and that is reflected in her wedding photography. Her work is beautiful, and she did an incredible job capturing the emotions of the day. Corey herself is just a cool person to hang out with. She is down to earth and fun to talk to, and we felt completely comfortable being photographed by Corey (which is no small feat given how awkward I usually am in front of a camera). Hire Corey! You will not regret it.

al, posed family photos and awkward couple photo moments. On our day, I never once felt like that's what we were doing, because it wasn't. Corey was capturing real moments, with the people we love the most, in the way we usually do. How special is that? Even the actual posed photos (mom, dad, siblings, wedding party) were quick, natural and fun. Just a couple of days after the ceremony, Corey shared a few photos with us. While I would usually dread seeing photos of myself, I couldn't wait for them to download (on my phone) so we could take a look. And when they did, we were AMAZED. They were just phenomenal. We cannot wait to see more. THANK YOU!!!!!

Her professionalism matched her sense of serenity in going with the flow of the afternoon and evening. We trusted Corey with capturing the 'moments' of the day that may have gone overlooked with all of the running around and seas of cameras at a wedding, and we were VERY pleasantly surprised to see that she had caught stuff that we- as the guests of honor- completely missed in the hubbub.
A nice mix of formal photos and candids, Corey uses bold colors and contrasts to make her photos pop and create a dynamic effect. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with her.
Perhaps the most endearing part of this (other than the anticipation before our First Look and having just a relaxed conversation to ease the buildup of nerves) was that Corey was really prompt in getting back to us at every step, including sending along photos that we didn't see in our initial roll and following up with a REALLY sweet gesture of sending us some prints from the day. A true professional, through and through.

ing photography to a couple with a tight budget who give back to their communities. We still can't believe she chose us as the lucky 2017 recipients! From our first meeting, we felt at ease with Corey. She answered all our questions, provided practical tips to prepare for the day, and was very responsive to all our communications, pre and post wedding. On the wedding day, she made us feel so comfortable that any jitters we had about being photographed, quickly went away. Our bridal party still talks about how warm and lovely it was to have her around.
As for the pictures, I spent many hours on her blog and Instagram and loved how different it felt from other wedding photographers. She captured all the formal posed pictures, little details of the church and venue, guest pictures during cocktail hour, and so many wonderful candids through out the day. Corey has an amazing ability to capture and edit pictures that convey emotions and a story. Would highly recommend!

ing stages and we felt entirely taken care of. We knew we were in good hands from the start which let us really relax in the lead up to the wedding.
On the day she was a calming presence, giving us everything we wanted and more while fitting seamlessly into the party atmosphere that we were building. We felt entirely comfortable when we were doing our couples shots and family shots before the wedding, we were always on schedule and were never worried that a single moment was being missed.
The photo's themselves were absolutely beautiful. Corey's work stood out for us when we started seriously looking for photographers because of the way she captured the life of the events she was shooting. You'll find no stiff portrait shots in her portfolio. Every picture of the hundreds she sent us of our wedding day was beautifully framed, vibrant and an incredible reminder of the best party we will ever throw. She not only managed to capture all of the stand out moments that we remembered from the wedding, but so many little moments that we missed in all the hustle and bustle of getting married. It feels like we got to see every smile, every tear and every ridiculous dance move that happened in that barn. Her photos really told the story of our wedding and will stand as a reminder of the absolute joy of that day for the rest of our lives.
I don't think we can recommend her highly enough for both her professionalism and the quality of her work.
