While working as a trial attorney, Coretta began planning and coordinating special events. More than nine years later, this planner and coordinator continues to create intimate and personal social and corporate events for her clients. Through Coretta's Elegant Events, Coretta has moved into full-time event planning and coordination for 12 select events each year.

Her attention to detail was exceptional. She listened to what I wanted, communicated with me throughout the entire planning process, and made sure no detail went overlooked. I was planning the celebration from out of town, and Coretta made the entire process so much easier and gave me complete confidence that everything would come together. The vendors she chose were excellent, as well!
On the night of the dinner, she went above and beyond. Not only did she make sure everything flowed, she even hosted a game for our family that added such a fun and personal touch to the evening. I was able to relax, enjoy my family, and celebrate my mother because Coretta was taking care of everything behind the scenes.
The evening was beautiful, personal, and memorable, and Coretta played such an important role in making it everything I had envisioned for my mom. I cannot recommend Coretta’s Elegant Events highly enough. She is professional, creative, organized, warm, and truly cares about the people and events she works with.
Coretta will absolutely be my planner for future events. I’m so very grateful I found her!
