During the Trial Appointment, Nikki was great at walking me through the different options and what would work best for me, my dress, and the type of event we were having. I also booked her for waxing in the weeks leading up to my big day (which she did flawlessly!). I ended up arriving about 15 min late on the morning of the wedding because the roads were so bad, but Nikki was there, set up, ready to go immediately. She has a great energy about her: calm and collected, but upbeat. I had a hair comb I really wanted to use that I didn't have during my trial appointment and wasn't sure how it would work. Nikki easily incorporated it, as if I had planned to include it all along. Me, my mom, my sister, and sister-in-law looked stunning, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. She really went above and beyond

Nikki also was willing to travel to the site I was getting ready at, which was huge on an already hectic day. Nikki worked wonderfully with her partner who did my makeup. Nikki was great to work with and I would not hesitate to use her again!

y pay attention to logistics before booking a venue, lol. Anyway! Nikki made the entire beauty side of things fun and easy. She's laid back and fun to talk to, which is especially great if you're a stressed bride. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help make them look their best on their big day! Nikki was awesome enough to meet with me in person when I was up 6 months before my wedding to do some planning and was happy to work with my limited schedule. Scheduling a trial run was also easy and fun! I was able to lean on her for connections to makeup, so was able to book a trial with both her and her makeup gal, Sam, at the same time. Again, Nikki was awesome with my limited availability given I was in town for only a certain amount of time leading up to my wedding, and we were able to fit in a trial about 2 weeks before my wedding. One of the biggest issues I ran into while trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup was finding someone who'd be willing to travel over an hour and a half for just me. I wasn't forcing hair and makeup on my bridesmaids nor did we have the budget for me to cover it for them as a gift. However, Nikki (and Sam) was happy to travel out for just me, something I can't express enough thanks for. What became even more exciting is that eventually, I was able to secure 3 more hair-dos for her with my mom, a bridesmaid, and the mother of the groom. Nikki did an amazing job with all 4 of us on the big day!! I'm a tomboy who can't do much with her own hair, but Nikki helped me feel gorgeous for my wedding. She was even very patient with me as we emailed back and forth on ideas leading up to the day of. In the end, I absolutely loved my updo that she did! The other ladies all absolutely loved their hair as well! So much that they didn't dare mess with their hair the next day, lol. Both moms had updos done to their requested styles. My bridesmaid has extensions that she wears and Nikki was able to work with them and created a stunning side-swept hairdo. All in all, Nikki was fantastic! I even ended up booking an appointment with her for the Monday after my wedding to get about 5 inches chopped off. I love my shorter hair now! Thank you Nikki for being a vital part of my big day and helping me feel amazing!!!

on time, set up out of the way and happily started working on hair. She was professional and did a really awesome job on the hair. My mum was particularly happy that, even though Nikki was in the bridal room with us, she quietly did her job and only added to the overall experience of getting ready. Multiple people commented on how beautiful our hair was at the wedding. It stayed in without moving or changing for over 9 hours without a ton of hair spray or bobby pins. She is extremely impressive in her abilities and makes flawless curls! I have worked with a lot of hair stylists in the Twin Cities for shoots (including AVEDA and others) and Nikki is certainly the top 1% for professionalism and talent. I highly recommend her.

professional and was SO easy to work with, she also had many payment options which was super nice. She was sure to ask each individual if they needed anything changed before their hair was finished, ensuring that they LOVED their hair. My hair was absolutely perfect, stayed in place ALL day, though she did give me a little fix up kit, I didn't end up needing it! I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

It also held up to an outdoor wedding, and several hours on intense dancing, without being uncomfortably tight! I got so many compliments! I really cannot say enough good things about Nikki - recommending to my friends!

wedding morning, and she was calm, funny, patient, and extremely talented. My hair turned out amazing! Our photos and ceremony were outdoor on a VERY windy day, even at 2AM, every curl and hair was still perfectly in place. I am so impressed with Nikki and couldn't recommend her more!

During the pre-wedding day appointment, Nikki listened intently to what I desired, asking what was important to me and then clarifying and confirming what she heard. The style turned out exactly like I wanted and held the whole wedding day - from 9am to 2am - not one hair 911 emergency! Nikki is a stylist expert who made the whole process fun and exciting. have very long and heavy hair and wanted my hair down and curled. She got my hair to keep a curl the entire day with no touch ups! Unheard of for me!). I had an updo for my sister’s wedding, and she did wonders on my hair. I received compliments all day on it and how my hair should be in a wedding magazine!
