Covington Gardens is an elegant wedding venue located in Pleasant Garden, NC, conveniently situated just a short distance from Greensboro. Owner Alexis Wilhelm has always loved helping people celebrate, and she's honored to get to work with to-be-weds as they plan their milestones. She understands that no two weddings are alike, and will work hard to make each one a bespoke experience. Covington Gardens is a Victorian-style home fitted with modern conveniences. The house has retained some of its original features, like carved wooden floors, wall moldings, ceiling beams, and cabinets. The grounds, meanwhile, cover over seven acres and offer lush greenery and manicured gardens, perfect for photos. Ceremonies can be held at Carter Pond, which can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. From here, the newlyweds can lead the guests to a cocktail hour in The Meadow. Receptions will take place in the 4,000 square-foot Garden Pavilion, which has a white tent for cover from the weather. To-be-weds can get ready in the house, which has two get-ready suites, complete with floor-length mirrors and vanity areas. Parking is available on-site for guests. Covington Gardens has a range of wedding packages for you to choose from, depending on your needs. There's also a weekend-long package for grand celebrations. Setup and cleanup are offered as part of these packages, giving you more time to spend with your loved ones. Tables and chairs are also provided for further convenience. Hey I’m Alexis! I have always loved a good party. I threw a masquerade ball in my parents backyard for my 17th birthday and invited well over 300 of my classmates. I like to go big or go home and in my mind nothing is too big to imagine or accomplish. When the opportunity to own a wedding venue came up, I was all in. I have always loved weddings, helping my friends plan their perfect day and seeing everything come to life. The oasis we are creating at Covington Gardens is something special. I am so excited for our couples to experience its magic on their wedding day!

is venue - I’ve never seen one more perfect! Alexis and her father (the owners) are both super friendly and helpful. Sydney, one of the staff members, is also amazing! Everything venue-wise went very smoothly on my wedding day here and the guests loved it! My only advice for the venue going forward - we had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen (plus parents) getting ready in the house (there’s a groom’s suite and bridal suite in there) and it was way too small for that big of a wedding party to comfortably get ready in. I was trapped upstairs in the house for half the day in order to avoid the groom (downstairs) seeing me before the ceremony. I think the house should be just for the bride/bridesmaids and there should be a separate residence for the groom/groomsmen to get ready in! Besides that minor detail, everything else was great and I’d definitely recommend Covington Gardens to any brides!

The grounds are beautiful and well kept no matter the time of year. Alexis and her dad were amazing to work with. They were accommodating and willing to work with any of my ideas. Alexis kept me calm when I was sure it was going to rain on my wedding day - which it didn't - assuring me that she and her staff would make every effort possible to ensure I had my dream outdoor wedding. Even if it did rain, one of the reasons I chose this venue was the beautiful rain plan ceremony option. We had a beautiful day and night and highly recommend this venue!

at the venue for a wedding ceremony. We chose carter pond and it was absolutely breathtaking with the fountain and fall colored leaves in the background. The tent is the perfect place for a reception. We had 145 guests and everyone was seated very comfortably with plenty of room for more guests if needed. Alexis is very easy to work with and will answer any questions that you have. She made the entire process a breeze! I have received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue is. It was truly a dream come true!! I highly recommend Covington Gardens!

The venue itself is stunning and made it feel like we were tucked away in our own little celebration. Hansen House was such a perfect place to get ready and hangout before the ceremony. The ceremony site, Carter Pond, was so dreamy and the tent made a great reception area. I love that guests could hangout outside the tent and play games on the lawn. We also had snow cones for our reception in lieu of cake and the company was able to park their truck right near the reception space. I can't recommend Covington Gardens to future newly weds enough!

The space is stunning and offers variety of having different locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The rain plan is also very well planned and offers options to have a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour in the event of bad weather. Staff were so kind and thoughtful, one of the venue coordinators walked to the exit in the rain to assist with guiding the Triad Trolley driver out of the driveway. Really incredible location and team, could not have asked for better. The venue is naturally beautiful so that took a huge pressure off of having the feeling to need to decorate the space. early stages of the renovation process, but the plans Alexis (property owner) had for the venue made us fall in love. She was able to share her vision with us and showed us a venue with amazing greenery, a beautiful altar by the pond, and a reception area large enough for all of our friends and family. Not only was the venue amazing, but working with Alexis for the past few months has been a great experience in our wedding planning process. She has been easy to talk to and very accommodating in order to make our day perfect for us. She is always ready with answers to any questions I come to her with and she genuinely cares about my fiancé and I having the best wedding day possible. Over the past few months we have been so excited to get to celebrate our marriage at the venue with our friends and family and show off how beautiful it is. We would recommend this venue and working with Alexis over and over again to any couple searching for the perfect place to say their vows!
