Hello, and welcome to our Cozy Home! My name is Virginia Phillips (they/them/theirs), and I'm the owner and chef at Cozy Home Meals and Catering, a small catering and meal prep service based in Roeland Park, KS. We are new to the wedding scene, but eager to earn your business, and to provide a truly memorable and delicious spread on your special day!
At Cozy Home Meals, our mission is to make everyone feel welcome at our table. I love getting to personally know each person that we work with, learning more about their unique tastes and preferences, and establishing a clear line of communication for excellent customer service and peace of mind during your planning process. Cozy Home Meals is passionate about working with you to create a custom menu and experience for your special day, from the first moments of dreaming up a menu that you and your guests will truly enjoy, to managing a seamless day-of delivery, buffet set up, and clean up so you can fully relax and savor your special day.
Cozy Home Meals is delighted to work with you to create a custom menu, and also offers a number of different specialties. These include our soft Bavarian pretzels and local bier cheese, savory stuffed bierocks (ask about our curried veggie or KC BBQ fillings!), Merlot-portobello roast beef, strawberry-walnut spinach salad, and curried cheddar-potato stew. We are proud to be a LGBTQ+ owned small business, and to offer vegan, vegetarian, and allergen sensitive menu options alongside our expansive traditional menu. Whatever your needs and goals, our team is ready to help you design the banquet of your dreams!

I was in a frenzied panic to find a caterer for my daught...
ers wedding shower after a flare of chronic illness left me unable to do the cooking. From the moment I first spoke to Virginia on the phone, I knew I was in good hands and my anxiety was calmed exponentially.
I had a menu I planned to make myself and felt heartbroken to let that go. HOWEVER…Yes, Cozy Home Meals has a terrific menu to choose from, but Virginia walked me through MY vision and made that vision happen and more. Cozy Home Meals quite literally saved the day!
Virginia not only delivered the food, with all accompaniments, but the salad and fruit was tossed fresh here before a quick cleanup and off they went. Cozy Home Meals service was EXEMPLARY. Their communication was clear, visionary, accurate and timely. Their professionalism was above the bar while also providing a warm, caring and sincere point of contact. And their pricing was spot on.
BUT THE FOOD! Everything was absolutely delicious! Every single item from the appetizers to the main courses to dessert got so many complements that I had guests asking for their contact information. The Autumn butternut squash soup was 10 out of 10! Every item was simply exquisite.
