Absolutely Incredible – Worth Every Penny! Cover Story Entertainment absolutely made our wedding. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and just plain fantastic. The entire band brought such great energy, and their ability to read the room and shift the vibe from high-energy dance hits to more intimate moments was spot on. The band leader and singer, Alec, was not only incredibly talented but also extremely well-organized and accommodating. They were incredibly thoughtful throughout, even helping coordinate a special moment where I joined them on stage to play guitar. It all went so smoothly and added a really personal touch to the evening that made the day even more meaningful for both my wife and me. Special shoutout to Jack, their phenomenal guitarist, who improvised some Jimi Hendrix during the reception after my wife mentioned I was a fan. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly made the night feel special. We’re beyond grateful to have found such a talented, thoughtful, and professional band. Our guests are still raving about the music and how fun the night was. I’d recommend Cover Story Entertainment to anyone looking for top-tier wedding entertainment. Truly worth every penny.

08/30/25 If you're looking for unforgettable, authentic entertainment from start to finish, Cover Story Entertainment is it. They absolutely killed it at our wedding! From the first note to the final encore, they had every guest on their feet, dancing, singing, and cheering for more. We were blown away by the Cover Story! They were very professional with their set up for the ceremony and had very clear audio for the ceremony and speeches. During the reception, the band was absurdly talented! They were engaging with their energy and took song requests from the crowd. CSE did a great job with our wedding! We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the summit of a mountain, reachable via chairlift, which the team handled without a problem. If you're looking for a band rather than a DJ to play at your wedding, Cover Story Entertainment is the best. All of my friends and family said that our wedding was the most fun and that the band was great. No one left the dance floor all night. The HIGHLIGHT of our wedding was Cover Story! All night people were coming up to us and asking where we found them. They were all so talented, fun, organized, and extremely professional. The owner Chris was great to work with as well. The best decision we made for our November 2024 wedding was going with a Cover Story band. Me and my husband are metalheads so we had a few song requests outside of their set list, but they learned and performed the acoustic covers phenomenally. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night and they were a huge part of making our wedding as perfect as it was. If you’re debating if the extra cost for a band is worth it, I can tell you it 1000% is - and Cover Story was worth every penny!

Wedding advice: hire Cover Story Entertainment! We worked with CSE for our July wedding. We went with the ceremony package, 6-piece band as well as their uplighting and photo booth services. Our experience with CSE from start to finish was 10/10. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, communicative, and responsive. They always answered all of our questions (and I asked many!) Alec, Alex, Savannah, and the rest of the band members rocked it all night. One of the first things guests commented on about our wedding was how amazing the band was. One of our guests commented that they wish they could cancel their DJ and fly CSE to their wedding in Portugal because they loved them so much. Extremely talented musicians for an awesome price, which make a huge difference when wedding planning. I wanted to express my absolute amazement at the fantastic job Phil and the Cover Story Entertainment team did during our Saturday night event. The high-energy music had everyone on their feet, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how phenomenal the band was. We specifically asked for no slow songs for our wedding. At least a dozen people asked us how we managed to find such a fantastic group! For the music logistics, they did play a few songs on our do-not-play list (not the end of the world). I also said multiple times there was only one song we really cared they played, and then they didn't end up playing it. Lastly, for the father/daughter dance, they only told us 5 minutes before the dance that they couldn't play the song live, which would be played over a loudspeaker. I only had some minor feedback on logistics specific to our venue, which CSE was responsive to. The only part I needed help with during the process was filling out their intake form; it was difficult to read/follow - I suggested the CSE team hire someone with a communications or user experience background to review it and update the form for future clients. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience since the band brought so much energy to the party!

We had an amazing experience with Cover Story Entertainment from initial planning to the wedding reception. Highly recommend! Nikki and the Cover Story band kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. Our guests raved about the phenonomenal song selection, talent and all-around great energy the band provided. They were pros at reading the room and engaging our guests. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, responsive and a pleasure to work with. As a great preview, we enjoyed watching one of bands perform at Bell and Hand. The wedding planner document was amazing and ensured all details were confirmed and accounted for in advance. In addition to the reception, the band did a fantastic job with ceremony accoustics and AV support, MC'ing as well as providing uplighting. We will forever be grateful for the experience Cover Story provided.

I can't recommend Cover Story enough. Chris was great to work with and was always super responsive when we had any questions, we definitely felt like we were in good hands. So important when planning a wedding as it is stressful!! As far as the actual wedding day Linda and her band KILLED IT. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the dance floor was packed all night long. Everyone was talking about how sore they were the next day from all of the dancing. Any time I'd consider taking a break they'd start playing another hit and I'd be right back on the dance floor. They totally made the wedding and we couldn't be happier.

We highly recommend Cover Story Entertainment to anyone looking to book a wedding DJ and acoustic musician! DJ Matthew and our acoustic musician Ezra were both were fantastic. Chris, Elena and the Cover Story team were so great to work with during our planning process - answering my endless questions, providing advice on timeline/song selection, etc. The planning calls with Elena and DJ Matthew in advance also helped us having confidence our day would be perfect. Choosing the right band is one of the most crucial choices you'll make for the wedding -- and usually one of your larger investments. You can choose Cover Story Entertainment. The admin piece was extremely professional and punctual. There's extensive work done to put on a performance perfect for you and your guests. As for the musical talent -- wow. My musically inclined friends couldn't stop raving about how good they were. I think that says it all. Overall, highly recommend. Book them!

What an awesome time! This crew rocked out and were very nice to work with. As you can see in the pictures, people on the dance floor were having a blast, despite the room being very hot! I was immediately impressed with the voice of the singer, and there were moments on the dance floor where each of the member's individual talents shined through. There were times where I watched each person rocking on their instrument. There was one issue that I didn't notice - their female singer got sick and couldn't show - but it ended up allowing for something really cool and special to happen. One of our guests is a female singer in a different band and so she asked the band during their break if she could do a few songs (my wife LOVES Taylor Swift). The band was accommodating to that request and it will be a fun part of our wedding that everyone will remember. Chris was also accommodating in adjusting our price due to the fact that one of the band members was unable to make it. Overall, great people to work with and very talented. Thanks for the fun vibes and special memories!

WE LOVE THIS BAND & DJ! Loved working with Chris, Elana, Alex prior to our wedding - they were each so professional, organized, and kind throughout the process, and we loved that they matched our level of excitement for our July 8 wedding in Vermont. They were so accommodating with some changes we wanted to make. Loved the ceremony music, it was so well done and seamless. Reception music was incredible. My husband who is more musically inclined than I am was especially impressed with every single one of the performers saying they all had different moments where they shined. We booked Cover Story for our wedding this month and they were incredible. We opted for a 6-person band, including male and female vocalists, guitar, drums, keyboard, and bass, which played the reception. We also had one musician to perform the ceremony music and two musicians for the cocktail hour. We definitely appreciated opting for the 6-piece as the music was much more complete and they were able to play a lot of songs. We submitted a list of songs we wanted to hear as well as those we didn't. From those we wanted to hear, we heard practically everything we requested. From Smells Like Teen Spirit, which brought down the house, to Mr. Brightside, which always brings everyone running to the dance floor, we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. They even learned a few songs for us that we had requested, which were all executed perfectly. When not playing live music, so they could take their required breaks, they had a DJ who also knew how to keep the party going strong. Thinking back on the night, I honestly cannot recall a time where the dance floor was not packed with guests. Throughout the entirety of the wedding, friends and family were coming up to my wife and I to ask who the band was, as they were putting on such a great show. The range in music they were able to play also allowed for guests of all ages to enjoy at least a few songs and get out on the dance floor. I would recommend Cover Story to anyone who is looking for a great all around band for their wedding.

Cover story did an amazing job for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had an acoustic player for the ceremony, and live band + DJ for the reception. The band brought awesome energy and put on an incredible show. We had a blast and the dance floor was packed all night. Chris and team were also very helpful throughout the planning process, and incredibly organized, coordinating with our vendors ahead of time to make sure the day went smoothly. People continue to rave about the band. Thank you so much!

We hired the five piece band for our wedding in November 2022 and they were amazing!!! Can’t recommend cover story enough. Chris and Elena are super responsive and are very easy to work with. Danielle and Joey are great singers! They were well prepared for our special day and kept the dance floor packed all night (even when they took their break, we had a full floor with the dj set that they had). The one requirement I really had was to make sure the bride (myself) was on the dance floor when they played “dancing queen” they made sure I was around for it and they brought the energy. We had guests telling us that it was one of the best weddings that they have attended and I know this can be attributed to the band keeping the dance floor packed! Thank you for everything!!!!

Going with a band was one of the best decisions & Cover Story did not disappoint! Very talented group and they picked up quickly the style of music we preferred based off of our requests and crowd responses, which kept the dancing going. The DJ sets between band sets were better than we ever expected, too!

We had this company for our wedding and they did NOT disappoint!!! We went with both a live band and DJ - the dance floor was packed all night long! They did an amazing job with the ceremony music as well as an acoustic set for the cocktail hour. Chris was in touch with us for every detail and we could not have asked for a better person to see the entertainment through from beginning to end! 10/10.

Great job by Chris, Elena, Danielle and Joey! Cover Story has a huge playlist, but we wanted them to learn and perform a couple of tunes that were not on it - for first dance and parents dance. Danielle and Joey performed them live and they were flawless and beautiful. These are really talented musicians -combined with efficient management and planning tools so there are no unpleasant surprises. Cover Story is a high-quality, low-risk choice for wedding entertainment.

After interviewing a few music companies I booked Cover Story Entertainment - I booked a DJ (DJ Omari) and a musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour (Jason). I was extremely happy with Cover Story Entertainment and everything about my experiences exceeded my expectations. Throughout the planning and scheduling process Cover Story staff I dealt with were so nice, accommodating, flexible, and hyped me up. They clearly have experience dealing with brides. Even when I asked silly questions their emails always ended with them saying how excited they were for my big day. The payment and planning process was smooth and very professional. They even texted me on my wedding day to let me know they had arrived at the venue and were excited to get started. DJ Omari and Jason were both phenomenal. Omari was attentive, made sure he pronounced names correctly, and played all the songs I requested ahead of time. There literally were people dancing the ENTIRE RECEPTION and I had SO MANY guests comment on how much fun it was and how great the music was. Jason was also amazing and I had guests tell me he was great too. I would 10/10 recommend Cover Story and would 10/10 book them again.
