Hello! My name is Courtney Windham, and I am a freelance artist based in Birmingham, Alabama. In the summer of 2017, I had the amazing opportunity to live in New York City to attend Chic Studios School of Makeup. While attaining my mastery of makeup certificate, I was exposed to an immense amount of diversity in the beauty community. After graduating, I came back to Birmingham and have hit the ground running in the southern wedding industry ever since. Along the way, my hair and makeup services flourished with my Southern belle brides, and I am willing to travel wherever my brides need me! My ultimate goal is to add to the bridal bliss of my client's wedding day, making everyone look and feel their best with my services, received with the utmost professionalism. Weddings are my passion as an artist, and it gives me joy to know I helped my clients shine on their big day! If you are looking for an artist for your big day, I would be absolutely thrilled to work with you!
I am based in Birmingham, Alabama but I will travel to you, no matter where your beautiful wedding is taking place!

Courtney was absolutely amazing! She listened to exactly what I wanted and my hair and make up turned out amazing for my photos. She also did work on 6 of my bridesmaids and they loved her as well!
Courtney is the BEST!!! She was so patient with us and we had the best time with her! All of my girls said this was the best hair and makeup they have ever had and I completely agree! Felt and looked my best for the most special day in my life thanks to Courtney!
Courtney was amazing! She was a breath of fresh air and her and Rachel definitely added to the positive vibes in the girls' room. Everyone loved their hair/makeup, and she was super flexible with the styles people wanted on the fly. Absolutely gorgeous work- I couldn't recommend her more.

Courtney was kind from the start! The first trial was great, and she was very patient with me. On the wedding day I completely changed what I wanted done for my makeup and she made me look so glamorous. Her assistant Rachel was amazing, all my bridesmaids and mom looked amazing. Each one of the girls said this was their favorite makeup. Courtney and Rachel were a great duo and we were beyond pleased with how everything went.

Courtney suggested hair styles that would be best for my straight hair to hold curl on a hot and humid day while working with me to achieve the look I wanted. Courtney is very personable. Her upbeat spirit brought humor and lightheartedness to my stressful wedding day. I truly have never felt more beautiful and confident in my life and Courtney is the one who made that happen. I would absolutely recommend Courtney as your hair and makeup artist.
I am so glad that I hired Courtney to work my wedding! She was so easy to work with and schedule, and although the quality of her makeup skill speaks for itself, her communicativeness was what I really appreciated! I felt absolutely beautiful the day of my wedding, and so did my bridesmaids and mothers, and despite dancing up a storm, my face and hair still looked GREAT by the end of the evening (I have incredibly oily skin, so I'm still not sure how she worked this magic). I asked for a natural look (with some lashes as a little pop) and I feel like she really listened and delivered that, so I'm as happy as can be. Also, both of her assistants were really fun and did a great job as well, so I just can't recommend her enough.
She was awesome and worked so well with my mother in law and my mom and step daughter! Absolutely would recommend her to anyone!

As I saw many reviews note before I hired Courtney, she is amazing at keeping a great tone throughout the process; I had a few moments of nerves I wasn't expecting, and she smoothly and quickly calmed me down.
I'm someone who has VERY little makeup knowledge, so my vocabulary in expressing any little tweaks I wanted was bumbling, but she made it happen. She also gave me a hairstyle I LOVED that was based on pictures but not an exact copy of anything I showed her, so it felt special.

Courtney is a very talented hair and makeup artist. She did a fantastic job on my wedding hair and makeup! My mother and friends were thrilled with their hair and makeup as well. She goes above and beyond to make everything perfect! I spent part of the ceremony outdoors under the hot sun, and I was afraid my makeup would melt off of my face, but it lasted the entire day! Courtney also has a sweet and fun personality. We enjoyed hanging out with her in the bridal cottage while she made all of us feel beautiful! I highly recommend Courtney's services for a wedding or any special event where formal hair and makeup is needed!

Courtney is AMAZING!!!! When I say amazing I mean the BEST. Seriously, the best makeup experience I have ever had! You need to hire her. She did my makeup as a bridesmaid and as a bride on my wedding day. She is detail oriented, kind and hilarious. She not only listens but she takes care of her clients. She puts her all into everything that she does. I am very picky when it comes to makeup. She knocked it out of the park on my trial. Courtney listened to me and she was so helpful and encouraging. She did an amazing job! I plan to use her for future events as well. You will not be disappointed!!
Y’all need to hire Courtney!!! Not only is she a magician with a makeup brush and wizard with her curling wand, she is kind, easy to communicate with, and very reasonably priced. And, speaking from experience, if your groom has a freak accident and is clawed in the face by a cat the day before your wedding, Courtney can even do your groom’s makeup!
Courtney did an absolutely amazing job on my, my mom’s and my bridal party’s hair and makeup! We had a very early and long day- but Courtney was prompt, so patient, attentive, detailed and focused. I never felt rushed and she kept our timeline on track beautifully. When I did my trial in March, I was very pleased with courtney’s work, but on wedding day I was BLOWN AWAY! My hair (updo) and make up (natural look w false eyelashes) lasted ALL DAY (I’m talking 10am-1am - seriously!!). I got so many compliments and everything felt very “me”. Courtney listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly!! Highly recommend Courtney for your wedding or event.

Courtney is FANTASTIC!!! She is so sweet and understanding I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding day and we worked and tweaked until it was perfect! She listened to me and asked me through the process of how did it look and was it to my liking. She is so kind and very thoughtful. She even calmed me down the day of my marriage due to my frantic nerves lol 😆 (thanks girl!) she has gone above and beyond my expectations I looked flawless and it lasted all day!!! Which is a huge deal! We even did extensions and they never stay in past 4 hours and these lasted well into the night!!! She is amazing, she even did my mothers makeup, and my mother looked like a goddess!!! Absolutely the best makeup artist!!!
I absolutely loved working with Courtney! I have never had hair or makeup last more than a couple of hours as my hair is very fine and my face is pretty oily. So I had pretty low expectations for my wedding day. Courtney blew that away! My hair stayed up in the most beautiful braided bun all day! It was still perfect after a very elaborate wedding dance and dancing all night after the ceremony! And my make held despite my skin type, an outdoor ceremony on a sunny day, and lots of tears from personal vows to first looks. And not only did she make me feel like a beautiful bride, she was also great to work with! She was very patient and flexible with me and my bajillion covid related changes. And she has a great caring and fun personality that was such a pleasure to have around on the wedding day! I would highly recommend Courtney!

I was traveling to Birmingham, AL from New Jersey. I reached out to Courtney to inquire about getting my makeup done for a dinner event. She responded promptly and was able to do onsite makeup at my hotel room. Courtney arrived onetime and delivered above my expectations.
