Located in beautiful Broadview Heights, Ohio, Country Lakes has been planning social and corporate gatherings since 1981. We offer the quaint charm of our spacious banquet rooms for gatherings of over 400 to our peaceful outdoor pavilion overlooking our heated pool for those more informal events planned during the summer. Country Lakes provides complete catering and bar service, plus tableware, glassware and fine selection of linen. Menus range from the more informal BBQ's to four course plated dinners plus customized menus for those out of the ordinary events.

m the windows captured our desired look. The gorgeous outdoor setting which included a pond and 2 gazebos was perfect for wedding party pictures as well. In addition to that, our guests loved the beautiful outdoor porch. The exceptional service provided by the entire team at Country Lakes was what really made the experience unforgettable, especially Adela. They were responsive, accommodating, and made the entire planning process smooth. Adela was extremely flexible and attentive to our needs. For example, she made sure to obtain special ingredients for our signature cocktails and had the bartenders make them before the cocktail hour started to avoid a long line at the bar. Also, Adela allowed us to borrow pieces of Country Lakes’ table decor and mix them with our own items. On the wedding day, the service staff’s attention to detail was impeccable, and they ensured the table decor was exactly as we requested. Our timeline was followed in every way. Guests were impressed by the delicious food and the seamless flow of the evening. We especially appreciated how the staff went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions and handled a last-minute change to our seating chart with great flexibility. Each staff member went above and beyond to provide great assistance. In particular, they kept asking my husband and I how we thought the night was going and if we needed anything. My husband and I highly recommend Country Lakes for couples seeking a beautiful reception venue on the inside and out as well as a flexible, welcoming, and efficient staff. We could not have been happier with our experience with Country Lakes! Our wedding reception truly went as smoothly as possible because we had it at Country Lakes.

re looking for. We wanted to do everything on site (ceremony, pictures, reception, catering and booze) and this venue made that more than possible. It sits on a huge lot with a pond, beautiful gazebo, and trees that looked absolutely breathtaking in the fall. The Gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and our pictures turned out stunning. The reception hall is equally as beautiful. It had everything already inside that you would typically have to pay extra for (ceiling drape twinkle lights, up wall lighting, etc.). I highly recommend getting their highest package (which is super affordable anyway) as you then are paired with a company where you pick everything out for inside (table clothes, runners, chargers, napkins, CENTERPIECES!, and more). The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the bartender was amazing. It’s worth every penny and having everything included takes a huge chunk of stress out of your planning. Speaking of stress… the best part of the deal is the day of coordinator, Kim. Talk about alleviating stress- Kim was a Godsend. She was easy to work with, accommodating, understanding, creative and GOT THINGS DONE. I didn’t have a doubt in my mind that things would end up perfect because of her magic behind the scenes. My Father had a stroke a month prior to the wedding and at times, I was going to cancel the wedding all together. Kim kept us positive, became like family supporting us through it all, ensuring things would be okay, and making our day everything we hoped for. Our day was perfect because of her. The owner, Adela was equally as kind and supportive. She even greeted my father as he arrived to ensure he could get inside okay in his wheelchair. So bottom line, if you’re even considering this place? Book them. Book them now!

one call away with an answer to it. The catering staff was amazing and the bartender was awesome. Our guest enjoyed all the food and had so many compliments for the staff and bartender. It was such a great experiences and I would highly recommended!

e has done for us. She really has went above and beyond down to the last detail. I can't thank her enough for all of her help. She's always willing to answer any questions and goes out of her way. Run as fast as you can!! Find a better location. The owner Joyce is a rude and vindictive woman who gives the wedding industry a bad name. She is difficult to work with and cuts ...

corners at every turn. She was rude to our guests. The dinner was 2 hours late and the last to be served were the parents, grandparents and pastor of the bridal party. The guests were all trading stories of her rudeness to them. Each story was more appalling than the previous one. She locked guests out of the hall and refused entry to the hall until the bride arrived. Guests were standing in the parking lot waiting for the bridal party to arrive. It was embarrassing!!!

Overpriced and not accommodating. No outside products allowed into venue. Pretty setting, but have to purchase everything through them at a decent markup.

woman who disappeared leaving us to deal with the owner. Overall, I would describe her as incompetent and unfriendly. She had to be reminded about every pricing detail and still not did share our order correctly with her staff. Every "20 minute" meeting took more than 45 minutes, one time taking over 1 hr and 20 minutes because she forgot to mark our appointment down, even though she set it up. As we were finishing our reception she brought in another couple to look at the hall, which I thought was very unprofessional. Also, one of my bridesmaids was 13 weeks pregnant and nearly fainted. The owner yelled at her and her husband when he went to get water for her. She said that my friend should go drink from the hose! The owner was ALWAYS hard to deal with!! The food was only mediocre I highly recommend sampling some before deciding. Our ceremony was scheduled for the gazebo but due to weather it was moved to a porch, which was prefectly fine. It was comforting to know that we could have an outdoor venue but the convenience of an alternate spot if the weather turned. The service staff was wonderful. The bartender was phenomenal, helping guests as much as he could. The grounds were lovely, the service on our wedding day was great. But the owner is EXTREMELY hard to deal with and requires a lot of patience! Over

nd looking into other places at either same cost or half the cost once you add in all the added fees I could of had my venue where I originally wanted. The grounds are also not as nice as the internet portrayed them very ran down and out dated. Just take my advice and be CAREFUL when using this vendor.

al of trouble with Pam, the manager. Pam repeatedly would tell us one thing, but then later, she would tell us that what we wanted was not possible. For example, we met with her in February to go over our options and make some decisions. For dinner, we decided to give our guests an option between beef and chicken. I asked Pam if there could also be a vegetarian option. She said of course we could have a vegetarian option for our guests. However, after our response cards were printed, Pam claimed that we could not give our guests the option of a vegetarian dinner since we were already giving them a choice of beef or chicken. We either had to have our response cards reprinted, or we could pay extra money to keep the vegetarian option. We ended up paying extra to keep the option. This is just one example of many headaches that we encountered with Pam. Even though the day was wonderful, the months leading up to our wedding day were full of extra stress and headaches. If you decide to go with Country Lakes, my suggestion to you is to get everything in writing!
