t and intuition, and is truly dedicated to her craft. Her work is not your typical cookie cutter wedding photos, its more and you won’t regret it! Courtney is also so so so kind, thoughtful, and encouraging! She made both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera and helped us to not look awkward which is a huge plus for someone that isn’t often photographed! :) When we saw our wedding gallery it exceeded our expectations and more!! We were so excited to share our gallery with our family and friends that were not able to attend our wedding, and one comment that we constantly received was how breathtaking the photos were!

the photographer! Do NOT get on her bad side! We disagreed on the style of some of my bridal portraits- I feel like that is something you should be able to discuss with your wedding photographer as the bride, they are my photos after all..but it was NOT received well. I felt like Courtney completely lost interest in my wedding after that.I had several people come up to me after my wedding to tell me that my photographer looked irritated the entire night. She stood in one place for my entire ceremony (completely evident from the photos I got back, there is only one ceremony photo I genuinely love). There were two photographers there - but I never would have known from the photos. I assumed the second photographer would be anywhere that Courtney was not to take photos however that was not the case. No photos of guests arriving, no photos of my adorable guest book poster, NO photos of my GROOM GETTING READY. I gave Courtney a very detailed photo list and there are tons that she did not complete. For example- there is not a single picture of me WITH MY PARENTS and several wedding details weren't captured (coozies, matches, confetti poppers). Courtney lacked any vision to take creative photos unless she was specifically asked. I was too busy thinking about getting married to direct my photographer around. She only sent ONE instance of every photo she took - for example in my ONE family photo my brother's head is covered by my cousin, and she didn't bother to move people around so you could see everyone, and in the ONE photo of my groom with the bridesmaids one of the girls eyes are closed. . There were very few photos of my father. All around - I would NOT recommend her as a wedding photographer. She takes great portraits and stills, but not the type of photographer to shoot a 250 person wedding. Out of the 250 people at my wedding, not including bridal party, there are pictures of the same few people over and over again. NO photos of me with friends or family during the reception. She also refused to send me the raw photos even after I asked. Arbitrarily cropped my bridal party photos; when I asked for a photo that had my friend's entire head cropped off she refused to provide the original copy. Offers no editing or retouching of photos. You can get A LOT MORE for the same cost OR MUCH LESS compared to what Courtney can offer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER.
Not only does Courtney create and capture incredible moments-but she has so much fun and brings positive energy every where she goes. She was a joy to have capture our day.

ame in to start taking the photos, she sent her assistant to my house to take photos of my groom and the boys. Courtney kept us on schedule, helped calm my sister and mom down. She became my day of coordinator. She was calm and collected and took great photos. We were able to talk about what we thought might be the best shots and where we should do them. Also she uses digital and film while shooting, which i thought was pretty cool.
