aking sure our special day was a success. Throughout the process she remained in constant communication and handled planning our big day in methodical steps that allowed us to continue to get things planned efficiently but without feeling overwhelmed. Shannon and the Country Club worked with us for all our special requests and quirky ideas, never shying away from trying something new or outside the box. One of the hardest things for us was choosing the menu, and not because of limited options but because everything was so incredible. Everything we tried during our tasting left us second-guessing what we wanted to offer our guests. It was a good problem to have. The day of, the staff was amazing and super attentive to us. Even something as small as making sure our glasses were always full and getting us drinks from the bar. Shannon was indispensable on the big day. We had a serious issue with our flowers, and she along with some of our closest friends came through to find a solution and fix the issue. She kept everything coordinated and on time and made sure that everything ran smoothly, we never had to give it a second thought. The space was perfect, from the back patio for our ceremony to the side terrace for cocktail hour, the beautiful scenery for pictures or the wonderful ballroom space for the ceremony, everything just fit so well and looked amazing. We could not have asked for a better venue. And, as mentioned before, the meals were amazing, we heard nothing but fantastic reviews of what everyone had to eat. I have no hesitation or doubt in saying that our day would have been nowhere near the success that it was without having our wedding at The County Club of York and without Shannon to be their and to coordinate everything. We cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and efforts.

he pricing, you may think you could go somewhere else cheaper. However, unlike other venues, there is not hidden costs and additional fees like other reception venues, and so many items are included in your package. How many places have you gone where the cake, hors d'oeuvres, and champagne for toasting was included in your package and wasn't an extra fee??? Let's talk about the real reason we picked the venue.... her name is Shannon Seitz. As their event coordinator, Shannon played a HUGE part in ensuring that our wishes were met and that we were comfortable. She met with us in person multiple times and was extremely timely in responding to phone calls and e-mails when we had questions. Shannon was a great asset in helping to create our room layout and noting where we wanted all of our extra décor to be located. On the day of the wedding, she greeted us on our arrival, introduced us to some of the other lead staff for our event, and made sure that we had an opportunity to enjoy our wedding the way we wanted. We were so impressed that as our event coordinator, she stayed around for the entire reception, working with the band to keep our timeline on pace, and helping to mitigate any guests who may have gotten out of hand. Our guests loved many things about our wedding, but they loved our food! We splurged a bit and went for one of the higher priced food packages, but it was worth every penny to enjoy a delicious filet with crab cake! We even had a dessert bar in addition to our cake (part of our enhanced food package) that was a big hit with the guests! No one likes bad food or too little to eat at a wedding. I promise that the Country Club of York will never send you home hungry! The other piece to be desired about this location is the actual space for the venue. There is a separate room for cocktail hour, a separate main ballroom for your reception, your own bar area, and own set of bathrooms. At no point do you or your guests need to compete with getting a drink or finding a restroom with other guests at the club. We had about 100 guests at our wedding and could have easily fit another 100 more comfortably. This is an excellent venue for those seeking a classy, ballroom wedding style with a larger guest count.

n without a hitch. The chef mastered the Dominican and Indian recipes we provided to him - again going above and beyond to ensure that quality and presentation were never compromised. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful -- elegant without being ostentatious. Thank you CCY for giving us and our guests an evening to remember.
