We hired Corey after we saw what a wonderful job he did on my brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s photos a few years ago. Neither my wife or I consider ourselves photogenic, so it was great that Corey took a TON of photos and provided us with a bunch to choose from. And they turned out great! We would recommend Corey to any of our friends getting married in the KC area.

My now-husband and I booked Corey because of the amazing photography he did for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. We love his editing style, but we also just really love his demeanor. Corey was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! When initially meeting with Corey, my fiance at the time and I just got along with him so easily. Photography was very high on our list of importance for our big day. I searched high and low for a photographer and kind of stumbled upon Corey when I asked a co-worker for recommendations. I was the maid of honor for my best friend's wedding back in August, and Corey was great throughout the whole day! Being a Photographer myself, I knew both me and the bride had high standards for the photographer that would do the wedding. Corey and his assistant arrived on time to the venue and captured the day start to finish. He had high energy and ideas while he traveled with us to our various locations and was really able to capture the moments. The final images were amazing, and looking back at them, some of them had me wondering when he even took them he was so stealthy. My one criticism would be that some of the initial preview images that were put on social of the group and bridesmaids, some people had eyes closed, and I know myself and the other bridesmaids had woes about that, but in the final images received, this was fixed and for that I'm glad! Corey delivered images to the bride in a timely manner and even a little early! Overall Corey did a great job and I'm glad the bride and I selected him for her day.

Corey was outstanding to work with for my son's wedding! He was very professional in every way! The wedding photos were just beautiful!! He was easy to work with and ready to help in any way!

Words cant really do justice to how amazing Corey is and how our photos turned out but I will try my best. We signed up for the package that included an engagement shoot. I would highly recommend this. Other than getting your engagement pics knocked out it gives you a chance to get to know Corey. I know this will put many brides at ease come wedding day so they have one less thing to be nervous about. Corey is super easy going and has a great outgoing personality. If you hate taking pictures like me he will make you comfortable and I promise you will be having fun during the shoot in no time. He is great at coming up with the perfect shots to catch the personality of the couple. One other recommendation I would make it so get the package that also includes a second shooter. Corey and his assistant were able to capture so much on our wedding day. When we got our pictures back we were blown away about how many photos they got and all the little detail shots of things you might not even get to see throughout your wedding day. I can also say for the price you can beat his quality of work and attention to detail. We were so impressed with Corey we have had him take other family photos for us and plan to keep using him anytime we need photos taken. He is the best!!!

Corey was the perfect fit for our wedding and atmosphere. From the time we have our first meeting to the wedding day, he was so accessible and easy to work with. We didn't have a wedding planner, and he along with my mom and few other vendors really helped stick to the timeline and ease any anxiety about flow and getting things done. So far we've only seen our sneak peek shots, but they are absolutely stunning! I am an artist so I fancy myself a harsh critic, and his style, lighting, and composition is spot on. I also loved his prioritized attention to candid shots. We only spent about an hour or so really doing "posed shots" so we got to spend more time enjoying our day and soaking in every minute. Corey was the photographer for our wedding in April - he was THE BEST! He made taking photos feel very comfortable and so fun. Groom here. We had a great connection right off the bat with Corey. He's a mountain biker like I am, and we all felt totally comfortable with him and his assistant throughout the entire process. Corey made everything fun, easy, and most of all natural. The photos we took, we LIKED, we felt they represented us, and he captured us WAY better than either of us expected. We felt really good about the photos when we were done, but didn't think they would turn out as flawless as they did. Our friends and family were gushing over the photos, and had fun with him at the wedding and reception as well. Tons of compliments. We interviewed and researched others, and are 100% sure we made the right decision. His pricing is way fair, and you will get more than you pay for easily. Corey was exceptional in so many ways. From our first meeting I could tell he would deliver everything I was looking for. He is a great communicator, kept us in the loop from beginning to end, and was easy to get ahold of. We had Corey shoot our wedding a little over a month ago down in Paola. In typical Kansas fashion, the weather in March was unpredictable and it ended up snowing that day. We are so happy it did, Corey had such great ideas for some snow pictures that turned out amazing! I went to a wedding that Corey photographed and he was so stealthy in taking candids, he just blended right in. But at the same time was so casually professional when taking more posed pics, he was great to interact with. I saw some sneak peaks of the wedding photos and they look great!

Corey did a great job photographing our wedding! He took thousands of candid photos that look great and his staged photos were really nice too - simple, well lit and framed. Throughout the whole process he was super friendly, easy-going and helpful. When I realized I'd left my shirt at the hotel, he helped us rearrange our photo shoot so that a friend could get the shirt, we could still take all our photos, and be ready for the ceremony in time. Corey was a great photographer! My husband wanted to take engagement pictures in the snow, which being is KC, is very hit or miss. Corey was excited about the opportunity to shoot in the snow and so flexible when it came to nailing down the date and time for the photos to happen. He was there for 12 hours on our wedding day with a second shooter. He was enthusiastic through the whole day and made everyone feel very relaxed and comfortable taking photos (even on a extremely hot and sunny day). My husband and I are not naturally good at posing for photos, but Corey was great at helping us and had tons of unique ideas. All of our photos turned out beautifully and they are something we will treasured for years to come. We received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. Corey was also great with communicating with us, he quickly answered emails and texts. He was either ahead of schedule or right on time when it came to getting our pictures. The sneak peaks were especially fun! I thought that finding a photographer was really overwhelming , as there were so many options. We met with several people/ studios and no one was a personable, flexible, honest or enthusiastic as Corey. We were so happy we choice.

Corey is the BEST! My husband and I were planning our Kansas City wedding from Denver and Corey made the long distance planning process so easy. The day of the wedding, he was so fun. He was even up for a pit stop at UpDown and got some of my favorite pictures of the day climbing up the Skee-Ball game! He fit in great with our wedding party. When my wife and I decided to get married in Kansas City (her home town) we knew it was going to be a challenge. Why you ask? Because she was working in Minneapolis and I am stationed overseas in Japan. Luckily we each had family members living in KC to help us. One of the most important things to book (and book early) is the photographer. The wedding can be beautiful and meaningful, but if you don’t have an outstanding photographer, then remembering the wonder of that day can be a challenge or even an impossibility. Corey Cassaw is that outstanding photographer! He was highly recommended to us by my brother-in-law who had worked on a project with him previously, and although we were only able to meet with him via skype, we knew he was a genuine person who was going to work his butt off to deliver the best product possible. We purchased the gold package which included Corey plus a handpicked second “shooter” for 12 hours, the digital rights to the pictures he would take, and an engagement photo shoot. Since we had already done engagement photos, Corey agreed to substitute the shoot for an expertly arranged photo album. Throughout the day and into the evening, Corey was exceptional! He tirelessly captured every moment, and had so many great suggestions about where to take the best pictures and how to pose. He not only captured the fun and emotion, he enhanced it. After the wedding, we knew that the pictures would be awesome but when we actually saw the pictures we were blown away! It was such a blessing having Corey as our photographer. You’d be a fool not to book him for your wedding or special event!

Corey was a blast to work with and captured our day with pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I have had several friends have negative experiences with photographers so I was very anxious about finding a photographer. I really wanted to meet the photographer before we booked but I planned a wedding while living in a different state and we did not have the availability to meet in person. As a result Corey offered to meet us through a Skype session. After the session we knew we had found our photographer! Corey was so friendly, easy to talk to and genuine. To me, that was incredibly important because I wanted to feel comfortable with someone who would be with us all day and sharing some of our intimate moments. Corey was prompt in his email responses and very patient with me as I was balancing a demanding full time job and planning a wedding remotely. When we met with Corey in person before the wedding he had several great recommendations on places for pictures. On the big day, Corey was with us from the start until the end. We also chose the package that included a second photographer to make sure no special moments were missed and they both worked very hard to ensure we had the best shots. He gave us lots of positive feedback as we were posing which made me even more excited to see the pictures. We had so much fun with Corey during the day! When we got the images back from the wedding we knew they would be awesome but we were absolutely blown away with what Corey was able to capture. I have shared the link to our album with all of our vendors (cake, catering, venue, make-up artist DJ, flowers, Day of Coordinator etc…) and all of them have said what an amazing job our photographer did. Some said these are the best pictures they have ever received from a bride. What a compliment to Corey and his work, you know they’ve seen a ton of images. Corey was the epitome of professional. I was a part of a wedding and I knew the bride personally. I also know she is not the easiest to work with. I don't think Corey knew the bride prior to but the way they were getting along you would of that they were the best of friends. He had us smiling, laughing and worked great with the kids. He was at the location hours before being asked to be there, I know cause I had to be there bright and early, scouting locations for great photographs and the results were amazing.

My husband and I used Corey to photograph our engagement pictures & wedding day pictures. Aside from receiving beautiful images, we can't say enough about how easy Corey was to work with! The conditions on both of our shot days were less than ideal (rain & extreme heat!) but Corey didn't seem phased! He was very efficient and professional and I was amazed how he got all of the members of our families and bridal party to photograph so quickly and in such an organized way!
