er, but it was well worth it. The venue is drop dead gorgeous. It was amazing to have all of our guests staying on site with us. The food was delicious, and every single staff member we worked with was wonderful, especially Karter, Susan, and Charles. I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat, and recommend anyone else to do the same!
Worth keeping in mind, this is a local venue with a small event staff, so patience is necessary for response times. Worth the wait 100%.

ooms, but somehow we got stuck in one of the old ones with a gross bedspread and horrible carpeting and decorations. We were on the first floor and the privacy shades which were right next to the bed wouldn't even close all the was and we had to rig them a certain way in order to get any privacy. We are not the type of people to go complain and switch rooms or anything, but looking back now I wish we would have. The only good thing was the dinner we had while staying there. The salad was really good with the spinach that had been picked from their garden that morning. We decided to go to breakfast there the next morning since we liked the dinner so much. That was a huge mistake. When the food arrived it was cold and soggy and tasted awful. We hardly ate any of it and wasted $40 on breakfast. Also, both times we ate dinner and breakfast, the servers didn't leave a pen with the check so we had to wait an extra long time at both meals in order to get their attention so we could get a pen. It was a horrible stay and we were glad we had only booked two nights there because we couldn't wait to leave.
