ely changed the atmosphere of the room. My husband and I were all nerves in anticipation of the day, but they walked in and greeted us with a big hug and smiles, and we felt immediately at ease. We got to see a few of the shots on their camera throughout the day and we were so impressed. They are true artists. They treated everyone of our guests with such grace and made them feel so special. And when we didn't know what to do (ie: how to cut our wedding cake?! We never practiced...woops) they were there to support us, made sure we were confident and kept the wedding moving! A big goal of ours was that we didn't want to feel like we were doing our wedding for the photos- but for our guests. Kari and Caleb were so sleek and stealthy that our goal was surpassed. However, by the end of the night they felt like family and we wished they were not only our photographers, but our guests, as well! Just the best, kindest people ever! Cannot recommend them enough!

Kari was with the girls, Caleb with the guys. It worked out perfectly! Our first look was so amazing - Kari and Caleb made sure it all went smoothly. They took the most beautiful pictures. Next was bridal party and family photos which honestly I was a little nervous about - NO NEED! Kari and Caleb got this. they are good are giving directions, and even more amazing at finding photo opps. We got our pictures back so quickly, and I just couldn't believe how stunning they were. Kari and Caleb are not only amazing photographers, but great people. Do not miss out on these two!!!

en higher standards for photographers than she has for a husband, was extremely impressed, and she made it clear that we HAD to get Cottonwood at all costs - even if it meant moving our wedding date if Cottonwood was unavailable! I won't comment too much on the photos themselves since everyone can see Cottonwood's work via Instagram, their portfolio, etc, but I do want to discuss the means to the end - the process of working with Caleb and Kari. Starting with the engagement shoot, it couldn't have been easier working out a shooting day with Cottonwood. FYI, Caleb and Kari live outside the U.S. and work events all over the world, so it is good to discuss with them when they will be in your region. Fortunately for us, they were in NYC already when we wanted to have our engagement shoot, so we coordinated a shoot in Brooklyn. Speaking of that shoot in Brooklyn, we were able to leverage Caleb and Kari's expertise - they had shot in that location years ago and still remembered some really cool areas to shoot. The whole evening/night, they were extremely personable and we had a lot of fun. They helped us carry around some 2nd outfits which we changed into and they didn't seem tired even though we put a few miles on our feet that night. So recap, they were accessible and helpful during the shoot and were great at suggesting poses, positioning us, and getting some great, natural reactions out of us. Moving onto the wedding day: Caleb and Kari have great style so they looked great at our wedding. Caleb arrived at the Groom's room in the morning to snap the guys getting ready while Kari did the same with the Bride and the ladies. Caleb and Kari fit right in and there was never any awkward moments. The entire wedding day, which was breakfast to midnight, was a very long day with no breaks, but Caleb and Kari also had a lot of energy and kept the great suggestions coming the whole time. Same as the engagement shoot, we again had a lot of fun with them and got great photos in the process! One of the neat things I noticed was how excited Caleb and Kari were immediately after they took great photos. Caleb or Kari would show each other thumbnails on the camera screen (which is actually pretty big these days), and they would both get so excited - which got me and my wife very excited, too! Then they would show us, and we could see first-hand how their vision would pay-off and that we would get the same type of great pictures we saw on Instagram months earlier but with us in the pictures this time! For my last point I want to quickly mention that I had a lot of friends coming up to me at the wedding telling me how "friendly and cool" the photographers were. A lot of other friends asked for their information, too - now I think I know who might be getting engaged soon! Overall, my wife and I could not be happier with having Cottonwood as the photographers for our engagement shoot and our wedding.

Looking through the pictures, you can feel the emotions coming out of the pictures and that is exactly what we wanted! The love they have for photography comes across in all that they do, our wedding pictures are proof!

During our engagement photoshoot, they had us check out the photos throughout the shoot to make sure they were what we envisioned. They were prepared with what shots they had in mind, but were also flexible to what we had in mind as well. Something we couldn't stop raving over was they were so helpful in making our wedding day run smoothly. They knew the shots we wanted and they made that happen. For our wedding ceremony, it was crucial to stay on time. Kari and Caleb were prompt and captured all the family photos we wanted in the short amount of time we had with style, grace, and smiles on their faces :) When my husband and I had our photos done while our guests were at the cocktail hour, Kari and Caleb had an emergency kit together for us with touch-up make up, deodorant, mints, tissues, water, etc in their rental car. What other wedding photographers have the bride and groom's backs in that way?! They are WAY more than regular wedding photographers; they are super-people. They truly care about you as people - THAT is the best part about them (not to mention the best photos ever). The photos were delivered ahead of time and the quality was superb. Since they are a wife and husband team, they know how each other works and they have a game plan coming into every event - tight and wide shots, bride's and groom's reaction. You will have timeless photos captured with artistry. If you're looking for the right wedding photographers, look no further. You've found them.

I also instantly loved THEM because they were fun, happy, and incredibly humble. On our wedding day, Kari & Caleb were great with my husband and I. They encouraged us, used just the right amount firmness to get some of our relatives quiet for huge family pictures (truly a struggle most days), and were very helpful with whatever was needed (Kari even did my stressed-out MOH's hair for the wedding!). They are very experienced, and their professionalism was impressive. I had an incredible amount of people comment to me about how great they were and even more glowing compliments when we got our pictures back. We love looking through our wedding photos and showing them off to any and everyone :)! I am SO glad we chose Cottonwood Studios Worldwide for our wedding. It was the best decision of the whole wedding process for us.

Marcus and I got engaged on December 1st, 2012 and since that day we began the arduous task of putting together the perfect day. Special not only for us but all of our friends and family as well, we spent countless hours wondering how it would all come together. Kari and Caleb at Starbucks in Hot Springs and looked over their portfolio while chatting like friends. My husband and I left the meeting feeling like we'd be friends with them if we'd gone to college together. They're a young husband and wife team who are fun, creative and professional. Two of the things we loved about them was they offered the rights to our photographs (so you don't have to purchase all your prints through them) and we could have two photographers. That meant Caleb could be with the groom and groomsmen while they were getting ready and Kari could be with me and bridesmaids. On the day of the wedding the photography went perfect! Kari and Caleb are true professionals who have a great system for working together and they know their stuff. Kari went so far as to use her shirt to wipe some sweat from my face before my husband and I did our first look shots. You really can't ask for more dedication than that! After the ceremony Kari stayed to take portraits and Caleb rushed to the reception to take detail pictures before the guests began arriving. At the reception Kari and Caleb got everyone on the dance floor for really fun and great pictures. Many wedding guests commented after the weekend was over that our photographers were so good, fun and professional. I don't think anyone could regret hiring these two!
