You cannot go wrong hiring Jess as your photographer! She is incredibly talented at what she does. She's responsible, professional, organized, and fun. Our pictures turned out amazing and we will forever cherish them. I just can't stop scrolling through our album. I am truly obsessed and I have never been one that's comfortable in front of a camera. She made us feel like royalty on wedding day and was incredible at managing our huge wedding party (9 on each side plus parents and 2 kids). She will keep you feeling calm and confident all day throughout the chaos! Not only that but she was a major help during the planning process, as my venue sent a timeline that just didn't make sense. She helped me to rework it so that we could get everything we wanted incorporated into our day. I truly felt like she was my friend, my confidant, and ultimate hype-man. It has taken me forever to write this review, solely because I’ve been in denial that my husband and my experience with Jess has come to an end. If you are seeking a photographer that is high energy, has empathy for days, a keen eye for details and candid moments, lives for a good viral Internet song or quote, AND have I mentioned her skill at capturing detail after detail!? Jess is infinity-percent your person! After working in PR/Marketing for over 15 years and being a photographer myself, I knew the moment I reviewed Jess’ website and social channels that she would be our first and only choice photographer. Thank goodness she had our date available! From day one, Jess treated us like we had been friends forever (the mutual tall people vibes were seriously real). She built a connection with us that truly enhanced our experience in ways that cannot be put into words. I won’t ever forget how she was one of the first people to reach out when I shared news of my grandfather’s passing months after we signed our contract with her and had begun planning. She may not have known this until now, but I still carry the words of comfort she shared with me every single day. She also was a saving grace by being an incredible listening ear with sound advice when I truly needed it during the last few chaotic months of planning, even more when we became concerned about lack of communication with our venue and other vendors. I knew during our engagement session with Jess that we had made one of the best investments for our wedding, and that opinion still heavily resonates with us post- wedding. Come our wedding day, Jess was the perfect amount of calm and hype girl we needed. She managed both of our families and crazy bridal party with ease, and every person we’ve spoken to since our big day cannot stop complimenting how bubbly, kind, and open Jess was (even those who cannot stand to be photographed have sang their praises on how comfortable she made them feel!) I still weep looking at all the detail shots she captured that incorporated heirloom items and special trinkets that had been passed down to me by my loved ones, and we’re still receiving compliments about her thoughtful blog post recapping our day a month-plus later. Jess— there truly are not enough phrases or ways Thomas and I could properly thank you for the services you provided us during one of the most exciting times of our lives. Heck, even writing this review has been an emotional experience! You have become part of many core memories from our planning process and wedding day that I’m confident we’ll be talking about you for quite some time. Thomas and I both look forward to when we can work with you again!

Working with Jess was maybe the best decision we made for our wedding. Her photos are obviously beautiful, but she is wonderful beyond the pictures she takes. She responded to all of our emails within hours (usually minutes) and communicated with us through every step of our engagement. She made two camera-shy people feel so comfortable in front of the camera. As queer women, we knew we needed vendors who would enthusiastically celebrate our love, and Jess was our biggest hype woman from engagement shoot to wedding. We were genuinely excited to get to spend time with her on our wedding day! We only hope we’ll get to work with her again in the future! We will never stop singing her praises!

It has taken me a little while to write this review. Mostly because it’s hard to find the right words to express just how amazing Jess was as our wedding photographer. Jess took care of EVERYTHING. Making our timeline, organizing everyone, coordinating the chaos, and keeping everyone smiling and laughing. When rain was in our forecast for wedding day I was devastated. But Jess reassured me throughout that she had a plan and somehow even with the rain on and off we got absolutely incredible outdoor pictures. She kept me calm and was so comforting and supportive. She’s an all around great human. Her energy is infectious. Our wedding pictures are better than we dreamed of. She really captured us and they look so natural and unposed. We felt the same way with our engagement shoot. The pictures came out amazing and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Can’t imagine our wedding day without Jess. She is the best! Multiple people after the wedding asked me if Jess was a friend of mine, that’s how much she connects with her couples.

Working with Coral Compass Photo Co. from start to finish was such a wonderful experience. Jess goes above and beyond with her clients. She sent us the most amazing welcome/congrats package when we first signed on, which made us feel so special and got us excited to work together. Our engagement photo session was a great introduction to how she works. She made us feel at ease during the session and has such a fun-loving energy that is truly infectious. Jess is great at giving the couple different poses to try that felt and looked so natural. Leading up to the wedding, Jess was incredibly prepared and helped Leo and I prepare as well. She is super communicative and great at direction/keeping us in the loop. On the wedding day, Jess went above and beyond to make sure she got all of the photos we wanted. She took the lead and was great at organizing our huge bridal party and family into lovely and natural photos. Her assistant Hailey was amazing as well and it was so great to work with them both! And on top of all that, Coral Compass produced AMAZING PHOTOS. I love how the true moments were captured in such an authentic way. We feel like there are almost no words to describe how above and beyond Jess is! From the sweet little gifts in the mail to making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera she always exceeded all our expectations. She is an incredible photographer but even more important an amazing human being. Her warmth and kindness made all of our family and friends feel gorgeous and special. Jess is beyond amazing. Her photos speak for themselves, she can capture and harness light like no photographer I've seen, and she has an amazing eye for finding the perfect backdrop for the shot. But, above and beyond her photographic magical abilities is her ability to put this self conscious bride at ease in front of the camera. I hate having my picture taken, and she made our wedding day FUN for the posed shots; and for the candid shots she's like a photo ninja- she was everywhere, but not ever noticeable. She is just such a joy to work with, a true professional, and insanely organized and on top of everything. And I'm blown away by how quickly we got our proofs and our wedding album. I'm in love with all of the pictures. If you have to plan your wedding day around Jess' availability- do it. You will not be disappointed. I can not recommend her highly enough.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing working with Jess was. To driving over an hour to a random spot for our engagement photos, to rebooking our wedding a year later due to covid. She was such an amazing person to work with, I was very picky about pictures I did not want and she took that request and made sure I had all the pictures I did want. Jess is AMAZING! My husband and I originally hired Jess for an elopment in Maine. I could not recommend Jess at Coral Compass any more highly! Not only are her photographs bright and beautiful, she's also fun and makes everyone feel so confident in front of the camera. She went above and beyond for our wedding in February of 2021. Due to COVID, we were forced to cancel with our venue just three weeks before and find a new ceremony site. Jess was so flexible, she helped us create our timeline for the day and directed our guests the day of! I honestly could not imagine our wedding day without her. 10/10 would recommend! I can't wait to hire her back for our full reception in 2022!! :)

Amazing!! Jess took our portrait session for our Christmas card pictures. The pictures were absolute perfection. There were so many amazing photos. She gave us many more photos then we were expecting, and was such a breeze to work with! Jess really wanted to make sure we were happy and was willing to travel to us. The weather wasn't great and she offered to reschedule because she wanted to make sure we would be happy with the outcome. She delivered the photos quickly and always emailed me back in a timely manner. Would recommend her 100%!! We will definitely book her again when we are back in New Hampshire.

Jessica photographed our wedding ceremony, family portraits and first dance for us on 09/12/20. My first impressions were that she was personable, friendly and punctual. By the time she left, though it was so much more than that- we wanted her to stay for our reception as a guest! 😂 she was phenomenal. Professionally, she was on schedule, she got every specific shot we asked for and MORE, and really brought our perfect day to life with her photos. There was not one bad photo in our entire gallery!! If you are looking for a fun, knowledgeable, supportive, AFFORDABLE, punctual (in every way) photographer then Jess is your girl! When I began searching for the right photographer for our wedding, I was told many times “you get what you pay for”. My FH and I were paying for most of this wedding on our own and had a very tight budget. Time after time I was let down by multiple photographers that despite having a nice portfolio were just way too over our budget. Then I found Coral Compass Photo Co during a random search. I took a peak at Jess’ portfolio and packages and thought she might be the one. I reached out and Jess was very prompt with responding and answering any questions/ concerns that I had. She was flexible with our needs and within a couple days we booked her. We originally said no to an engagement session but then after some thought we decided to add it on so we could get used to being photographed. During our engagement session we brought our dogs and Jess was great at capturing their personalities. She was honest about some of our ideas and if they would photograph well or not but was totally supportive about giving it a shot. She returned sneak peaks in record time and the photos were spectacular! Our wedding was scheduled for May 2020, but then Covid....Jess was one of the first people to reach out to us to check in. After much discussion we decided to postpone and Jess was super flexible with fitting our new date in her busy schedule. We decided to elope in front of our parents on our original date, and we requested that Jess be present to capture this moment as well. Once again, stunning photos in record speed. It honestly felt more like a girlfriend hanging out with us snapping some photos than someone we hired! Our postponed date was August 7th and once again Jess was with us to capture these moments. My husband who is normally extremely anxious, awkward and uncomfortable has become so comfortable with Jess that she was able to capture some pretty memorable moments of Ryan with his guard down. Once again I had some different ideas for photos and Jess was 100% up for it, but fully disclosed expectations vs reality. Well, she blew it out of the park once again. The photos are again amazing, she had sneak peaks up that night, a blog post with her faves up within a week and the finalized album already available this week! My husband and I were so sad to see Jess go at the end of our wedding, but we know exactly who to call next time we are looking for another photo shoot. I can say with certain that if you hire Coral Compass you will get way more than what you pay for.

Jess is INCREDIBLE!!! I had my wedding during the COVID19 pandemic and she eased all of my worries. She was prompt, easy to talk to, had a clear vision & eased all worries, stress & wedding day drama. Not only is her work incredible, she knows how to capture genuine moments without looking too staged or too forced. I’m pregnant with my first child and she captured a beautiful moment of my husband holding my belly during our first look. It was not planned but she has her eyes focused on us the entire time. I also had a first look with my dad that turned a little sour when we had an uninvited guest arrive unexpected in the middle of the first look. Instead of giving my attention solely to my dad, I was focused on this person who I thought ruined this moment for me. Jess helped me snap back to reality and reassured me that he will be taken care of. She helped me relax in such a stressful moment. On top of all of this she captured BEAUTIFUL photos of my first look with my dad. You have never known this crappy moment was “ruined”. Jess saved it for me and I’m forever grateful. Jess was absolutely amazing, if I could give her a million stars I would. Finding the perfect photographer was at the very top of my list, so I really did my research, and I am SO lucky that I went with Jess. I'm sentimental & I LOVE a good photo album, and I wanted to find someone with an eye for all the little details. From our very first communications, I knew working with Jess was going to be a dream. She was so sweet & genuinely invested in our wedding plans, and also thorough & detail oriented, answering all of my questions and providing me with tons of info. I was so glad her packages include an engagement shoot - it gave us an opportunity to meet her and get used to having ourselves photographed. I was not disappointed. Upon meeting Jess, she was SO SWEET and SO TALENTED! Honestly, we left the engagement shoot just gushing about how wonderful of a person she was. I don't love being in front of the camera, but she gives such great direction that we didn't have a second to feel awkward. We looked gorgeous, comfortable & natural in every single photo. Then, COVID-19 hit and threw our big wedding plans for several loops. Jess was so caring, flexible, and supportive during all this uncertainty. She proactively contacted me with all of our options, before I even had time to worry. She talked to us over video chat to discuss a new wedding plan (or plans, as they continued to shift). We ultimately moved our date up and "eloped" and she was able to shift and help us bring together a timeline for the new wedding with just a few weeks notice. I'm so grateful for the support & sense of calm she brought to all of those conversations. The wedding itself went off without a hitch, and Jess captured every moment & every detail perfectly. She also just brings her amazing sense of humor & beautiful fun energy with her, and all of our friends & family couldn't stop raving about her. The bridesmaid/groomsmen squad had so much fun getting ready while she captured all the perfect moments. She staged a gorgeous "first look" for my husband and I, and really made the moment feel personal and not just like a photo op. She directed the bridal party & our family through portrait sessions that were quick & fun (it was 90* out), while still getting like, a billion photos of everyone. She captured so many gorgeous photos, happy tears, genuine laughs, and just amazing moments that I may have otherwise missed. And the DETAILS! Detail photos galore. From the dress & jewelry, stationary, florals, picnic set-ups, she captured it all. Hold on to your hats ya'll, cause there's more. Let's talk about how this girl goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. The bride guide (& grooms guide) she sends you when you sign up - she knows her stuff!! I basically planned my whole wedding out of these babies. The total surprise mini album of our engagement shoot. The turnaround time on photos - Jess posted a sneak peak of our wedding before we were even done with the after party. She posts a blog (like, FAST) with a TON of photos to tide you over. We had our whole gallery so fast, well under the time in the contract, and all beautifully & tastefully edited. In summary, read the blog, check out the gorgeous little world of happiness & positivity that is her instagram, and you'll see what I mean. She gets to know all of her couples & feels like a part of the family by the time you get to the big day. Hands down, choosing to work with Jess was the best decision we made.

We get a little camera shy, but she made the experience easy so we could relax and have fun. The final product came out better than I could have imagined and I am absolutely in love. I am thrilled we made the decision to have Jess as our photographer! From the beginning, her communication was excellent. At the wedding she made sure we were happy the shots she was getting and gave us direction to make sure we looked our best. Jess was incredibly efficient and our pictures turned out better than we could have imagined! I would highly recommend hiring her for a wedding!

I discovered Jess by seeing her on several wedding Facebook groups and LOVED her style of photography. From the second I talked to Jess I knew she was meant to be our photographer, I booked her as soon as we could! Meeting her in person for our engagement photos only solidified this feeling. For two people who feel awkward in front of a camera, you cannot tell in our photos. Jess made us feel comfortable, she is hilarious and totally approachable. Throughout our engagement Jess would check in and helped me create our timeline for the day. During the wedding she was exactly my vision of the perfect photographer; she was early, extremely organized and gave a calming presence. We got several compliments on how quick she was to direct our very large (and complicated!) family portraits and how friendly and approachable she was throughout the day. From the previews, the blog (which is an amazing extra touch!!), the mobile apps and the goodies she sends at the end- it was truly one of the best investments of our day. I will treasure our photos forever and hope our paths cross again. I would recommend Jess 100 times over!!

Coral Compass Photo Co. can not be beat! Jess and Jaci were incredibly personable and made our whole wedding party comfortable throughout the whole day. Jess works so hard and loves what she does! We had our blog with our preview in less than a week, and access to the rest of our photos in less than a month! Jess put up with any silly request that I had - from pictures with significant trinkets to getting a photo riding an oversized rooster prop - and was always wearing a smile while doing so! Our album came back and was truly amazingly well done and we can not wait to show all of our family and friends. The small details that Jess puts into her work do not go unnoticed are are one of the many reasons that you should consider working with her! We loved our day all the more because Coral Compass Photo Co. was apart of it!

Right off the bat Jess was awesome to work with! She was super informative and answered all of my questions so promptly. I immediately felt at ease and felt she knew exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. She drove almost FIVE HOURS to my wedding, was prompt, and immediately started taking photos when she got there. My husband and I had never taken professional photos before but she made us feel comfortable and gave us plenty of direction when it came to newlywed portraits. Jess captured of all the small details and special moments I was looking for as well. All of the photos came out absolutely gorgeous! I've gotten SO many compliments on my photos and am obsessed with them. I would HIGHLY recommend Jess to anyone!

We loved working with Jess! From the first moment we started working with her to the moment she sent us our finished photos (and beyond), Jess made us feel comfortable and confident in ourselves and our choice to work with her. She is easygoing, laid back and works fast, both while taking pictures and during the editing process. She caught all of the important moments and yet somehow you also barely noticed she was there. The pictures are beautiful, and Jess was able to capture all the moments that made the day so great. We are so glad that we chose her!

I highly recommend Jess to anyone looking for a reasonable, down to earth photographer to be part of their big day. Not only are we thrilled with the pictures she took (they came out GREAT and perfectly captured our day), but her organization and professionalism is just what you want around on such a busy day. We had a few major setbacks on our wedding day, and between the crazy weather and an evacuation right before the ceremony, things did not go as planned. Jess was able to go with the flow and jump right in to help us through the chaos which was MUCH appreciated. She was quick to help us adjust our plan, remained calm and still managed to capture all the important shots we wanted for the day. She went above and beyond a photographer's duties, and made sure we were taken care of the whole day. We couldn't have asked for a better person to have with us on our day!
