to say, we absolutely loved our floral arrangements for both our wedding and for my bridal shower. Not only was his artistry fantastic, but Peter was also a true pleasure to work with. He’s personable and funny and it shows that he’s genuinely passionate about what he does. He was responsive with our communications and mobilized fast for last minute edits. He makes you feel like he’s got it all under control (which is comforting for any bride to be). I would recommend Peter James and Couture Events of NJ without reservation and can personally say that I plan to seek his services for future events!

At first I had no clue what kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding, so when we sat down with him I told him what my wedding colors were and from that point forward, he blew us away. He planned everything from start to finish and while he always sought our approval, the man knows what he’s doing, we rarely went against his advice, and I’m thankful for that. The flowers and center pieces were absolutely stunning! My favorite color is blue and he found me these incredible blue orchids that matched my bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly. I have never seen such beautiful flowers and while I did check out a few other florists prior to meeting with Peter, nobody showed us anything close to these. He themed those orchids into everything at our wedding: our centerpieces, all the bouquets, boutonnieres, alter pieces, and flowers for my hair. All my guests commented on how beautiful everything was. Based solely on the quality of his product, I’d recommend him to anyone. On top of that, Peter is just a GREAT guy to work with. He’s extremely flexible and he was a ray of sunshine the day of our wedding. He came to the hotel that my husband and I were staying at to drop off the flowers. He gave us words of encouragement, a much needed hug, and instructed the bridal party how to hold our flowers throughout the ceremony. When we were at our venue taking pictures before the ceremony started, he was there helping set up the center pieces. Every once in a while I would catch him giving me a thumbs up or mouthing gorgeous or reminding me to bring my flowers lower, in a very funny way that you will only get to know if you work with him. We met with Peter the week before our wedding to ensure everything was in place and when we walked into his office, he had our centerpieces all set up, exactly as they will look on the day of our wedding. I can’t tell you how nice that was, it just put our minds at ease, “This guy is ready for our wedding, no need to worry here.” Here’s my advice to anyone planning a wedding: Choose the vendors that give you peace of mind, the ones that you know will deliver on their promises on your big day. With that in mind, we highly recommend Couture Events! If we do any major events in the future, we will definitely be going to Peter again.

My bridal bouquet was more beautiful than anything I ever could have imagined; I couldn’t have been happier with the way that it turned out. The colors that Peter had suggested for the bridesmaid’s bouquets looked absolutely stunning and popped against the color of their dresses. All of the additional floral arrangements that they provided, including boutonnieres, a birch arch with orchids, and table arrangements, along with the paper lanterns were just as stunning. Peter and his team are truly talented and passionate about the work that they do and it really shows. Everything truly looked amazing and we can’t thank them enough for all of the wonderful work that they did to make our wedding day so much more special!

was much appreciated being someone who doesn't know much about flowers. Couture Events provided us with our table arrangement flowers, a beautiful birch chuppah adorned with lights, curtains, and flowers, and flowers for our ceremony aisle. We also rented table numbers and frames and linens and lanterns for cocktail hour tables. And of course bouquets/boutineers for the wedding party. Everything turned out so stunning. When my husband and I entered the ballroom before any of our guests, we could not believe how gorgeous it looked. The flowers truly transformed the room and it couldn't have looked more beautiful. HIGHLY recommend Couture Events!!! You won't be disappointed.

Secondly, they take the vision for your day, whether slightly vague (like my own) or specific and near and dear to you, and translate it to PERFECTION. I basically just said the word green a lot to Peter, and then showed him my dress. From there I still cannot believe what my own wedding looked like and how smoothly everything ran. Jenna was always responsive, always friendly and kind, and truly eager to please. They coordinated with all of my vendors in my unconventional and bare venue (Sandy Hook), and produced a real life fairy tale. From the flowers (all lush, originally arranged and in season. Thanks, Tommy!), to the timing, to the card table, to the centerpieces, to the chuppahs (2! 1 to get married under, and 1 over our glam sweetheart table), they worked their A#@ES off, and it was a day I'll never forget and no one can stop talking about. Do yourself a favor, don't waste this very special time in your life by constantly stressing. Get your beauty rest, hire Couture Events.

AM that hooked me! Peter, Jenna and Tommy were my dream team :). Everything was covered: tablescapes, linens, flowers, decor, design.... Above and beyond - my guests were BLOWN AWAY. They even helped me negotiate and secure my venue, and hooked me up with a mind blowing photographer (sorry no pics yet; wedding was 12 hours ago lol). Additionally, they were so hands on day of, that all i needed to do was chill and get my hair and makeup done! Perfection!
