Courtney Carolyn Photography

re looking to get from our photographer. She and her husband made everyone feel so comfortable and it really showed in our photos. My wife and I both come from big, loud, opinionated families, but Courtney was able to mange the chaos with ease (while making us all laugh in the process). She was invisible at the ceremony and reception, and yet somehow captured every moment, big and small. [insert joke about wanting to use her again for my next wedding....]

love posed photos, feeling awkward just standing there smiling, but I didn't feel so strange having already done the engagement shoot with them. It made me so much more comfortable to get to know Courtney and Scott before the wedding. I was a little worried about our venue being so dark, that pictures wouldn't be as good, but Courtney and Scott worked with the light to get AMAZING results!! I don't regret a second of the time spent working with them, and am so happy that these are the photos that will be in my life and family for years to come!

so much stress. She helped us make a wedding time line and kept us on top of things throughout the day so everything ran smoothly. She is also a joy to work with because she is just so sweet and invested in what she does. Sometimes I can be picture shy, but my husband and I were totally comfortable around her! Our pictures turned out AMAZING and soooo many of our friends and family complimented us on our photos. Choosing Courtney was one of the best wedding decisions my husband and I made, you should choose her too!

nner. She was with us every step of the way through the planning process and played a big role in creating a magical experience for us on our wedding day. Courtney continually goes above and beyond to create a personalized, high-quality experience for her clients, even after the wedding day is over!

are amazing and creative!!!

gagement photos and wedding day). My husband and I grew to love Courtney as more then a photographer, but as a friend. She fit with our personalities perfectly, which helped a lot through the photo process. She blended herself into the wedding day seamlessly, capturing every important detail without being noticed. She was extremely organized, and provided a minute by minute timeline of the day and photo slots. Which was extremely helpful, as we were then formulate our wedding timeline, off hers! That was a BIG HELP! I wish I could give courtly 100 stars, that's how deserving and perfect she is!

ing day photography ran very smoothly and on time. She didn't leave us guessing at any step of the process and set clear expectations through the planning process, including when we would receive our photos. In fact, we even received them a little bit early :) maybe this was due to our wedding day being earlier in the "wedding season". She was very easy going and relaxed during the day and handled small (unavoidable) hiccups with ease. Courtney's fiance (now husband!) was her assistant and second shooter for our first look and ceremony. I thought it was so sweet that they worked as a team (and did so very well!). Thanks to Courtney, my husband and I now have some really wonderful photos that will help us remember and relive such a special day in our lives!

amazing photography, that brings you back to that very moment every time you look at it, working with her throughout the whole process is easy and assuring. I knew that I was in good hands and Courtney (and her wonderful assistant Scott) would take care of anything I needed. On top of photography Courtney is an amazing person who is caring and truly wants to make sure that she is delivering what you want on your day. Her knowledge of the wedding circuit extends beyond photography as she even helped me plan the schedule of my entire wedding day and she recommended my DJ too! Working with Courtney was an absolute pleasure and we look forward to working with her again.

t with her and Scott, it sealed the deal. I loved how relaxed and informative the meeting was and how flexible we could be with make our engagement and wedding package work for us. The examples of the albums were beautiful and I knew I wanted one for our future home. Even though we had a year and a half to our wedding, Courtney was checking in and made the most awesome timeline for the wedding day. It was helpful to have her input with timing everything and just knowing she'd be on top of things to help me on the wedding day was a relief. Her positive attitude was extremely helpful when we had to stay at a photo location for longer than expected due to our bus breaking down and we made the location work to get the most photos possible! I would highly recommend Courtney and Scott!

oothly. I instantly knew who I wanted as our photographer when we got engaged. The first time we actually sat down and talked with Courtney and Scott, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders because I knew she would take care of everything. I would say well I have a concern about something, and Courtney would instantly stay "I actually was going to talk about that". She is so on top of everything, so organized, and it really shows. I did not have to worry at all about the photographer side because I knew Courtney was on top of everything, and she would be reaching out by a certain date. She is trust worthy, honest, loving, hardworking, and is going to make sure that everything is perfect. ALSO, she takes the most beautiful pictures, and I am so blessed to have them forever.

It's been over a year since our wedding and every time I walk past the wedding photos we have hanging around the house I can't help but smile, they are all so beautiful. Courtney, is more than just a photographer, she is a wedding planner. She took the time to help me plan out our wedding timeline, and really helped to create our day to be what it was. When looking through her blog, I fell in love with the her style of photography. Everything was romantic and you could feel the emotion behind them. As a bigger girl, it can be intimidating when you are looking at photographers, but with Courtney's blog you could tell she spends time to get to know every couple she photographs and works with them. My husband isn't a huge fan of crowds, and was dreading the wedding day, and having to be the center of attention. Courtney took that into consideration and would grab us through out the day so we had our own alone time. One of my most cherished moment's through out the day, was when my husband and I were taking our pictures, and Courtney asked him to tell me the time he thought I was most beautiful, He whispered in my ear "I can't name just one, you are always beautiful to me". If it wasn't for Courtney, that moment wouldn't have happened. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Courtney. It was truly stupendous.

ing a wedding photographer, we got a photographer, a mini wedding day coordinator, and a friend! Courtney from the start answered ALL concerns and questions we had. I am a big worrier and had many “what if” concerns. What if there is an emergency and you can’t be there? What if it rains? What if our family members create drama? I’m sure I drilled Courtney with a million questions and she had a plan or solution for every single one! What a relief for us! During the process of planning Courtney kept in touch, checking in on details of the wedding, how we were doing emotionally and if we needed anything. The day of our wedding it was such a relief to have Courtney there. The second she walked in it made the day feel real! Our entire day was perfect, thanks to her! Our pictures are timeless and help us remember the day perfectly. At the end of the day the only thing you have left to remember this special and magical day are the pictures (and your husband/wife of course!!) you can’t put a price on those memories or the experience that comes with working with Courtney!

f the camera but they made me feel so comfortable and confident. And all of the photos are amazing! If you like the "light & bright" look, Courtney is for you! She takes such timeless and classic photos that I know my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime.

would provide us with quality work. I also wanted a photographer who would be easy to work with. Nothing sounds more awkward to me than a cold stranger taking romantic photos of you and your spouse. Courtney takes her job to the next level. She is so personable with her clients and truly gets to know them before working together. When we took our photos, it was like catching up with an old friend. Not only is her personality sweet and friendly, but her work is just breathtaking. When we got our sneak peek photos back, I was just blown away by how beautiful they were. I literally counted down the days until we received the entire gallery! If you are a newlywed-to-be, you will never regret your photographer decision if you go with Courtney!

nd on top of things she is! She is the type to just send a check-in email to see how everything is going and if you have any questions. She makes you and your fiance feel like the only engaged couple in the world. She is so attentive and quick to respond to emails. On our wedding day Courtney and her fiance, Scott, were so organized. I was a bit behind schedule getting my makeup done on my wedding day, Courtney realized how rushed I felt and came over to tell me not to worry and explained to me the other timeline options we had! It put me at ease and made me feel so much less stressed. I just can't say enough wonderful things about Courtney Carolyn Photography. One of the only things you will have after the most important day of your life are the photos - go with Courtney!

so much fun! i would highly recommend her!

makes an effort to get to know you and your style before the big day. I highly recommend her!

ey’s organizational skills, attention to detail, and sincere interest in making our wedding day the best it could possibly be. We did not ever have to worry about missing things in terms of wedding photography, because Courtney was on top of it! She even helped with other aspects, such as our overall timeline for the day. On our wedding day, Courtney captured so many perfect moments – both planned shots and plenty of candid, unplanned shots too. All of the photos and the photo album that Courtney provided us were so, so beautiful and such high quality. We are extremely happy with the whole experience and we would 100% recommend Courtney. We also did an engagement session with Courtney before the wedding and highly recommend that too. It was a great opportunity to get to know her and get comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures turned out so great as well and we were able to use them for several wedding-related things! Thank you Courtney for everything - you definitely helped make our wedding day a success! :)

than happy to travel to our wedding destination 3 hours away! When we met her for our consultation I could tell she loves her job. She is very enthusiastic and easy to get along with. Courtney is one of those rare people who is extremely organized and helpful with planning your timeline, but she is also easy going and able to go with the flow when things inevitably don't go as planned. It was great having a photographer who helped ease my wedding stress instead of adding to it! We recently received all of our wedding photographs... they are amazing. We can't stop smiling!

h was a great way to see her photography style and for us as a couple to get comfortable in front of the camera. As we prepared for the wedding, the thing I was so happy about was how organized Courtney was in helping us prepare for our wedding photos. She had us fill out a worksheet and she created a timeline to make sure that we would fit in all of our photos that we wanted on our wedding day. I couldn't be happier with how organized she was, which lead to a great photo session the day of the wedding. Her assistant, Scott, helped to make things go smoothly with all the family photos, making sure our timing was good, and even helping to fluff out my train on my wedding dress. Courtney was amazing to work with throughout the entire process, answering all our questions and concerns. We absolutely love our photos and have received many compliments on how great they turned out. I couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Courtney, as the photographer plays such an important role on your wedding day. I would recommend Courtney to any other bride as she is so friendly, talented, and easy to work with! :)

thing we needed in terms of a timeline for the day of, a list of photographs that were "must-haves" for us, and answers to all of our questions. She walked us through everything step by step and the timeline was invaluable on our wedding day so we knew exactly where we needed to go and what she needed from us. She structured us to make sure we had amazing pictures, but gave us the freedom to be ourselves and let our relationship shine through the pictures. Our final pictures are simply breathtaking! Even after the wedding, Courtney posted sneak peeks right away, and we got the final pictures quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Courtney Carolyn Photography. She captured each moment perfectly, and we couldn't have asked for a better photography experience. THANK YOU!!!

us feel like we were well taken care of the whole time! We've only seen a couple pictures from the wedding so far, but they are so gorgeous and she is such a talented photographer, I cannot wait to see more! Her and Scott were so great on the wedding day, any hiccups throughout the day, they just rolled with the punches. I am so glad we hired Courtney, she was absolutely wonderful to work with! I cannot say enough good things about her, I would recommend Courtney Carolyn Photography to anyone!

rovided everything under the moon for my husband & I. She took the time to get to know us on a personal level as well as took interest in our love story. I had many conversations with Courtney on things that I liked for an engagment shoot but left it up to her to do the magic and guide us in the right direction. During our shoot, my husband & I felt so comfortable and had such a wonderful time with Courtney. Our pictures turned out FABULOUS and we were thrilled to have her capture our wedding day as well. I have never gotten so many compliments on photographs in my life by friends and family. The day of our wedding was absolutely magical and I can't thank Courtney enough for capturing our day and giving us beautiful memories to keep. I had tears in my eyes after viewing the blog post of our wedding. It was incredible that she captured not only our day from start to finish, but wrote some very beautiful words as well. She continues to amaze me with each post that I see. I wouldn't dream of having anyone else photograph my husband and I. Thank you Courtney for being a fabulous photographer and friend to Alan & I. We hold you dear to our heart, xox!

ere always immediately put at ease. She is so very talented, and her work is impeccable. She also is very organized, which made our wedding day photography seamless. Courtney is so wonderful and I cannot recommend her highly enough to photograph your big day!

s was the best of everything. For the number of hours she does for the price, it's absolutely the best deal I could find, especially with the quality work she does.(she even has a helper which normally costs more) Courtney is very organized and plans the entire photography timeline to a tee; from getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception. She worked with me in every way so we were always on the same page, and constantly kept in touch. The photos turned out amazing, even better than I imagined. My wedding was captured perfectly. When I saw the photos I was in shock, half the time I didn't even know she was there taking the pictures-she blended in so well and there weren't any distractions as far as camera flashes or her "getting in the way". Aside from being a great photographer, she is super friendly and nice and just a great person overall. She truly loves what she does. I can't say enough how happy I was(and my husband..and everyone for that matter!)with how well she did and how great she was at capturing every important detail...also all of the fun and memorable moments of everyone laughing and dancing and having a great time. I would recommend her to anyone and will absolutely hire her again for any of my photography needs! (I know i'll need more in the future!) Thank you again Courtney, I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!! Everything was amazing!

well. Once I had spoken with Courtney over the phone, I immediately knew she would be a great fit. She is very easy going, pleasant, and professional at the same time - a perfect package. Her payment options are a great bonus, she is priced very reasonably- and the payment process is very easy. She is flexible and easy to contact, which was a great draw for me. She was so very helpful throughout the entire process- providing helpful advice through her blogs, and a wedding day timeline for her photography services, it was one less thing I had to worry about on our big day. Being that she is the owner and photographer, she really is dedicated to her reputation and clients satisfaction with the photos she provides. She took the time to get to know our personal background and stories, it really does make a difference that she truly cared about knowing us, I feel it helped her capture us in a natural way. We never felt awkward or as if we had to be posed, we felt free to enjoy our wedding day in the way we wanted. Courtney captured all the moments from the day we were truly looking forward to keeping forever, as well as the moments we could not witness in person (as the day flew by!) We have received many many compliments from the photos from both family and friends, Courtney is truly talented! I would recommend her to any bride and groom to be!

ed out absolutely beautiful, and my husband and I are so grateful. This is a highly skilled photographer at a great price. Thank you so much for bringing our memories to life! Will be recommending to family and friends, and will certainly be calling her again to document our next major event.
