She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole thing and I am so happy we went through her and not another vendor. That would be my one constructive criticism so it is easy to track and follow since instagram started deleting messages randomly. Overall however the flower were GORGEOUS and they did everything I imagined and more.

The bouquets and boutonnières were waiting for us in water when we arrived at the venue. They were beautiful and better than we imagined. Dottie is truly professional and has lots of great experience delivering perfect flowers for every bride. Staging: Mattie was so knowledgeable and organized. She really helped us fine tune our vision and gave excellent advice on what would look best in the space. She was even willing to add our seating chart last minute. She listened so attentively to our vision and executed every detail perfectly. Her husband Ben did the draping, lighting, and backdrop which were better than we could have ever imagined. I regret not saving my flowers but I had a cascade so it was very big and it would have been hard to store. The flowers look fantastic in pictures.

I went in with a general idea of what I wanted flower wise (all greens and whites with a touch of vintage whimsy, please!) and they took it to the next level. In addition to the beautiful floral creations, their sister company, Cocomont Styling, designed the rest of the space. From designing the stage we married on with our chuppah and dozens of lanterns, to creating an intimate and vintage vibe at our reception with gorgeous antiques, their small touches and original pieces were truly magnificent. What could be better than a florist AND design team all in one?! Absolutely nothing. The best part is - not only are they talented, they are also delights to work with and be around - extremely communicative, so accommodating, and beyond sweet. Camino was my favorite vendor in all of wedding prep and they are a family I hope to stay in touch with for many years to come!

I brought in a lot of inspiration pictures printed from pinterest to show Dottie what kind of flowers I liked. She selected flowers that were similar in style and color; what she picked was PERFECT for me! All the flowers looked spectacular on my wedding day. Leading up to the wedding she found and bought several key items that I wanted incorporated in my wedding decor. Knowing that she went out of her way to find things that would work specifically for me really made me feel taken care of. To top it all off the staging of my venue that Mattie and Ben did was absolutely gorgeous. I gave them inspiration pictures, my theme, and specific details that I wanted incorporated and they executed everything perfectly. They put together my centerpieces and made the entire venue look beautiful with decor from their shop. I left several key details up to their creative instincts and was blown away by the stunning results. They all truly went above and beyond to make my vision for my wedding become a reality.

he date, we were able to communicate better. The only problem I found was that I didn't quite like the boutonnieres with fake gold leaves to match my gold/navy theme. And I also communicated that I DON'T like pink, but I still somehow got a lot of light pink flowers in my bouquet. Not quite the style I was hoping for, but they were still very beautiful.

The only thing I would suggest is that they utilize technology a little more. Having a pinterest board or drop box account would help us send pictures of flowers back and forth and allow for a more streamlined process especially for out of town brides.

to check her out (our first trip to a florist) and we spent about an hour with her at the shop, and booked her on the spot. I didn’t have too many particulars about flowers in mind, but gave her a general idea and showed her some pictures of what I had in mind. She is very attentive, as she picked up on words I had said and came back at the end and described what she was thinking – which was exactly what I had in mind. I basically gave her the freedom to do what she wanted, and the flowers turned out BEAUTIFUL. She even called me the weekend before (prior to her purchasing the flowers) to ask if she could do something, because she wanted to make sure she wasn’t going too far out of our initial discussion to ensure I would be happy with it. She included (for no extra charge) flower petals for the flower girl basket, and petals scattered down the aisle. She let me borrow all table vases, as she thought it was ridiculous to make someone purchase 15 vases – then what?! I’ve never heard of a vendor doing this before – her only requirement was that all vases/columns were returned by the Thursday of the following week. Her shop looks like an old antique shop, complete with cats, birds and flower petals all over the store – it’s definitely not your typical flower shop. However, she let me look around the store and said anything there was for her brides to use and bring back, similar to the vases. Although we didn’t end up borrowing anything, she had some really great items to be borrowed if people were looking for them. She also does not charge for delivery (she is located in Placerville). I wanted to incorporate part of my mom’s lace veil into my headpiece, and I handed the lace over to her and she made me a headpiece with a real flower in it. It was beautiful! Is this woman for real?! I never had a doubt about her, and she is super professional and I believe very fair in her prices. I would hands down recommend Dottie to anybody in the need for flowers for their wedding!
