Bottom line, would we recommend? Yes! Cowboy catered our wedding, and we were very happy with the final result. We wanted a pig roast and they delivered with great support from BTS. Guests specifically complimented the chicken, the salt potatoes, and the Mac & Cheese. We did unfortunately have a few issues tied to communication, perhaps it's an industry standard but since this is our first and only time planning, more explicit information would have been appreciated. We missed out on their single tasting event because it wasn't directly communicated with us after our deposit, so we had to settle for a normal food truck with partial menu. They did offer to provide alternate sides for future food truck visits which was appreciated. Additionally, dinnerware was not adequately discussed prior to the event but thankfully BTS was able to obtain some last minute supplies. Despite these issues, the final result was tasty and of ample supply. We still enjoy some leftovers from the freezer, reminiscing on our wonderful summer wedding. We would be happy to hire them again.
Cowboy BBQ was wonderful to work with from day 1. The communication and flexibility was superior! They delivered just as described and surpassed our expectations! Their BBQ was delicious and my husband and I are still enjoying it! I would highly recommend enlisting Cowboy BBQ for your special day or event! We would give 10 stars if we could!!
Cowboy BBQ catered my husband and I's wedding and they were great! The food had so much flavor and the meat was so tender; we were eating it days after the wedding. Our guests loved the food as well! Jason and Kim are easy to work with and provided great customer service which made our experience that much better. One of the things that stood out to me was when 2 staff members helped serve my husband and I when it was time to eat. It made us feel so special and it saved us the hassle of having to get food ourselves. The staff also helped us box up all the extra food and even set to-go containers to the side for us to eat later on that night. Thanks to Cowboy BBQ, we had awesome food at our wedding and beyond!

The Cowboy BBQ team was amazing! They offered an all inclusive food/bar package with BTS and I can't rave enough about the whole setup and price! Both teams worked seamlessly together and went above and beyond in making sure everything was cleaned up and everyone was happy!
I had my wedding a few weeks ago on 10/14/2023 and couldn’t have asked for a better caterer!! Jason, Kim and their team did an amazing job exceeding my expectations for my big day! We got compliments all night about the loaded French fry bar for cocktail hour appetizers and the amazing chicken and mac and cheese for dinner. Jason and Kim were very responsive to all of our questions during our planning process and incredibly accommodating with requests. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to cater my wedding. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special!! 10/10 would highly recommend them!!
We had Cowboy BBQ as our caterer for our wedding on 9/2/23 and it was the best decision we had made. Kim and Jason are the nicest people who really care about making your special day seamless and of course full of good food. Jason was right on the property in the morning smoking the chicken and pork. He had stayed right up until the end of dinner making sure we enjoyed the food. You could just tell he really cared that we were happy with their services. The food was absolutely amazing. Their chicken was incredibly juicy and fall off the bone. The Mac and cheese was also smoked and was the talk of our entire wedding between our guests. It was one of the best Mac and cheeses we have ever had. Everything was simply perfect. Their staff were so incredibly kind as well. Overall, they checked every single box we had. If you are in need of a caterer, don’t think, just hire Kim and Jason. Your day will be perfect and the food will be excellent.
Absolutely perfect! We knew we wanted BBQ for our wedding but we never dreamed it would have been that great! The chicken had amazing flavor and our guest couldn’t stop talking about the pulled pork. Not to mention the entire staff was very polite, genuine, and quick to respond.

We used them for our rehearsal dinner and it was AMAZING! Their smoked meats are soooo good!!
They arrived 4 hours before our event to make sure they finished the cooking onsite so it was super fresh for our 100 person event. They were so nice to worm with and every aspect of their meal was super well thought out and unique. Really happy I booked them. The staff was very friendly and everything was smooth and stress free. Highly recommend!
Cowboy BBQ was fantastic to work with. I had the privilege to meet them at their food truck a few times and not only was the food amazing but so are the people. Our photos took up more time than expected which in turn pushed lunch a little later than planned. However Jason was all hands on deck, waiting and ready to go! As soon as our food blessing was said the crew kicked in to full on hospitality mode! They not only served my wife and I personally but also helped other family members as well. They went above and beyond and helped clear plates and do the trash. They even offered to get us drinks which was not part of their package (we had separate bartender). My “best woman” was a caterer for years and she couldn’t say enough about what a wonderful job they did. I would highly recommend having Cowboy Bbq cater for your event or at the very least for you to find their food truck! Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day!
We had Jason and Kim cater our wedding in Bloomville, and our friends and family could not stop raving about it! From when I first reached out about 6 months before to the day of, Jason and Kim were extremely responsive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone was so glad to take home some leftovers the next day. The pulled pork was my personal favorite, and everyone just lost it over the chicken dip. Would absolutely work with them again.
Jason and his staff were absolutely amazing. My husband and I enjoyed our food and all of our guests raved about how good it was. Even the staff at our venue commented on how great the food was. Jason was extremely responsive the entire time we communicated about the catering and the price was extremely reasonable for the caliber of food and service we received.
If you are looking for fantastic BBQ at your event stop looking because you found it. 11/10 would recommend Cowboy BBQ!
Jason from Cowboy BBQ was the star of the show at our wedding. He drove over 2 hours to set up an open fire pit and cook us some incredible food. Our guests raved about it, and still are! The quality is not suffered for the quantity - we were able to send EVERYONE home with leftovers, and took home two trays ourselves. The food was absolutely incredible -- I highly recommend the salmon, salt potatoes, and mac n cheese. Holy smokes, I'm drooling just thinking about it again. Worth noting that this is an incredibly affordable option and Jason is willing to work within your budget to design the right menu for your needs. Thank you so much Jason + team, for making our day delicious!!

Jason and his team catered our wedding 8/8/2020 and we got so many compliments about the food! From the first interaction the responses were quick and thorough. We added the french fry bar which was one of the best decisions ever! Even though the french fries were served during cocktail hour and we were off taking pictures, there was a huge pile of fries and all the toppings hidden for us to enjoy before being introduced - we actually pushed off the introductions to be able to eat because they were so good! The BBQ dinner was fantastic with the favorite being the mac & cheese - Jason even made my plate for me (does it actually get any better than that!?!?) ❤ Thank you so much to Cowboy BBQ, Jason Smith, and his team for the amazing experience for our backyard wedding!
Cowboy BBQ was a top notch operation up and down! From the planning to the execution, they were everything we were hoping for and more! We would recommend them for anyone looking for a great caterer for any function, especially one that can work within the restrictions because of Covid-19 and NYS!
Cowboy BBQ catered our wedding this past weekend. Despite the monsoon's we were hit with throughout the day, the food was on time and amazing!! These guys do a great job!
We attended a wedding in August 2020 and they had Cowboy BBQ. We were astonished at how good it was. Fast forward a month and our wedding venue cancelled. Jason was my first call!! He was so easy to work with and so accommodating!! Our guests called and messaged us to tell us how good the food was and to ask about our caterer. The food is absolutely amazing and he's affordable too! You can't go wrong with cowboy BBQ!!
