We enjoyed hearing about how this small business came to be and overall it made us feel so much more at ease. When we met our day of photographer Dawn, immediately she was so patient and felt like a friend. Dawn went above and beyond just taking our photos, she fluffed and bustled my wedding dress when no family members were willing to help. She even helped carry my dress so I could walk with ease. And of course, the photos came out amazing! Cornerhouse is a truly thoughtful company and you can really tell how much Samantha values being there for her clients and making them feel heard and supported every step of the way. We also received our whole wedding gallery back extremely fast which was a great surprise! Samantha, the owner is extremely professional and always responded so quickly throughout the wedding planning process. She was very thorough and made sure all of our details and timeline were correct several times so everything went smoothly the day of. r us. Our photographer was Vanessa and she was so much fun to work with and so funny and kind and was such an amazing personality to have on our big day. She listened to us and made sure we got pictures we were extremely happy with and even showed up an hour early and started taking photos right away and she had amazing ideas for our pictures. We had an amazing time with Vanessa and greatly appreciated all of her hard work and Samantha has been absolutely incredible during the planning process and helping us know what to expect. We even got our photos early and we’re so happy with how they turned out. I would highly recommend Corner House Photography for anyone looking for beautiful photos on their special day.

When we asked her if we should have a second shooter for our wedding day, she really stressed that one would be enough. The majority of her communications were done over the phone, so there was very little to look back at in emails, which should've been the first red flag. She texts and calls at all hours of the day, outside of work hours and weekdays, which could be seen as a good thing from a certain perspective. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, and our scheduled photographer had a medical emergency and was unable to work (which we totally understand, and don’t fault her for at all). Samantha was very combative about who would be the new photographer, and was extremely nasty on the phone when we voiced our opinion about the initial outcome. A few minutes after we got off the phone with her, she texted us and said that she may be able to get a female photographer for us instead, who she did end up getting for us. On the wedding day, our new shooter, Lori, was on time, which was appreciated - but wasn’t communicative at all when it came to the photography. She barely offered any help with posing, tidying up backgrounds (cups, makeup, people were behind the bride in getting ready pics) - she just took pictures without giving any guidance. At the venue, everything ran on time and seemed to be going great. The one picture we saw a preview of on her camera was a beautiful sunset picture, which we were very excited for! However, once we received our pictures, the lighting was very different from that preview, and the sunset pictures were cropped to be portrait mode… We chose our venue based on the beautiful sunset views over the lake, and we ended up only receiving a few sunset photos with the lake. Again, Lori did not pose us at any point. We had no pictures with our individual parents (Bride with just mom, Bride with just Dad, Groom with just Mom, etc.which we shouldn’t have needed to ask specifically for ). We had no pictures of us with any of our guests other than the wedding party. During our reception, Lori was always by the wall or away from the dance floor. There were very few well taken photos of the reception. We had asked if it made sense for us to have more time for photography at the reception, but Samantha continually assured us that we’d get everything we wanted in the time that we had. Getting our photo gallery was incredibly disheartening and disappointing. We had to ask for several specific shots that we remembered asking for, which were not shared with us initially, and then uploaded to the gallery because we asked for them. This makes us wonder - How many other shots that we wanted were taken but not shared with us? All pictures of us and the guests on the dance floor were from afar, and nothing of anyone's faces. Our first dance was only captured from the back of the dance floor, so there are no shots from the front whatsoever, and only one poorly angled rear shot of the dip at the end of the dance, which we really wanted to have captured. When asked prior to the wedding if we should make a list of specific shots we wanted, Samantha assured us that it wasn’t necessary. Little did we know, our photographer would not pose us, advise us, or really guide us in getting the photos that we had hoped for and rather the response to us was “well you didn’t ask for it”. There’s so much going on at the wedding, we shouldn’t be expected to tell a progressional what to do and capture. . When planning a wedding, the photographer is one of the most important vendors. We spent months researching and contacting people, and felt confident with our decision to choose Cornerhouse. Needless to say, we didn’t feel great about our decision after the fact. We'll be redoing some of our pictures and photoshopping several existing ones to get what we wanted. Most of the photos we received don’t really look like the other weddings they post online.

s extremely communicative and was quick to respond to any questions I had. She is extremely organized as well, which I appreciated. I was assigned Jacob for my wedding day, and I can’t say enough good things about him. My then fiancé and I were a little nervous to be in front of the camera, but Jacob made us feel so comfortable and it really just felt like a fun photo shoot when we were taking pictures with him! Jacob went above and beyond to make our day special and he captured every special moment of the day. If I could give Samantha and Jacob a ten star rating I would! Jacob was also incredibly detailed, timely, organized, and he made sure to help everyone feel their best in front of the camera! Our photos turned out absolutely gorgeous and I would 100% recommended Corner House Photography to any bride to be!

The photographer from her company that photographed our wedding was Jacob, and he is THE BEST! He is so great to work with, he did our engagement photos as well. He makes you feel comfortable and jokes around and keeps it fun. He has great ideas for photo opportunities. Samantha had the photos edited before we could even get back from our honeymoon! We were so happy about that because we were super excited to see them all. Every photo was beautiful and exactly what we imagined. Overall this is a wonderful company and probably will use them again in the future if we ever need professional photos!!

There were a couple hiccups in the timeline planning process, but Samantha and my wedding coordinator were able to work together to sort them out so our day ran flawlessly! I recommend them for sure! Ask for Stacy, she is so nice!!

the bride, that day seems like a blur to me as I was trying to make sure everything went smoothly and was in place, so there is much I don't recall or just didn't have the time to take in. However, after looking at all of the pictures, I can now go back and notice everything: from the ready room, guests, and table decorations all the way to the end of the night. My daughter and I are so glad we chose Corner House and are so very pleased with Christina's work!

axed. A little back story, I'm from Ohio and had our wedding in Clearwater Beach, Florida! When planning from another state, it was a little stressful not knowing the vendors in advance but Samantha did not make he feel this way at all. She was very organized and so helpful. She made planning from another state so easy for me. We also got our engagement pictures done with Corner House! But let me tell you... Our engagement and wedding pictures are GORGEOUS!!! We had two different photographers: one for our engagement shoot (Lori) and another for our wedding (Dawn). Samantha truly only hires the best team. You will be so happy with any of her photographers! Thank you Corner House Team, we appreciate all of you!

She captured everything I asked for and followed the timeline that Samantha helped me set up perfectly! Samantha also checked in often to make sure she had all the info needed and that she had a note of everyone getting photographed. This whole process was professional and enjoyable!
