lavors we chose were delicious and there were very few leftover slices at the end of the night! I think it is safe to say our family and friends loved the cake as well! we were sent home with an individually prepared mini/ top layer cake for our 1 yr anniversary (raspberry pound cake) and we can't wait to eat it again!

rite was the Strawberry flavor sponge! They had great customer service, and were very responsive to emails. Highly recommend!!

n we went to pick up our samples for our tasting. All of the samples were delicious. The process of designing our cake was so easy we emailed them some ideas we had. I had ordered like clay replicas of our dogs to include in the cake and we set up a time about a week before the wedding to drop off them and a color swatch of our wedding colors. The day of the wedding the cake arrived at the venue and they set it with our cake topper. It blow our minds, the design was exactly what I had envisioned. And it tasted so good.

sy and so much fun. On our trial day, they had everything prepared as soon as we walked through the door. They gave time for just the two of us to sit and try the cakes. We were able to look through pictures of past cakes that they did, so that we could decide want we wanted. Once Jerry sat down with us, the meeting took no time at all. We showed him a picture of what we liked and wanted. We discussed colors, textures, and flavors, and were on our way in under a half hour. We only met with him once because Brigalias and Jerry coordinated delivery, final head count, and all other day of details needed. The first time we saw our cake on our wedding day, our jaws dropped. It was absolutely incredible! The colors were perfect, our topper fit perfectly, and it came out exactly the way we imagined. The flavor was out of this world. The icing was not super sweet, but rather just sweet enough. We also got to choose a special flavor for our 1 year anniversary cake, which was boxed up prior to being delivered. This made it extremely easy to take home. Although he was chosen by default, I would also willingly choose this bakery for both quality and ease.

took a few pictures of what we liked and the owner took it from there. It was hard to pick our favorite flavors b/c they were all delicious! (We went with plain vanilla, 2 layers of raspberry swirl & chocolate chip.) We had a 4 tier cake, each layer a different flavor with a buttercream frosting. They were able to make a teal ombre cake that went from dark teal to barely white at the top & decorated how we discussed with flowers scattered around the tiers. It was absolutely breathtaking & was the focal point up on the dance floor in front of the head table. The venue staff were coming up & telling us that while they have seen ALOT of cakes, this was the most beautiful cake they had ever seen - which is always nice to hear. And the cake itself was absolutely delicious! It was the moistest pound cake I had ever had, and it lasted all night. If I lived closer to this bakery I would use them for every dessert need. Highly recommend them for your wedding cake!

rocess (who isn’t?!) and it was spectacular. The tasting was absolutely delicious and we decided on a cake flavor on the spot (raspberry pound cake). When we sat down for the consultation we had a few pictures and concepts of what we wanted and they were more than happy to accommodate every aspect we were thinking of. I went into my reception wary of how it turned out without seeing any pictures of it in process and I was astounded when I saw the final result. It was even better than any picture could ever make it look. I don’t think my jaw dropped as far or my eyes opened as wide even when I saw my groom that morning (sorry dear!). The taste was phenomenal, the look was exactly what we wanted, and our guests all loved it! My parents may have taken home half of it for themselves! A month after our wedding my new husband is still raving about that cake and saying that if the top tier isn’t as delicious on our one year anniversary that he may just go back and order a whole new cake.

think about another bakery. We LOVED THE flavors to choose from (our favorite was the Raspberry Swirl). We had a 4 layer cake and we were able to make each layer a different flavor AND we got our very own take home layer of our flavor choice! I showed them a picture of what we wanted and when I saw the cake I was so happy to see it was EXACTLY what I wanted!!!! Delicious and beautiful cake!

and Gallo Bakery. My fiancé (now husband) wanted a custom design. First, we went to Diane, whose samples were okay, not the tastiest, but okay. She seemed friendly in a stuck-up sort of way. She was going to charge us an additional $125 for the custom design. Because of the price, we decided to try the next bakery. Country Sweets in Woodbury = Yuck. Oh, the designs on the cakes are fabulous – but at the expense of taste. The frosting is almost pure lard, and the pound cake was super DRY (he told us that’s the way pound cake is supposed to be). Whatever. He was going to charge $100. Since we saw on Gallo Bakery’s website that their cakes don’t look professional-professional, I emailed Diane and told her we’d go with her. She emailed back and told me she decided to charge an additional $100 after she had written down a quoted price of $125. Whatever. We then decided to try Gallo’s Bakery in Mt. Laurel. Wow! The pound cake tasted SO GOOD and moist! The frosting was made with mostly butter, too, so even the frosting tasted good. When we asked her how much more for the custom design, she said it was FREE. At the reception, we noticed that the design wasn’t the greatest… but, all the guests raved how GREAT and TASTY the cake was. There were NO pieces of cake left!

what the picture looked like you could have fooled me! both my husband and I agree our cake could not have been any more gorgeous. we were in love!! we had a different flavor for each tier and it tasted unbelievable!!! I dont even really like dessert that much but this wedding cake is too good I keep pulling out the leftovers from my freezer. the buttercream frosting is magnificent. this bake shoppe is just a cute quaint little family owned and operated, I am so glad we had the opportunity to use them. I still look at pictures of my cake and I cant believe how perfect it turned out!

e imagined and it was DELICIOUS. We had the marble and also the red velvet, with buttercream icing. The red velvet was so moist. The next morning my husband was laughing at me because I couldn't stop talking about it. The top of the cake, which we had taken home to freeze for our anniversary....well...I ate it for breakfast the day after! Highly recommended. GREAT PRICE TOO!

t modern. Very old fashioned. The cake was included in the reception package so I had to use them. So I picked simple. I asked for a few big icing flowers to be put on the cake instead of fresh flowers. The did it but they were so small. The good thing was that they were able to give me three flavors in one cake. There service was good but they did not fit my style. If you like modern style cakes do not use them.

ne! It was much more beautiful than I expected! When we went for our cake tasting, some of the cakes we tasted were very dry, but our actual cake the day of the wedding wasn't dry at all! It was delicious and moist! We had 3 different flavors chocolate chip, pound cake, and rasperry swirl! Our only complaint was that we were limitted on options for types of cake -- ideally, we would have loved to do a red velvet cake with a cheesecake icing, but that wasn't one of the options offered in conjunction with the venue we were using. Also, we did have to pay an extra fee for the cascade of Fall flowers on the cake, in addition to the cost that was already factored into our price per head with our venue (Masso's Catering), but in the end it was worth every penny because the cake was beautiful!!

this bakery because it came with the package from my venue. When we went for our consultation, we were not even offered a cake tasting. And on top of that the manager was pretty nasty.

t was a pretty nice cake, was delivered as promised, and tasted fairly good. It was included by our reception hall, so we didn't choose it, but it turned out all right
