Coulbourn Farm

Nestled quietly just outside Snow Hill, MD is Coulbourn Farm, a working farm and wedding venue. A mere 20-minute drive from the larger town of Berlin, the property is secluded with neighbors a quarter-mile away. As a functioning farm, the land is picturesque. With a historic barn and farmhouse, you can say your vows in front of classic rural architecture while overlooking the expansive landscape. The story of Coulbourn Farm begins in 1728. Between this year and 1762, the property was put together and throughout the years went by a number of names. Eventually, it was simply referred to as “Coulbourn”, which was the name of the area at that time. The house on the property was constructed in the early 1800s and roughly 100 years later the barn that is found on the grounds was built. Stables, sheds, and related farming buildings also dot the farm and date back to the early 1900s. The owners of the land have maintained these as they are dedicated to preserving as much of the farm’s original features as they can. These efforts have resulted in an idyllic and traditional farm and an aesthetically-pleasing background for your wedding. It also gives you the chance for some pretty memorable photoshoots. All in all, there are a little over 350 acres of farmland and grounds, creating a retreat for your special day. After the renovations of early 2020, the barn at Coulbourn Farm can accommodate up to 99 individuals. At the end of 2019 and into the next year the owners also added bathrooms and an area for food preparations. Throughout the farm, there are a number of sites suitable for tents. The house, which possesses four bedrooms, may also be used on your special day. As the lovebirds, you also have the option of renting the house to stay in. Additionally, dressing rooms are available to make getting ready for the big event more comfortable and convenient.
