had a hard time finding the perfect shade of lipstick and after a handful of attempts we found that what I loved most was actually a mix of two shades, so instead of just sending me on my way with the unique combination she went to the store with the two shades and tested samples to find a brand that was the exact shade I was hoping for! I was able to touch up my lips and keep the beautiful color she helped me find. This is just a small example of how she went above and beyond for me on my special day, I could not recommend her more!!

Corie was so funny and had so much actual GOOD wedding advice while we did my trial. I felt at ease, and like she totally had my back for when the wedding day comes! I left my trial and only had a few critiques, which I sent her in an email. On the actual wedding day, Corie and her assistant arrived at the hotel on time and immediately started setting up. They then got right to work with each girl and my mother. We were done on time and my hair looked just as I wanted it! And my bridesmaids looked gorgeous and were SO happy as well! I ended up getting the airbrush makeup that she offers and I'm so glad I did. It felt completely weightless and stayed on all day long! Corie was one of the easiest wedding decisions I made and I'm so glad she was a part of my day!

million bucks. Our wedding party consisted of 6 bridesmaids, myself and 3 additional family members. She planned the timing of the day perfectly, we were all done 30 minutes prior to our scheduled time. Also during the trial she provided other tips and tricks about the day which I found very helpful! I would highly recommend a trial, we were able to tweak a few things based on the trial. Since the wedding I have used Corie for special events, I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with my hair for the wedding. I did two trials with her, and ended up going with a completely different third look on the day-of. During each trial, Corie gave me exactly what I asked her for. After looking at the finished product and realizing that what I asked for was not what I really wanted, she was super patient and talked with me at length about what I liked and did not like about each look. As long as you can communicate your likes and dislikes, Corie is so amazing at listening and helping you find a style that will work for you. On the day of the wedding, she took into consideration all of the likes and dislikes I had shared with her previously and gave me the perfect updo! All three of us have very different hair types — I have very long, curly, thick hair; my mom has very fine, thin hair, and my MOH has medium-length, stick-straight hair. Corie was able to work with all three of us to create three totally different looks that worked perfectly for each of us. My mom is notoriously sensitive about her thin hair, and Corie did a beautiful delicate updo that my mom loved — and I think it was the best her hair has ever looked! The makeup was also fantastic. I made a few changes from my trial to the day-of and Corie easily heard my feedback and adjusted perfectly. We all looked fresh-faced, and I didn’t even feel like I had a ton of makeup on, which I love. She also put fake eyelashes on all of us — I am not a fan of fake eyelashes and was very hesitant to give them a try, but she is an eyelash wizard! I wore them all night and didn’t even notice they were there! Corie was the perfect choice for us, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, laid back addition to your wedding day!

peaking with her she sent me a wonderful email explaining everything, including the initial deposit. She recommended that I schedule a trial on an evening when I could benefit from the makeup. It was very nice. Corie was fifty dollars more than the next most expensive artist I found and about $120 more than most. It was definitely a splurge for me and I was really disappointed. I sent in the deposit and never heard from her. After emailing to check if she got it, she confirmed. She also offered a trial date, which I thought was weird since she had suggested that I set a date that was important to me. I told her it didn't work and asked her about two other dates. It took her a week to respond, but she told me she would be able to do one of the dates I suggested. I should have sent a confirmation email because she did not keep that date for me. I didn't hear from her again, so the month before the wedding I got ahold of her again to see what was going on. She again apologized, but also was no longer able to do the trial date we had discussed, which was not even my first choice. It was very difficult to get a hold of her after that initial phone call and email before I had booked her, and when I finally did, I don't know if she knew which client I was. This was not the kind of service I expected. It wasn't what she had offered to me either. All that aside, she ended up being able to squeeze me in on the date we had agreed on earlier. It was pretty rushed. I really liked my hair but I wanted a different kind of red lipstick instead of the brighter shade she used. She told me she might just have me bring one from home since we wouldn't be able to take all day to go shopping for lipstick, even though that would be fun. I also brought my veil with me because I had heard of girls doing that for the practice run. I asked her if she wanted to try it and she said no and to just bring it the day of. The day of the wedding she confused the venue and was thirty minutes late, which I honestly didn't care about in relation to the other issues. She did a good job on my hair and makeup. The hair was pretty different than what she did at the trial but it was still nice. I liked the makeup a lot better than the trial. She seemed pretty rushed and my mom said it was the fastest makeup she'd ever gotten. She did not put my veil in, and left before I'd even noticed. My friends had to do it and it was falling out all evening! My aunt had to bring in extra Bobby pins just to secure it for the ceremony! Her assistant (I think named Katie) was great and my friends that worked with her loved what she did and felt she went the extra mile. I think I got Corie at a bad time, and I'm sure she normally is an outstanding bridal makeup artist. Best of luck!
