Cortez Dockside Cottages

Cortez Dockside Cottages is a new breathtaking wedding venue located in the heart of the Historic Cortez Fishing Village, less than one mile from Anna Maria Island. We are the most unique venue in Manatee County, offering accommodations onsite for up to 24 guests, as well as a completely private event space to host your big celebration! Nestled along the shoreline, the old boat house has been converted into a spectacular wrap-around bar, and is the perfect place for you and your guests to enjoy cocktail hour. There are multiple location options for your ceremony, and you'll have your choice of hosting your reception in the waterfront Courtyard, or on the lush grass of the lawn just a few steps away. Every detail was attended to in creating the event space, as well as renovating the five on-site cottages. Originally built in the 1930's, the cottages have been updated with all the current amenities, however we've also kept some of that 1930's charm- original wood celling beams, porcelain farmhouse kitchen sinks, and stained glass peek windows, just to name a few. We can't wait to share our secluded paradise with you!
