We had a violin and keyboard duo from Corda Entertainment for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the music was beautiful! They offered a great mix of traditional and contemporary ...
music that created the perfect atmosphere for our day.
Rick Hendricks was especially helpful in choosing our setlist and made the planning process very easy. A special highlight was when they played the piano at our venue during cocktail hour, which made the experience even more unique and memorable.
Highly recommend Corda Entertainment for elegant and professional live wedding music!

The live music provided by Corda was enchanting! We had a trio (violin, viola, and flute), and it was the perfect balance for our outdoor garden wedding. Their performance added el...
egance and warmth to our wedding ceremony, and they were helpful in finding the right music for our ceremony. Our wedding was moved from Asheville to Winston-Salem only three weeks before our wedding, and Allison stepped in and pulled everything together with very little notice. She took the music we originally chose and made it fit her trio and added some perfect additions, and she even found sheet music to fit a couple of songs not on their song list that were meaningful to us. They’re highly professional and skilled musicians — we would always recommend them!
We had two musicians (cellist and violinist) for our ceremony, playing two pop/easy listening songs in a classical style and two traditional hymns for the order of worship. Corda w...
as great about working with me on song selection and had just about anything I asked for in an arrangement for strings. Our ceremony was in a smaller, more intimate space, with a handful of guests. No need for microphones - the live music filled the space perfectly and sounded beautiful.
We had Rick Hendricks play the keyboard for our outdoor ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! He was able to play every piece we asked for, no questions asked, and they all sound...

I highly recommend booking with Corda Entertainment and Rick Hendricks for your wedding! Thank you for making our ceremony so special and personalized.

ey were extremely accommodating as well, while rather late we asked them to play a song for the recessional that we both love, which was not a traditional string instrument song, they were happy to do it and they performed it beautifully.

t the best group for your venue. To be honest I was so overwhelmed I never even saw the musicians, but hearing the music was so amazing when I watched my mom, bridal party, and when I walked down the aisle. She worked with me on finding the music I wanted and the musicians were prompt and played beautifully at our venue. I would highly recommend Corda due to their talent and professionalism.
Extremely professional and on time. Wonderful to work with at an affordable value. They added the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony. 100% would recommend for any bride to be.

wesome and I loved loved loved the live 4-piece string quartet for my ceremony. I wish I could have sat there through the entire prelude. Allison worked with me to pick my pieces and even learned a new piece (hello, Take My Breath Away from Top Gun) for the ceremony. It was perfect!
Corda entertainment made it really easy for us to have great music at our ceremony and reception. The website was easy to use and I really liked how they had a long list of clips o...
f music to choose from so that we felt confident in our choices, even though we aren't classical music experts. Alison at Corda was so helpful, flexible, and really took the time to make sure we were happy with our musicians, music, and arrangements and provided professional insight when we needed it. We were so happy with Corda!

ic that set the tone and mood my daughter and I envisioned. Their website enabled us to make excellent choices, and their flexibility with playing songs not on the list made our choices perfect. Importantly, when we selected songs that were not appropriate for a trio, but better suited for a quartet, they were forthright it telling us that so we were not disappointed. They fulfilled their contract even when we had to change the time of the wedding thanks to Hurricane Florence. I appreciate the extra effort they made to even get to the venue amidst the rain. Now that's exceptional service! They were excellent and a great value.

Corda is your first class entertainment option for all events. We asked the string trio to play for our daughter’s recent wedding reception cocktail hour and the music was wonderfu...
l. The trio’s classical strings with contemporary selections was the ultimate background music—best of all, you heard and saw them but the volume was just right for conversation (very important to me as hostess.) I had many nice remarks afterward on the group. Corda’s Alison Lawson was a delight to work with, very accommodating and professional, and she provided a lovely cd in advance with all of the music selections, classical to contemporary. We would have loved to have her for the wedding ceremony as well but the church has its own music already in place. We can’t recommend Corda highly enough!
Corda Entertainment was a pleasure to work with from the initial conversations to the big day. We had a string trio play for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. It was an absolute...

I did not get to hear very much of the music, but I do remember hearing them start to play my wedding march song (Canon in D) before I began walking down the aisle :) Alison was great to work with and very responsive to my emails. It was also fun listening to the music (a great selection by the way) on their website and getting to pick which songs we wanted played. Their prices are very reasonable and it also beat the price of others in the area. I would definitely recommend!!

r responses, and made it very easy to get everything set up for the music. They were even able to make an arrangement of my husband's favorite classical piece for the duo we had. They played for the cocktail hour as well. The music was beautiful. I wish I'd had the chance to hear more of the music.

Thank you so much to Corda Entertainment for the beautiful music provided by one of their string quartets for my daughter's wedding. Making the arrangements was very simple, and Al...
ison Lawson made communication fast and easy via phone and email. Although we planned a garden wedding, the rain came and we had to move our wedding inside. But the intrepid Corda musicians braved the showers to entertain our guests under an outdoor tent while the venue was reset for dinner - and they never missed a beat or made any complaint, putting our guests' entertainment ahead of their personal comfort. And, of course, the music was sublime, featuring a mix of classical favorites for the ceremony and many catchy tangos during the cocktail hour under the tent. My only regret is that as the mother of the bride I didn't get to sit and listen to all the wonderful music myself, but I did receive many comments and compliments from our guests about the professionalism and musicianship of the Corda players. If you are looking for an excellent musical addition for your wedding, I highly recommend Corda Entertainment. The weather may let you down, but these musicians never will!

detailed contract after checking our date was available and the location was suitable for the group. A month prior to the event, they ask that you submit your music choices and the lineup. I did so and provided them with the cues for playing. All was well until the day of the wedding. My event planner had a difficult time dealing with the violinist who was short with her when asking for details which we already provided a month before the event. I felt they were ill prepared and did not read the information we took the time to send ahead of time.
BUT, the skill and talent of the group is unheard of. They added to the elegance of our vintage themed wedding and guests raved about how well orchestrated the musicians were. They definitely receive 5 stars in the quality department
Alison was very helpful getting things organized for our wedding and the musicians played beautifully!!
