It was very important to us that the video captured three important things: obviously our love, but also the love of our blended family and the deep relationships we have with our family/friends. Essentially, we were looking for something outside of the traditional wedding video and Matt was happy to help deliver on our vision. He was available for several phone calls to finalize key elements of the video and Matt was incredibly flexible and full of good suggestions throughout the process. On our wedding day, Matt and his team professionally and unobtrusively documented the day. Not to be missed, Matt was just a joy to be around. He was respectful of the day, but not stuffy or aloof. In fact, it almost felt as if we hired a family friend to document our wedding! When we got the final product, we were blown away. We were amazed at what was captured AND the quality/artful eye he used to put the video together. Shots were phased/transitioned beautifully, and the music was blended perfectly!!! They made sure to capture every moment, whether it be our entire ceremony, to picture taking, to cocktail hour, to the speeches and dance floor. Our HD Blu-ray was everything that we hoped it would be. It featured a beautifully put together montage of key events done in the style of a trailer. Matt had asked us what music we would like in the trailer and it worked wonderfully with his footage. The blu-ray also included the entire ceremony, preparations, and reception. The day of the wedding, I barely noticed that Matt and his assistant were there filming the whole day! I have heard other people complain that their videographers were intrusive and in the way, however this was not the case at all. Our wedding reel was AMAZING. It greatly exceeded our expectations. The summary film was a full 10 minutes long and truly captured our entire wedding from getting ready to the ceremony to the reception. I still tear up watching it after the 20th time!
