I have to start by saying that Melvin was an excellent photographer during our engagement shoot and our wedding. We got married in Texas May 2024 and received our photos AND videos by August (that was an extremely fast turnaround time!). I'm going to talk about our experience during the engagement shoot, wedding, and post wedding! During our engagement shoot - I already told Melvin that my husband and I were not photogenic people and are very awkward in posing for photos. Melvin KNEW just exactly what words to say and the placement of our hands and feet and our bodies to make the photos look seamless. The shoot itself was so much FUN. It felt like Melvin became our friend and we were just all hanging out to take a bunch of cute and romantic photos. I rate his engagement and professionalism a solid 10/10. The Wedding - I commend Melvin for his flexibility. He was able to meet in person with me to calm me down and make sure we both agree on the timeline and shots to be taken. Melvin came up with a timeline that I had to review and give back to him. Melvin was ON TIME and had managed to become our wedding planner almost because of how well he knew how to work weddings and how stressful it is. Because we worked out everything in advance, we actually had enough time to capture lots of photos prior to the ceremony. I have to say this - MELVIN, our guests LOVED you! They appreciate how you would come up to them and take their photos. Months later after I show them our photos they often say HOW nice you were to them and how great you were with ensuring you captured everything. Our Entourage wouldn't stop talking about you! One of my bridesmaids even used your "tickle each other" for the candid pic tip on her best friend's wedding day because their photographer didn't know anything about engaging his photo subjects! Post Wedding - as part of our package, Melvin printed out two canvas prints of our wedding photos and a wedding album. He got the date wrong on the wedding album so after I reached out to him, he sent out another album for free (as he should! lol). Overall, Melvin and his team of 2-3 other photographers on our wedding day were amazing and extremely well-loved and appreciated by our guests! Our entourage appreciated your sassiness too! Again 10/10 for your dedication and knowledge! thank you so very much!!

My fiancé and I had our engagement photos taken by Melvin and the experience was amazing beyond words. We chose two locations and Melvin was very flexible with the time. My fiancé is not someone that is keen on getting his pictures taken, but Melvin made him very comfortable and gave him explicit instructions on what to do and how to pose. I showed Melvin some inspirational photos on my Pinterest board and he made sure to make my vision come true. The photo session was very fun and enjoyable; we even made a TikTok! Melvin was so great to work with! He made my bridals shoot so much fun and kept me laughing for the best candid pictures. My now husband and I booked with covenant pictures for our wedding day and we were blown away by how beautiful our pictures came out. Melvin captured the most special moments for us to perfection, and was very committed to getting the perfect shot! Melvin also always kept an open line of communication with us making it very easy to get in touch with him and super flexible with anything we needed. Lastly, he got our content finished and ready for us in less than 2 weeks! There services are unmatched in my option and their company is run by great people who love doing their job! Melvin was fantastic at our engagement shoot! We are both pretty camera shy but Melvin gave us clear direction on how to pose and somehow made us look so natural. Melvin and his team were very professional and fun! Communication was always on point and never confusing. His recommendations were super helpful! The quality of service was amazing for the price we paid. We had a budget in mind and he fit right into it with extras we didn’t expect. All in all, Melvin took our engagement and wedding photos. Our package was $1,999 for 2 photographers, 2 large canvases, 1 specialized photo album. I would highly recommend Melvin and his team for any special event!

These guys are amazing! Melvin is one of our photographers and we just did our bridal shoot… OH MY GOSH, YES! Super patient and fun and I can’t wait for the official wedding day and the pictures to come! Also turn around time was super quick for photos. Melvin and his videography partner were amazing!!! They drive all the way from Houston, to our wedding in Keller, TX!!! Throughout the whole process, Melvin was always in contact with us and was constantly making sure we were ready for our big day!! Even after we received our pictures and videos, they always made sure we were completely satisfied. They were early and so happy to be there with us on our wedding day. They were always on top of everything and got every shot we needed, wanted, and even way more than we expected!! We got a highlight and trailer video with our package and they were amazing. It definitely made me cry because it captured every amazing detail of our special day. They got along so well with our family and guests, and everyone loved them!! Their turn around time is fast, but we even got our pictures and videos back a couple weeks before their expected turn around time. Talk about amazing customer service! We used this vendor for our videographer. They were very professional and worked great for our needs. They even made us a highlight video with some of our own footage from a cell phone as we requested! We highly recommend!

Melvin and his team did such a fantastic job from start to end with all of our photography and videography needs! All of our photos turned out so beautiful and we absolutely love our movie & trailers! From the beginning he has always done a fantastic job with communication and speedy service!! I’ve heard so many stories of brides having to wait forever for their photos or video and he had them ready within 6 weeks or so! I was also really impressed how he was so willing to go out of his way to drive and meet me outside of town to help my childhood dreams come true of having my bridal photos in the bluebonnets!! I do wish I would have been a little more extensive in the requested shot list because some photos that I assumed would be taken I later realized were never taken. For example, photos with just my mom (the only one was when she was buttoning up my dress) or the dessert station that I spent so much time designing. However at the end of the day I can’t dock his rating over this because he really went above and beyond providing me 800+ edited photos plus all raw files and allowed me to be active in helping with the photo book until it was just right - most people totally wouldn’t have had his patience but instead he went above and beyond to make me happy! If you want great service from start to end and to feel like you got a great value for what you paid, choose Melvin!

Covenant Pictures is AMAZING! From the first day we hired Melvin, he was always quick to respond to emails or texts! Melvin keeps you very informed and is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work! On our wedding day, he made us feel so comfortable. He had our whole bridal party laughing and having fun! Covenant Pictures is amazing!! The communication and service is top notch. Gerardo was my videographer for my wedding and he was very kind and caught moments I didn’t even know he was around for. My contract stated I would receive my video 4-8 weeks after my event and I was totally okay with that. Melvin was able to get it back to me 9 days after my event and I was so shocked with the quick turnaround. I absolutely love my video and quality and would book Covenant Pictures again. 10 star service!!

As a perfectionist myself and very detail oriented, Melvin checked all those boxes plus more, and I have to admit, it is his experience and passion for this field that can produce these results.
