Country Gardeners Florist

on. Everything was beautiful and tasteful and gave us a stunning wedding day, all while staying within our budget. At Country Gardners, they not only create gorgeous floral arrangements, but they are on site all day setting up, breaking down and moving pieces to wherever you want them throughout the entire event. They also have many decorations you can rent, without the hassle of worrying how to travel with it all and who is setting everything up. You get the most out of what you're paying for, and we can't recommend them enough.

s, arches, etc. They exceeded all of our expectations and made our visions and dreams come true. Jo is near and dear to our hearts as she's done the florals for three generations of Riley weddings, including my grandparents, parents, aunts & uncles, and cousins. The team went above and beyond in making our day run smoothly (even letting the bridesmaids cool off in the air conditioned van between photos and the ceremony). I would recommend Jo and her team to everyone- thank you for making our day so magical!!

ral design dreams come true! Jo and her team from the very beginning of planning took the time to really hear our vision and create something that still to this day gets compliments when we share our wedding album with people. By far one of the highlights of the entire wedding planning experience was how easy Jo and her team made everything! Recently I reached out to Jo to design a floral arrangement for a family member and immediately she remembered me, which just goes to show that even after almost 3 years since our wedding, Jo will always go above and beyond for her clients!

ic vision that we had in mind, and the resulting aesthetic could not have been more perfect. Jo exceeded our wildest expectations, going above and beyond to help out with some secondary tasks that we would not have ever expected of our florist, like helping chauffeur some extra rentals, working with the venue and the 3rd-party company directly, and making sure our special day went extremely smoothly. Go with Jo (& the excellent team at Country Gardeners Florists) - they will ensure that everything goes flawlessly and you have bright, beautiful color at your wedding!

ried to push large flower arrangements on us. We eventually decided to do our own center pieces because of the high price she was charging for our simple center pieces. On our wedding day, they broke a corsage and did not tell us, (we heard from other people) and one of our grandmothers was left without a corsage and was upset. She then lied to my mother and told her my grandmother refused it when offered. When we brought this up to her and inquired what happened to the last corsage she responded with a nasty email, complaining about setting up our centerpieces (which we did NOT know she did nor did we ask her to do, we were told venue staff would be doing it so I’m not sure why she did) and made a nasty comment about the way they looked and how she could have made it look better. The flowers we received were beautiful but definitely not worth the attitude we received.

working within our budget. She is so creative and is always looking for ways to make your wedding unique and exactly what you want. She let us come visit multiple times before our wedding to discuss flowers, work on seating charts and even held calls with us to continue to work on ideas for months leading up. She is so easy to get along with, and is there for every step of the process.

less. There was nothing that we needed to worry about and Jo and her team just made everything happen. Stuff just magically appeared where they needed to be and looked amazing. - Very respectful about budget and transparent about pricing throughout. Also made a huge effort to reuse stuff that was used for the rehearsal dinner for the reception and she brought the arch from the ceremony up to the reception which served as a beautiful backdrop behind the sweetheart table. - Takes pride in their work - if there is something that the Country Gardeners team sees that’s not up to their standards, they will call it out and make sure it gets fixed even if it’s not strictly florals. A few folks from her team happened to be around when it was about 30 minutes before my wife was about to walk down the aisle and they were looking at the dress to make sure it looked good. I would 100% recommend Jo and her team. For couples getting married at Interlaken in particular, booking Country Gardeners should be a no brainer - they know the venue inside and out and there is a reason they are there all of the time.

has incredible ideas to make your vision come to life. No detail goes unnoticed with Jo and her team. Great quality and a pleasure to work with - highly recommend!

very step. She’s really creative, so honest and is not looking to spend your money unnecessarily. Everything was absolutely perfect. We can’t recommend her and her team highly enough thank you for making my daughter’s wedding so truly spectacular.!🩷

we really had no idea what we were doing! Her and her team went above and beyond and made the space look gorgeous - beyond what we had ever expected. They were super timely day of for set up and even let us keep the decor and florals set up for our brunch the following morning. Thank you to you, Jo, and to your whole team! We can't wait to keep buying our Christmas wreaths from you all year after year. :)

s the customer experience. Jo was so easy and fun to work with and immediately gained our trust. We didn't come to the table with many concrete ideas and so Jo walked us through several options to help us arrive at our perfect flowers/table set up. Jo was also willing 24/7 to talk options or even hop in her car to go deal with something to make our experience better (we don't live in the area so this was huge). I strongly recommend Country Gardeners Florist for any wedding.

anemones and I didn't want too much orange. I put my trust into Jo to work with my very limited requests and use her creative discretion to come up with the rest. Jo listened to me ramble and change my mind a thousand times, which to the average person wouldn't have many any sense, but Jo pulled it all into a cohesive idea that I could only have dreamt of. The flowers and table arrangements were stunning. Beyond that, Jo's team worked so seamlessly setting everything up and moving it to the reception area after the ceremony. They went above and beyond, including transporting the entire bridal party back to our getting ready area in their large van after we took photos before the ceremony. There was a time in wedding planning in which I thought I could have DIYed florals AND decor, and it was worth every penny to not have to endure the stress of doing it on my own. I can't imagine my wedding without Jo and her team.

based on my Pinterest boards and made great suggestions based on flower options that fit my theme but would also be the best choices based on our July wedding date. Her extensive knowledge of flowers provided invaluable advice that ensured beautiful arrangements and optimizing the budget. Jo was also very helpful with the overall flow and decor for the tables. She was fair and honest about pricing and decor options (for example, I bought napkins rather than rent and printed my own table cards but used her frames). Jo and her team know the Interlaken and the Millbrook school chapel well so they were able to easily and quickly assess what we needed and had excellent suggestions for meaningful details that made the day even more magical. Jo and her team love what they do, are incredibly knowledgeable and care deeply about their clients and events. I know that they did everything they could to make the space perfect and they did. From the stunning table escapes, chapel flowers, bouquets to the perfectly placed golden retriever on the wedding cake. I would choose them hands down for any future event and strongly recommend them for everything but weddings in particular.

even better than we could have imagined. Jo is so incredibly knowledgeable and understood my preferences and vision after just one meeting with her. I highly recommend Country Gardeners Florist for any wedding or event!

and help execute it! They also made it simple to make changes along the way as it was needed. They worked well within the budget we gave them and found ways to help us save cost which is always a huge plus when wedding planning. The communication especially the week leading up to then the day of the wedding was amazing and the florals was something I had no concern with the day of because I knew Jo and her team had it all ready to go! The team at Country Gardeners Florist is so knowledgeable and as someone who does not know much about flowers they were able to take the few images I had and make something I fell In love with, I can’t imagine working with anyone else for our floral needed and can’t recommend them enough!

tive and talented, so easy and a pleasure to work with. Jo created a magical space-everything the bride wanted and more! I highly recommend country gardeners florist for any event!

ideas into a perfect reality. She pivoted when we had a change of heart and guided us with practical directions each step on the way. Her knowledge of and affection for Lion Rock instilled extra excitement. We applaud Jo's talents and praise the work of her entire team. Our hope is that each successive wedding season brings as much happiness to the families as Jo brought to ours.

and her team extremely knowledgeable and creative, but they are also friendly, personable and down-to-earth, which made working with them genuinely fun. From the moment I met Jo, I knew I was in good hands and trusted her lead and distinctive eye. She has a “can-do” attitude, and went above and beyond to bring my floral inspiration to life while staying within budget. One of the best details were the trees that her team installed in our tent (pics attached) which made the reception feel so warm and enchanting! Everyone loved them. They also have an amazing assortment of props/table decor at their shop in Millerton, NY, and Jo helped me choose the best options based on my color palette and theme. After working with them, it’s very clear why Jo and the Country Gardeners Florist team are so well-respected in the Northwest CT and Dutchess County area. We’re so incredibly thankful for their service and everything they did to make our wedding absolutely beautiful! I can’t recommend them enough!!

so Jo didn't just drop off the flowers and leave, no no! She waited at the venue until a few minutes before I walked down the aisle to set up the florals so they wouldn't die in the intense heat. She made sure everything was perfect. Not only this, but she helped with other things as well. Jo went above and beyond. IF you are thinking about hiring her for your wedding or event, please do! You will not be disappointed! She will blow your expectations right out of the water!

essional in all aspects of floral design. From the beginning stages of conception to the final product, Jo help create the most beautiful wedding. I highly recommend Country Gardeners for any event!

statement. She is beyond knowledgeable of all things flowers, as well as our venue. We totally trusted Jo and she exceeded all expectations. You get a florist and a voice of reason when you hire Jo.

d beautiful flower arrangements. Not only did they decorate our ceremony and reception spaces, but they also added some final touches to our cake! Jo even gave us a tour of her flower farm and provided valuable recommendations for our big day. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Country Gardener Florist to any couple looking for a talented and dedicated florist!

also did the florals for our rehearsal dinner. She and her team made everything so easy and they completely nailed my "English Garden" theme. She was so easy to work with and incredibly receptive to feedback. We also loved that we had access to her really deep inventory of vases/candles etc that were available for us to rent for our events- this made our budget go so much further! We still swing by her shop when we are visiting and I would 1000% recommend her services to anyone else.

about flowers and will help you choose flowers that are perfect for the season and temperature. Her team went above and beyond for the set up at The Preston Barn. They were there to help us with all the little details and I really appreciated that. We met with Jo three times and she listened to what we wanted, showed us examples, and worked within our budget. We are so glad we chose Country Gardeners Florist to do our wedding.

d all of the floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception. No detail was left to chance and it all flowed beautifully!!! We were literally thrilled. Plus the ladies were so beyond wonderful to all of us, it made it a a true joy. Huge thanks for making my daughter and son in laws vision and dreams come true!!!

r to determine precisely what seasonal flowers would capture our aesthetic. She was easy to work with and reduced our stress levels immeasurably with her confidence and ability. The flowers she selected were gorgeous, tastefully arranged and added the magic touch to our day. Her execution felt personal and bespoke. Without a doubt, we will be working with Country Gardeners again for future events.

son and that would be best at the Lion Rock venue and within our budget. The outcome was stunning and our guests are still complimenting us!

dding I wanted a moody boho vibe, and wow did she deliver. After seeing the bouquets and boutonnieres the day before the wedding I almost cried! Then we saw our arch and wedding tent which she made to look like a magical woodland forrest, insert jaw drop. We genuinely cannot say enough good things! Joanne and her team will make you feel like family all while you work to two together for formally!!

I had ideas, but wasn’t sure they best way to execute them. Everyone commented on how beautiful and elegant everything looked at my wedding from the tables to the trellis I got married under. They also added fresh lavender to the menus the day of which was a beautiful touch! It was really nice how they also were able to bring in candles and extras like that so I did not need to worry about it. I would 100% recommend Country Gardeners to anyone!

losely with us to execute exactly my daughter’s vision (tables that looked like wildflowers just picked from our meadows) and had suggestions along the way to help me get to the right look. She is highly professional, goes above and beyond to make sure everything is to your liking, and was present on the wedding day. It was a wedding for 185 people, so no small task to do the tables and tent. I highly recommend Country Gardeners for occasions of any size and complexity.

She was truly my favorite vendor and really helped bring together my vision. Her knowledge, expertise, and skill set made this day more perfect than what I could have imagined. She knew our venue like the back of her hand, had tons of decor for us to pick from, was willing to work within my budget, made note of the little details that I mentioned during our meetings, and ultimately created the most beautiful bouquets of flowers. She went above and beyond to make everything just right (e.g., going out to the farm and cutting branches at 6am the morning of our wedding just so they wouldn’t wilt because of the heat). She is truly a gem and I highly recommend her and her staff!

wedding’s flowers to be unique and different from the last. She truly understood my vision and created a flowery paradise. My flower inspiration was jewel tones and with an organic garden-like feel. I loved her flowers so much I texted her in the middle of my wedding and brought my bouquet with me to our honeymoon in Maine. At the end of our trip I ceremoniously launched the bouquet off the cliff rocks into the ocean. It was epic. Highly recommend Country Gardeners Florist. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

lew me away. Alanna listened to every idea I had and she put her own creative twist on things to make everything truly flawless. I will forever be dreaming about my wedding day. I cannot recommend this florist enough - you will not be disappointed.

look like a fairy tale. We can't say enough at how much we all loved the flowers/arrangements, but also the wedding arch and arrangement that hung below the chandelier. Absolutely spectacular. It was all above and beyond. Thank you all again.

ng her shop — it is one of our favorite memories from the planning process. She offered us drinks from a mini fridge and had a table-scape laid out based on the Pinterest board she'd asked me to make her. She showed us all the supplies she had for us to choose from, from table numbers to candle holders and lanterns to welcome signs, to baskets of moss, all available to borrow from her shop so we didn't have to go buy all the decor ourselves. After that meeting, I also went ahead and completely changed my mind on the vibe I was hoping for, sent her a bunch of different photos, and she got it and then absolutely nailed it on our weekend. The arrangements were colorful, celebratory, joyful, everything I'd asked for with creative touches I never could've imagined. Also, late in the planning process, I said I'd like to do escort cards inside teeny tiny individual flower arrangements. She said she had 110 small vases we could use for that and then she just did it, like magic, bringing to life the exact idea I'd hoped for. We opted for a spider web of twinkle lights in the tent at our venue — Interlaken Inn — and because the couple getting married there the weekend prior also wanted them, we split the price, which I thought was so cool of her. The morning of the wedding was rainy, and Jo and her team moved the chuppah multiple times back and forth from the outdoor location to the rain location before we made the call to have the ceremony inside. It was clear they are willing to go the extra mile for their clients. We were lucky to have a pretty big flower budget, but it was clear that Jo and her team work magic within any parameters, and that they put a ton of passion into their work. I'd recommend her without caveat to everyone I know.

now all the details about our wedding. She listened to everything we wanted and created a vision for our wedding weekend. We stopped in the shop and couple of times, Jo would take the time to go over and modify any details. They decorated for our rehearsal dinner, put the decals on a vintage mirror we rented as a seating chart, decorated the arbor for the ceremony, they even moved the arbor after the ceremony up to the reception. They completely transformed the atrium for the reception for a beautiful boho vibe with twinkle lights, greenery, and white and taupe flowers. The team decorated our cake to go with the rest of the decor, put herbs on the menus at each seat, and did so much more! Jo had us stop in the day before the wedding to see all of the decor, the centerpieces, and the bouquets, and had us make any changes if needed. I was beyond impressed by the decor for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Jo and her team go above and beyond to make the whole venue cohesive with decor. They are extremely detail oriented and beyond talented. My husband now knows what “boho” is and loves pompas and cafe ole dahlias because of Jo. Our wedding was beyond beautiful and I will never forget it.

leading up to the wedding and Jo turned our vision into reality. It was a record breaking high on the day and the flowers still looked beautiful. Recommend for weddings!

my budget, and talked through several options with me so we could make the best choices and keep costs within my budget. The flowers were amazing! She also decorated our arch, and our sweetheart table. It was so fun to work with her and my mom and I loved visiting her shop.

ay brunch, we felt confident in their expertise and work each step of the way. We had our perfect winter wonderland wedding and we are so incredibly grateful! And to think there wasn’t even any real snow. We especially loved our trees that were lit for snow and the orbs floating above our dance floor. Thank you for making the MOST MAGICAL night come true! My bouquet is currently drying so I can cherish its beauty forever. We could not have asked for anything better and recommend them for any event! They are creative, kind and they will blow your mind! Our guests can’t stop raving about our flowers and decorations!

nd what I wanted our wedding to look like. The day of my wedding, everything was so stunning I almost lost it. I still can’t believe how perfect our day was, Jo really made our venue look magical.

me and completely nailed it. Thank you so much. I highly recommend Country Gardeners Florist for ANY of your florist needs! Thank you so much again for everything

o create the most magical space. She was also so familiar with our venue and went above and beyond to transform it into a wonderland. Everywhere we looked there was something beautiful. The tables, the huge greenery over the dance floor, the cake display, it went on and on. My daughter’s bouquet was a dream, and Jo even created a bow tie of succulents for the groom! Working with her was so easy, she was incredibly responsive and anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had. I would absolutely recommend Country Gardeners Florist, they really made our wedding a magical beautiful occasion.

the days leading up to the event, which was so exciting and fun. She included flowers for the aisle, the basket for our flower girl, and lent us the vases for the centerpieces at no extra cost. Just extremely creative, generous, and lovely -- and AFFORDABLE compared to other florists. We recommend them SO highly-- thank you Country Gardeners!

dding beautiful.

, flexible and helpful in bringing our wedding vision to life. We also had our dog in our wedding and Jo made such a fun collar and leash for him to wear!
