We hired the Corazon team under the Day-Of / Lite Planning contract. They were respectful and kind in their interactions with our wedding planner and all other vendors and were a consistent contact onsite at all times.
The Corazon team has the ability to think on their feet and problem-solve. Due to rain, we had to move our reception inside at the last minute. The Corazon team managed some last-minute negotiation with our venue, on our behalf, resulting in a beautiful alternative entrance through the museum (our venue), ensuring great flow and delighting our guests. They made a potentially stressful situation stress-free for us.
We especially liked that the Corazon team recognized and leaned on the abilities of our wedding planner, and due to this, they embraced a flexible, collaborative approach, which ultimately saved us money. For example, the Corazon team conducted our last prep meeting at the rehearsal instead of traveling up for a separate meeting. They also forgoed their stay in Santa Fe the night of the wedding. Additionally, they proactively brought an extra team member on the day-of at no additional price to us.
The feedback that we have for future clients engaged in a Day-Of / Lite Planning contract to help maximize a partnership with the Corazon team is: to define and confirm the roles and responsibilities of the Corazon team early on and to request a clear delineation of Corazon’s Day-Of Coordination duties versus traditional planning tasks. This clarification will ensure the Corazon team is utilized to their fullest potential without any scope ambiguity.
Camilla and Hannah were absolutely amazing. They were on top of everything for us. They had questions we had not considered prior and we are so grateful. We hired them for day of coordination and they exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend working with them. They were so personable that they quickly became part of the family.
We started working with Camilla of Corazon Events a year before our wedding, and well before we had any idea we would be getting married during a pandemic. Camilla gracefully and graciously helped us turn our large wedding into a small, intimate event at home. We could never have done it without her, and she and her team made our event go off without a hitch. We are so grateful to have worked with you and gotten to know you, Camilla!
You know how everyone tells you “something will go wrong on your wedding day, and that’s ok.” Well NOTHING went wrong on my wedding day. And if it did I did not know about it which helped my husband and I have the best day. I feel like our wedding day would have been at least 50% less enjoyable if we did not get Camilla involved. At some weddings, I have been to, I can pick out the wedding coordinator easily because she is stressed out and trying to manage the guests’ every move. However, Camilla was so low key, very calm and really let our guests enjoy their evening. She was so easy to work with on our phone call meetings, highly organized, and very patient with our ideas to individualize our wedding. We had a lot of our own decorations that Camilla set up perfectly and got any of the must have items back to our room while we were able to go out and enjoy the after party. She was fantastic in coordinating communication with all of our vendors and everything seemed very cohesive. In regards to getting ready for our wedding, going with Camilla at Corazon was one of the best choices we made. Thank you soooooo sooo much for giving us our best day!
Camilla is wonderful!! She fully prepared us for the big day which ended up being stress free (for bride, groom and families) and ran seamlessly! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Her attention to detail and level of organization was very calming to this nervous nelly bride to be :) We highly recommend!!
Camilla and her team at Corazon events are amazing!! She helped with all of my planning from beginning to end. She went above and beyond my expectations. You will be so happy hiring her to take the stress off of doing it yourself! Thanks again Camilla, you made my day extra special and stress free!!!
I have been to several of Camilla's events and they are always superb! I have been a guest at two weddings and a community event and they were all so well done and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Corazon Events to anyone who is planning an engagement of any kind. She can handle em all!
Camilla was so easy to work with and laid back. Just what I needed. I live out of state and she helped me along the wedding planning process smoothly with great advice. She did a wonderful job and I highly recommend her and Corazon Events!!
Camilla and her staff did a great job. My only complaint was that the billing process was slow and so I was "surprised" by the expense of my last several bills.
