiful it has ever been—exactly what I wanted and more. Seeing my mom’s hair brought me to tears because it was everything she hoped for as well. Everyone was thrilled with their looks, and it’s all thanks to Deanna. Her energy, talent, and fun-loving nature truly made the day special. I cannot recommend her enough!

Deanna was so amazing to work with! I’m so grateful she was there on my wedding day. My girls looked amazing, my momma looked beautiful and I felt amazing! She was such an amazing human and genuinely so lovely to be around. She helped calm my nerves while also keeping my ADHD brain on track for the morning. She was patient and kind and did an amazing job. Copper Salon is amazing and right in the middle of Midtown. It’s a beautiful little spot and I highly recommended going down and seeing them/booking them for your wedding!

Shelly was the hair/makeup artist for my wedding in June Lake, CA this summer and she was amazing!! I was having a hard time finding a wedding hair/makeup artist in the June Lake area so I sent an inquiry to Copper Salon & Spa in Reno and I am so happy that I did. Shelly responded quickly and I was so grateful that she was able to fit us into her scedule! She was always super easy to comminicate with and my whole bridal party was really happy with how their hair and makeup turned out! She is so talented and was super kind, I highly recommend Copper Salon & Spa!

I cannot recommend Shelly and her team enough!! We had 9 ladies getting hair and makeup done on wedding morning, and we even finished ahead of schedule! Everyone asked for different hair styles and makeup looks, and each of them looked absolutely stunning! It’s so easy for bridesmaids to look cakey and too made up, but all my girls looked like stunning, elevated versions of themselves. They could not stop raving about their hair and makeup, and how much fun they had getting ready!! I made a few tweaks to my hair and makeup after my trial, and Shelly and Selena made me feel so listen to, and absolutely nailed my final look! I will recommend Copper to everyone I know in hopes of hanging out with the team again! Thank you thank you!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about these ladies and the work the do!! Shelly & Kayla were so amazing and the hair and makeup was on point! I had a trial run with Shelly for my hair and makeup. Makeup Shelly nailed it the first time and it was stunning! I wasn't 100% in love with my hair. We rebooked another session for me to come in and my hair turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it! Both ladies were super easy to talk to, anything you did or didn't like they too into account and we're super accommodating! These ladies made my day extra special and I will forever be grateful for that! High Recommend!!!

Shelly, Megan, and Hayley did the hair and makeup for my wedding - two bridesmaids, myself, and my mom. Honestly, this team is FANTASTIC! Shelly was so responsive, and incredibly professional - she's got a great presence and was wonderful to have in the house the morning of the wedding.
Each stylist made the gals feel incredible, everyone had the look they wanted AND for an eight hour day we still looked great into the evening.
If you are looking to get married in the Reno/Tahoe area, do yourself and your whole bridal party a favor and book them in :)

Shelly and Linda were absolutely amazing! They travelled to Placerville, CA for hair and makeup services for my LARGE bridal party! They worked so hard all day with such positive attitudes. Not to mention, they did beautiful work! My bridesmaids and family members all loved their hair and makeup. The lashes Copper uses are VERY comfortable and lightweight. My makeup and hair stayed put all night, and Shelly helped place an anchor in my hair for my veil. I cannot recommend Copper Bridal enough!

Shelly was such an integral part of my wedding day. I worked with her a year prior for my engagement photo shoot too! My moms and sisters all loved working with her and her team. I have a bit of a unique review for the salon! I originally booked Copper for just hair services. I had a trial with Jenni and she was INCREDIBLE! I told her how nervous I was to have my hair touched and she was so gentle and incredibly professional. She not only does a killer job but also is so easy to talk to.
For the interesting part, a huge snow storm hit our venue the day before our wedding and my makeup artist was traveling from afar and didn’t think she could make the drive. Copper saved the day and sent two makeup artist last minute! #lifesavers
Thank you to Jenni for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and to the three other stylist for helping us in a crazy, hectic, last-minute change! I highly recommend using Copper for your wedding services! They will get to you even in harsh weather conditions!

Shelly is the best! She did my bridal hair and makeup and my mom and bridal party's hair. She also brought another makeup artist Elena Little, to do my mom and the other girls so we could be ready in time for my morning ceremony. They were quick enough that we didn't feel rushed at any point and they had us all looking gorgeous!

Not only did she pull off my high maintenance look PERFECTLY, she added so much positivity and genuineness to our getting ready time on my wedding day. Jenni came over to our wedding venue and she was incredible! She managed to create just the hair and makeup I was envisioning despite not having a consultation beforehand. I wanted a very relaxed up-do and natural makeup.
She was also very personable and calm and I could really enjoy the moment.

Shelly is the best! One of the first things people notice when they see my photos is my hair. It was perfect and beyond what I imagined. My mom, sisters, and maid of honor also looked stunning.
I met with Shelly for my trail and immediately asked her to do hair on a regular basis. My hair is super healthy and the color looked amazing on my wedding day. If you want your hair and makeup to exceed your expectations Shelly is your gal!

Shelly was amazing. She did a great job on my hair and make up trial and an even better job on my special day. I looked and felt like a princess. My man was blown away at our first looks.
I have naturally curly hair and she did an amazing job working with what God gave gave me. I had a natural look that complimented my features; not too much; accentuated my natural features.

Soooo good! Michelle did an amazing job for me, my mother, and my maid of honor! I felt so beautiful for my special day! I’m a big girl and she did a great job compensating for my sweat. This may sound odd, but I was really worried about it. She is also the nicest lady. My mother wore a tiara, which didn’t bother me. Michelle did mention that she could talk her out of it if I wanted. I thought that was amazing! Overall the best experience! Thank you so much!
