Courtney was on our preferred vendor list from of venue. After chatting for a little with a couple of photographers it was an easy choice to go with Courtney for our big day. Court...
ney is so personable and easy to talk to and she really just clicks with her brides and knows how to ease them into poses when like myself I am not used to being in front of the camera. When we first did our engagement shoot with her we were blown away by the photos we couldn't believe how perfect they were! Now fast forward to the wedding holy cow, I cried when going through them because she captured the most candid and special moments from the entire wedding. Day of she is incredibly organized with a timeline that makes everything run smooth and chaos free and yet flexible enough for an added family photo or two. Everyone from the reception was captured in a photo which is so priceless to us. We could not recommend Courtney enough for any special photoshoot you would be looking for!!!
Courtney is a beyond talented photographer and editor! She got our wedding photos back to us in 4 days! No waiting months to relive your magical day!! Beyond her talent she has a c...
alming energy to put any nervous bride at ease and ensures you look as natural and perfect as possible. I will be recommending her for years to come! Thank you, Courtney!!
I can't say enough good things about Courtney. After doing so much research for photographers for our destination wedding in Key Largo, FL, we were so excited to find Courtney. Sh...
e was very responsive from the beginning and answering ALL of my [million] questions that I had. My review is about our engagement photos specifically as our wedding isn't until May 2018. We did our engagement session at Fort Zachary Taylor (per her suggestion, which she has many good ones!) in Key West. We happened to schedule our shoot on a particularly busy day which mean traffic was heavy. We all traveled down to Key West and we almost missed our shoot but Courtney was so calm and reassuring the entire time (meaning she'll make my wedding day a breeze)! We all ended up making it and she was SO nice. My fiance is an especially tough critic as he hates organized photography but Courtney made the shoot fun. Her turnaround time was amazing! We got a sneak peak within days and then the entire album shortly after. The photos turned out absolutely stunning. So not only is she super friendly and fun to work with, she's the best photographer and we can't wait for our wedding photos!
Words are not enough to express how thankful I am that Courtney Jones Photography was our wedding photographer!
Reasons I ADORE Courtney Jones Photography:
1. Courtney worked so h...
ard to get to know us and capture our day exactly in the style we wanted. I loved our long distance skype meetings!
2. She had the most fun and delightful presence. I loved being called beautiful and gorgeous all day long by her! :) She kept the boys from feeling awkward about the million pictures, and the ladies had a blast! She also gave great advice, like having the gentlemen put their hands in their pockets in certain pictures- it all really made a difference!
3. I could not believe her pricing! She was the least expensive of all the photographers we looked at, and by FAR the best. And on top of that, she even includes a free engagement session! We had already taken an engagement session when we met her, but having another "engagement session" the week of the wedding was such a fun way to get to know Courtney.
4. Courtney is a light magician. She captures natural beauty and stunning moments.
5. Waiting months for wedding pictures is too long. Courtney turned around our engagement and our wedding pictures so quickly!
6. Our wedding pictures were featured on MyWedding.com and our engagement pictures have been featured on NearlyWeds.com - This woman is so talented!!
I hope every bride is as happy as I am with their pictures and with their experience- and I truly could not think of anyone better than Courtney. Thank you Courtney for capturing our wedding moments so beautifully!! We will treasure these pictures for a lifetime.

nt and wedding pictures, and we were blown away by the quality. Not only is she a great photographer, she is also uber responsive, detail oriented, and spends a good amount of time getting to know your vision for your pictures before the event. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her services!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with Courtney J Photo and Courtney throughout the entire process! I live in Chicago and had a destination wedding in ...
Ft. Lauderdale in February 2015. After researching various photographers in the area through websites, pictures, reviews, and phone conversations, I was 100% set on using Courtney J Photo. Courtney was absolutely amazing to work with! On top of being a great photographer, she was super easy to talk to, professional, reliable, accommodating, and organized throughout the planning and the actual day.
Less than two weeks after my wedding, Courtney sent me all of my pictures – which I LOVE!! She did such a great job of capturing the day and did not miss one important photo or moment. I was so impressed with both the quality of the photos and with how quickly she got them back to me. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to use Courtney J Photo for our special day and would highly recommend her!

g for an engagement session and I could tell then that she has a knack for portraying her subjects’ personalities. Those pictures turned out great and I couldn't wait to see what she came up with for the wedding. OMG was I pleasantly surprised! I could never have imagined how beautiful my wedding photos would turn out. They are amazing! I have been told by so many people that they look like a magazine cover! Courtney, ever the professional, gave me tips on timeline, family moments to capture, and was a real pleasure to work with! She captured every aspect of my wedding: the love, the tears, and all the little details that went into making it special. I always said the two most important things from that day are our vows to one another AND the pictures! The gorgeous photos that Courtney created for us will be on display in my house for as long as we both shall live!!!
Courtney did an amazing job on our engagement pictures. She was blessed with a brand new baby so she didn't get to photograph our wedding, but she had another photographer do the ...
job for us. She is doing all the editing for us though. Her passion for what she does is undeniable.
Courtney photographed my wedding in Fort Knox, KY in 2011; my husband said that our decision to have Courtney as our photographer turned out better than he ever could have imagined...
. I originally contacted her after seeing some of her work and thinking, "I want my wedding photos to be that amazing!" Her website said that she didn't want her clients to "look back on their wedding day and remember all the times they smiled and posed for a camera," rather she wanted to capture moments as they unfolded. That right there sold me, and Courtney more than delivered on that promise. She was professional, helpful, and friendly as could be. Many of our guests actually commented on her warm and helpful demeanor. And the photos! Every one is a work of art that we will treasure the rest of our lives. Courtney was an integral part of making our wedding day stress-free, comfortable, and even more fun than I expected and her photos allow us to relive that day over and over.
I had such a wonderful experience working with Courtney J, who photographed our wedding in Bardstown, KY last October.

hich meant hiring Courtney over the phone. I figured that, coupled with having a family friend take our engagement pics, meant that we wouldn't meet Courtney until the wedding. But Courtney took me out for dinner over the summer because she wanted to get to know me without the pressure of the wedding looming over us. I thought that was an incredibly nice gesture, and it set the precedent for how easy to work with Courtney would be throughout the process.
Time and time again, Courtney exceeded my expectations: she even asked around to other photographers and brides when we were having trouble finding an officiant. Courtney is professional, fun, and instantly puts you at ease on what could easily be an incredibly stressful day. The pictures were absolutely BEAUTIFUL; each time I thought I'd found my favorite, I would see another amazing one.
After the wedding, she kept up her high work ethic, quickly responding to all my questions and concerns despite being in the process of relocating to another state.
I have nothing but good things to say about Courtney. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made.
I had the pleasure of having Courtney J Photography shoot my engagement photos in Louisville, Kentucky and then accompany our wedding party to our destination in Sanibel Island, FL...
. I was beyond amazed at the quality and variety of photographs we received! My friends and family rave at the amazing images on the beach and during our ceremony!! It was the most amazing experience having Courtney at our special day. She made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited to have our picture taken. I could not have asked for a better experience with a wedding (and engagement) photographer. Both my husband and I would highly recommend and encourage the use of all of Courtney's services!
Very much enjoyed her. Very sad she is leaving the communit!
I absoutely love Courtney. She is so nice and so fun to be around which makes the days you spend with her so awesome. I'm not really big on pictures of myself but when we got our e...
ngagment pictures back I couldn't choose which ones were my favorite! We got SO many compliments on how good our pictures were. I could not wait for Courtney to photograph our wedding. She designed our guest book and it was perfect. I try to recommend everyone to her because I was so pleased with her. She is awesome!
Courtney is, hands-down, the BEST the Louisville-area has to offer. We got everything we wanted from her (engagement session, custom guest book, wedding album, all day wedding cove...
rage, and all images on a CD with the print release) within our budget, for less than what some photographers wanted to JUST show up to the wedding, without giving us a single photograph. She takes the most gorgeous, high-quality, professional photographs I've ever seen, she knows exactly what she's doing. She didn't take all day after the wedding to get the shots we wanted so we could go join the party and not keeping our guests waiting all day to eat and celebrate.
