I don't know a lot about flowers but she listened to my vision, looked through pictures with me and just nailed it! I wanted to use of a lot of greenery and fresh smelling herbs with white flowers... a mix of rustic and modern. She made a lush table runner for the head table- everyone was commenting on it's beauty and how good it smelled. She also made a beautiful head piece for my flower girl- the pictures are priceless. She even made a flower collar for my dog!!! Cornelia was at the event when I arrived helping with any last minute detail. Once I have my professional pictures I will post and tag on Instagram. I don't really know flowers at all - but my paperwork says we had masses of hybrid purple delphinium at the altar and purple Dutch hydrangea for the aisles. My bouquet was dark purple sweet peas - and it really was something. We had square bins on the tables filled with green, white, and purple flowers - the pinkt-purply roses were my favorites. There were also bins on the cocktail tables that had sliced fruit in them - gorgeous! The flowers were still beautiful the next day - we used them for a brunch the morning after, and then my mom and her friends had a flower-arranging party and created arrangements for local hospitals (Cornelia's idea - a great one!). Cornelia herself is just such a comfortable, inspired, warm person to be around. I always felt comfortable at her studio - and I cannot say that about many other wedding vendors I worked with. She invites ideas and collaboration - but honestly, I just told her to do whatever she thought, and I loved every single bit of it. She was, such a joy, to work with. I'm willing to bet that if you have a specific vision, she can surely nail that. I just wish that I could upload photographs for you to see. Cornelia was even there just as I was arriving at the wedding, and we got to take a picture together. If you want to provide any information in a comment or something (however this works) I can send anyone pictures! I am concerned that this website might flag this post as "too good to be true" - so I'll add the caveat that yes - there is a hefty price-tag here. But, we certainly received what we paid for - absolutely stunning flowers (so stunning, we received thank you notes from guests (!!) complimenting the florals. Furthermore, I'm sure that she can work within a variety of budgets. Cornelia - Thank you. I hope you get to read these wonderful reviews. Clearly, I'm not the only one thrilled with your art. :)

From the chuppah up front, to the candelabras, to the orchids, and votives and candles everywhere - it was beautiful! Our guests were blown away - and we got so many compliments. Cornelia is flexible, easy to work with, and her finished product is beautiful, one of a kind, and will certainly make your day even more magical and dreamy that you can imagine!

des her style, what I loved about her was that she was committed to our wedding- she was going to oversee our wedding and not pass it off to staff unlike other florists I met with were going to do. Cornelia offered tons of suggestions and worked with me while we hammered out exactly what I wanted for our wedding. I was blown away the day of the wedding with the actual arrangements- and so were my guests! Every single arrangement was unique and creative- no detail by her or her staff was left unattended to. After the wedding, we left the arrangements at the venue, a private club in Chicago, for the other members to enjoy. My mom went back to the club the Monday after the wedding and heard from numerous members that these were the most beautiful wedding flowers that they had ever seen! And I agree! Cornelia is a very creative and wonderful person to work with- I cannot give her enough credit!

The hotel even asked to take pictures of our room for their website because they had never had a more beautiful display in one of their reception rooms. I felt like I walked into a fairytale. She does the most amazing things with flowers and the assortment of roses and orchids she used for my bouquet was exquisite. She is ingenious with color and floral design. Her expertise and creative intuition sets her apart from all other floral designers. She is well worth the money because your wedding pictures will be breath-taking.

es. I wanted something different, free-flowing, interesting, yet still feminine and beautiful, and Cornelia NAILED it! We did 5 small arrangements of coral, mustard and cream flowers, mixed in with lambs ear and lavendar in different shapes and sizes of milkglass for the centerpieces and no two looked alilke -- it was incredible. The bouquets were breathtaking. If you're not into the traditional looks for wedding flowers, go see Cornelia--she's a genius (and extremely reasonable price-wise)!
