ember. She is a really calming presence and was great at encouraging me to react to different things and provide feedback so she made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I also had concerns about using specific products with my sensitive skin and she made sure to address and accommodate my concerns. Carla also had an additional makeup artist and hairstylist to accommodate hair and makeup for myself, MOB, MOG, and 4 bridesmaids. They were all early to the bridal suite, super friendly, and efficient. I would 100% recommend Carla and her team if you want to feel so beautiful on your wedding day and have a really wonderful, low-stress getting ready time!

in a small town, and was having a really hard time finding someone that would travel to my venue to do hair and makeup. Carla not only offered to make the 2 hour trip to provide her services but also opened up her schedule just for my wedding day (it was a Tuesday so very random). When i first met her during my trial appointment I knew I had made the right decision. My sister and I had such a great time just talking and getting to know her. She was very attentive, asked what my preferences were, gave great input, and made sure i was happy! She absolutely exceeded my expectations on the hairstyle and did a fabulous job on my makeup as well. On the day of the wedding, she showed up right on time and came extremely prepared. Everyone’s makeup/hair came out beautifully, including mine (but i already knew it would lol). She did a total of 6 services including mine and her quality was never sacrificed despite how long of a day it probably was for her. (this girl has energy!!💪) When I started to get stressed out because i was running behind on time getting my dress and accessories on to head downstairs for the ceremony she stuck around and continued to help me get ready even though she had finished my hair & makeup. Carla took it as far as waiting until i got downstairs to get in position to walk down the aisle to put my veil in for me. Not to mention, i got married in the rain and my hair and makeup held up way better than i expected!! If you’re looking for a makeup/hair artist that will go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and taken care of, Carla is your girl!!🙌

was also extremely flexible with booking. At first I only had her booked for my hair & makeup and my maid of honors hair& makeup, then a few months later I added my moms makeup and then a few months later my mother in laws makeup and Carla was very kind throughout the entire process. She ended up needing to get to the hotel at 5:30 am because of all the additional makeup bookings and she was so sweet about it (even though it was crazy early). She was very sweet and helpful when I asked for a few modifications and was so reassuring the entire time. And again, such a calming presence in the morning. I was the typical panicking bride and she was very kind and calming and let me take some breaks during my hair and makeup to try to calm my nerves. Also, my hair and makeup came out stunning!! Same with my friend and the Mother’s. We all got so many compliments throughout the day. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day because of Carla’s amazing work. I truly can not recommend Carla enough. I am so happy I chose her to do my hair and makeup. You won’t regret booking with her!!

ay she goes above and beyond to make you feel confident and cared for! I felt sooo beautiful on my wedding day and even had last minute requests which she was more than willing to help me with without any hesitation. She is like family and she treats you that way. Her team was like magic getting all of my girls ready, I had a large wedding party (9 girls) not including MOB, MOG and flower girls. All the artists were professional, kind, were able to accentuate each persons natural beauty and looked so beautiful while still looking themselves which I believe is so rare to find. I would 100% recommend Carla and her team to any bride in the area :)

ck for the look I was going for. On the day of, Carla arrived a few minutes early and got set up to do my bridesmaids' hair. Each bridesmaid requested a different style and Carla made recommendations based on their hair types. Carla's assistant, Marcella, arrived right on schedule and set up to do the bridesmaids' and mother of the bride's makeup. Again, everyone requested a different look and Marcella delivered on each one. Everyone was so happy with how they looked. Carla did both my hair and makeup. She did an incredible job and made me look even better than she did at the trial. Additionally, Carla and Marcella fit into the vibe of the getting ready suite perfectly- everyone was calm and at ease. I only wish that I had more formal events to attend so that I could hire Carla again.

g day. I was thrilled with the outcome. Picking your wedding day makeup artist is stressful, and I can assure you, Carla is pure talent. She was responsive and had excellent communication leading up to the trial and wedding day. If you are on the search for a makeup and hair artist in the DC, VA or MD area, book Carla. You will be happy you did. 10/10 recommend!!!

wedding and she used my inspiration pictures and feedback to create the most natural, but glamorous, look ever! She engineered a perfect lip color for me too- not sure I'll ever be able to recreate that!! Leading up to the day, Carla was in contact with me and my bridesmaids to ensure that she knew exactly what we were looking for with make-up. She got to our room promptly on the day of and made everyone look so beautiful! She also had the sweetest gift for my big day, so thoughtful! We all loved our looks, and she was so accommodating to plan/schedule changes as well! Cannot recommend Carla enough, she made our perfect day easy and fun and her talent is evident in all that she does! THANK YOU!!

know how this worked out) I got so so lucky with Carla being available. She does gorgeous work and is very versatile. I went for glam on my wedding day but I’ve also seen her do extremely clean/classic looks. She is extremely organized and communicative. She works very hard to make sure everything goes smoothly on your special day. Even if things happen to fall behind schedule (which mine did, due to me though and not her!) she stays calm and collected and gets it done! Also she is just a very sweet person in general! I cannot sing her praises enough!

perfect look. She gave me honest recommendations but let me know it was my idea. She helped me try on about 4 different pairs of lashes so I was completely satisfied and I god SO MANY COMPLEMENTS. I would definitely recommend her as she is so nice and talented and I would also recommend doing a trial so you can better know exactly what you like!

oubts, your fears, and will make you feel super confident. The makeup was flawless. I received a lot of compliments, and best of all, the makeup lasted a long time, for at least 6 hours that I can remember, the makeup was intact. I really recommend her as a makeup artist.
