ils we did not have to worry about and were handled by the venue, such as the finding a bakery & cake delivery, setting up of the venue & decorating,  added lighting in the reception area, working the music during the ceremony, the DJ, etc. also, it was great that there's places to stay onsite. You can use whatever vendors you wish or not wish to. Monica is very experienced at wedding ceremonies & can offer her opinion and experience with any questions you may have.   Cons: many inconsistencies or out of date info on website, such as they do not come close to holding 200 guests, check in time for the cottages, deposit amount, & it took months for the cottage dates to be blocked off from anyone else booking online although from the very start, we said we were booking all 3 cottages for the weekend, the charges were in the contract, but we had to mention it several times before this was removed from others booking. We had to follow up with my brother in law to correct the situation because the system let him book online. We had an incident were one of our guests asked a worker where the card box was, and she offered to put the card in the box for him. The worker stole the card & spent some of the gift cards before we were able to put a stop on it. When asked multiple times, she denied receiving the card. We had to involve the Sheriff's office & she finally admitted to the theft & charges have been filed. Very disappointed in the handling of the situation by Monica. She didn't offer any apologies for this theft by her employee, nor any concern.  Another negative for me because I am very detailed orientated person: Monica said we would do a walk thru of the venue to be sure we were happy with decorations & setup on Saturday prior to the start of the wedding & this did not happen. Would have made a few changes if given the chance - I wasn't 100% happy with everything. The programs were in a place no one saw them, so very few people got one. The “cupcake stand” wasn’t displayed as we had hoped. We packed everything with instructions, such as shelf 1, 2, etc. but it wasn’t followed and very few of the candles were lit. Everything else looked beautiful though.   Finally, during the reception, they said they only what is needed at a time. I had a few complaints that they would have to stand and wait for cake. I don’t Kmow that all the layers/flavors of cake were cut & we had 4 different flavors - I am not sure all flavors made it out after talking with guests. Supposedly, they only cut a little at a time, so the cake stays moist for the leftovers, but we never got the leftovers of the cake, except the top layer which was never cut into.  Not sure what happened to the rest of the cake, but since we were dealing with the other issue with the card theft the day after the wedding, this was an afterthought.   Overall, my daughter and son-in-law were extremely pleased with the way their special day turned out. I just think people looking at the venue should be aware of the good and bad.

d and more because of the CC&G family. From the very beginning Monica was always my right hand giving me advice, suggestions, and ideas. She was extremely prompt on answering all my questions even if I had asked the same question 10 different times. She allowed me to come to the property anytime I asked for as long as I needed. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and beautiful in and of itself. It is one of the MANY reasons we fell so in love with the venue. When visiting CC&G you truly feel as though you are at a private getaway and you find something new to fall in love with every time. Our wedding day was beyond magical and our guests were completely blown away with not only the uniqueness of the property, but with our food as well. Erik truly has a passion for what he does. If you are a big foodie, CC&G is the wedding venue for you! Our food was BEYOND delicious and Erik truly listened to our likes & dislikes and added his own touch. All our vendors were extremely excited to be working with us on our big day because they could not wait to dive into the food. I can’t say enough positive things about our wedding experience. It truly was a day we will never forget because of the people that worked so hard to make it everything we ever could have wanted and more! ade the whole planning process so easy and stress free and Monica was able to reccomend several reliable vendors for cake, photos, DJ, and flowers, all of which exceeded our expectations. Chef Eric and his staff are top notch and able to accommodate any special requests for menus. The attention to detail in his cooking is unrivaled. They treated us like famy throughout the whole process and made sure we had everything we needed up until we left the next morning. We would highly recommend this location for an all inclusive wedding experience that you will remember forever.

thing was still perfect. Everyone of our guest loved the food, they said it was the best wedding food they have ever had and one of the prettiest wedding venues they have seen; even in the rain! Another amazing plus about this venue is they only book one wedding a weekend, so you can have the entire place for the entire weekend! My husband and I stayed in the cottages on Friday night before the wedding with our bridal party and had a bonfire. I also had some bridesmaid stay on Saturday after the wedding while my husband and I stayed in another cottage. It was so nice to walk to our room after the wedding.
