I saw her photos through Facebook, and then I saw a photo book at a venue when I was touring and knew her photo style was exactly what I wanted, then I met her and instantly clicked and knew she was someone I wanted to capture my wedding day. Throughout planning my big day Courtney had many helpful tips and was very responsive back to every e-mail. She helped with putting together my timeline and helped with other vendors to book, just everything. And then COVID hit. Courtney, I felt, was by myside the entire time as my wedding day morphed into something else. At first, since I was end of June, I wanted to hold out for the big wedding, and as the phases were announced I knew it was time to adjust things. I had never been to an elopement so I had no idea how to even start planning it. Well Courtney helped every step of the way. Even when my make-up artist backed out and Courtney saved the day and gave me another list of potential artist to reach out to and I found the perfect one. So perfect because not only did I look great but she also fixed my dress when the claps on it broke (make sure you have your sew kit with you ladies!). Now as you can see an elopement was never my “dream.” I wanted the big day, all the people, all the wows, all the things. But it meant more to me to marry my Husband then all the things I wanted, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Everyone says your wedding day goes by so fast, and it does, even with having a total of 10 people. But I can tell you that I made connections and memories with each of my family members that I would not have had if I had the big wedding. If COVID has taught us anything, it is we don’t know what tomorrow brings, I am so glad I have these memories with my family because who knows what’s going to happen by next year. I also actually got to spend some quality time with my husband the day we got married and wasn’t bustling between tables to make sure we said hi to everyone. The day was about us. I originally wanted a first look to be more efficient with photos but since it was a small ceremony we ended up being able to have the first time we saw each other be as I walked down the trail towards him, and I still get goose bumps thinking about it. Our photos are breathtaking as well, not only did we have Courtney but since we got married at Rosario Beach the back drop was stunning (it was also the location of one of our first dates). We will have photos that we never would have gotten if we had the Big Day at the Big Venue. As for what my plan is for all the money I have down for all my vendors, I get to have the BIGGEST 1 year anniversary party! I get to see my husband dressed in his suit again, by the way I am so happy he bought his suit because he looked AMAZING! AND I get to wear my wedding dress again. We get to celebrate with ALL of our family and ALL of our friends with less pressure next year. It will really be about celebrating with our guest. Everyone says your first year of marriage is the toughest, and we get to celebrate it with everyone and I cannot wait.

ssful process of rescheduling a wedding, she has been with us throughout the entire process and has been so supportive and flexible. With the future so unknown, my now husband and I Had a small marriage ceremony with family and close friends at Rosario Park in Anacortes. What was originally suppose to be our engagement photo session became our wedding photos number one. (We hope to a have bigger celebration in 2021). She took such gorgeous photos of all the details, our personalities and you can tell she gives 100% with every couple she interacts with . She is so personable, and not only do my husband and I love her but my whole family! I highly recommend everyone to book her! You will don’t be disappointed, seriously ! :)

ing due to COVID-19 and decided to elope with immediate family and siblings only. Courtney was very flexible, positive, and supportive of our decision to change everything with the situation at hand. She is great at communication and took the time to get to know myself and my husband. She was very caring, loving and fun! Courtney suggested an elopement spot to us and it ended up being one of the most beautiful places we had ever seen in the mountains. On our elopement day Courtney made us feel very comfortable and we had THE BEST DAY EVER. We got our photos back 3 weeks later and we are so happy with the end result. The quality of her photos are some of the best we have ever seen. We 100% recommend her to everyone and will definitely book her again for future photography needs in our family.

I searched google images with 'Seattle" in the search bar to find the most stunning, standout photographs and track them to their photographer. When I noticed names come up more than once, I started a list. It was a long list, but over several weeks I narrowed it down. I tended toward "fine art photography," I discovered, and found myself reading articles about photographers’ use of natural light, etcetera… But finally, when I met Courtney in person, I felt completely at ease.
