Ruined my event. Bad attitude.
Terrible experience. Unprofessional. An absolute nightmare to work with. Marcella is just in it to charge ridiculous prices and take your money.
If you want your wedding to be full of last minute aggravation, this is for you!
Do not use this vendor for any event ever! She will ask for full payment up front, and then will ask for additional money at a later date. She will then lie about everything. She s...
cammed my family member, and still has not paid back the money she owes, nor has she given back the alcohol she stole. RUN fast away from this vendor!
I hired Marcella Mcweeney with Couple of Bartenders for a party I was having. Marcella was responsive to the point of texting me every day to every other day pushing me to book her...
services. Other reviews have said this but I interpreted it to mean she would be very involved in my event. Once hired she wanted the entire amount up front (the first red flag).
She then asked me if I wanted her to purchase and bring liquor for the event which required more money. She came back to me two more times the following day to ask for additional amounts of money (more red flags). She promised she’d send a receipt for this liquor purchase which I never received and instead I got a typed list of liquors and prices (red flag). After this many red flags and the growing uneasiness I was experiencing with the entire thing I asked her for the liquor we had purchased prior to the event. I planned two separate times to meet her to pick up the alcohol and both times, the night before, she had an excuse of the liquor being locked in a storage unit to which she had no access.
At this point I terminated our agreement realizing what was happening and had no confidence she would even show up for the event. This is three weeks prior to the event. She stated she was “in no position to refund the event”. There were a few back and forths giving her time to get the money back to me, but it has been a month now with no refund.
I also highly encourage anyone thinking of hiring her to google her name first.
We recently had the pleasure of working with a remarkable team from Couple of Bartenders for our event. From their punctual arrival and meticulous set-up to their friendly and enga...
ging demeanor with our guests, they exceeded our expectations. Their skill in crafting a wide array of cocktails was evident throughout the evening, and they even made a quick run to replenish our dwindling tonic supply, ensuring everyone enjoyed their favorite gin and tonic.
Not only did Couple of Bartenders skillfully arrange the bar, but they also displayed an exceptional level of attentiveness to our guests, effortlessly gliding through the event space to cater to everyone's beverage preferences. As the event wound down, they graciously assisted with the post-event cleanup, transitioning the festivities from the outdoor setting to indoors. Their dedication and professionalism as a team were unparalleled, leaving us looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with them again for our upcoming events. I highly recommended a Couple of Bartenders for their excellent service and expertise in the art of mixology!

situation. She stayed calm and jumped right in to help us and make things happen. Throughout the process she was super knowledgeable, responsive, and beyond helpful with great ideas! They unfortunately weren’t able to host our event due to restrictions at our venue, however they gave us a full refund of our deposit per our contract—true and honest professionals. I can’t say enough great things about A Couple of Bartenders, they are such real, down to earth, hard-working people and do whatever it takes to make your day special!
