These people were so patient and easy to work with. I told them my budget and they were able to sit with me and go through every single scenario in which I could get what I wanted without going over. The food was delicious and I couldn't be more pleased with my catering choice.

We loved Cracked Pepper for our rehearsal dinner! They were very efficient and organized. The food was amazing and there was something for everyone in our package. Simple and easy!

We planned our wedding from afar and did not have an opportunity to taste test the food before our wedding day. The team at Cracked Pepper Catering was not only amazing and helpful throughout the process but the day of everything was perfect. The food was fantastic and there was plenty. Their smoked turkey and parmesean chicken was perfect.

Cracked Pepper Catering provides the best wedding food available in the area. My groom and I chose to do a buffet which was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The cake was also fantastic. We did have a couple of hiccups, but those were handled promptly and professionally.

Fantastic food, great service. From the moment we met the staff at Cracked Pepper we were impressed, very personable. The tasting they offer is individualized and wonderful (many tastings are large group tastings; this one is bride, groom, and up to 4 others if you choose, executive chef, and caterer coordinator). They have a large menu to choose from but are also willing to create anything you want. We had 385 guests at our wedding and did a buffet. Food was hot and everyone ranted and raved about how good it was. They also decorate the buffet tables which is a nice touch. We used their bakery for desserts and our small wedding cake which was also fantastic. (cake was decorated rustic and wintery, just how I asked). They provide enough staff members to accommodate all guests. One of the staff members even carried my plate through the buffet line and dished my food up for me to make sure I wouldn't spill on my gown, how thoughtful! They are slightly more expensive than other some caterers in the area but worth every cent. How often do you go to a wedding and actually love the food? It just doesn't happen, but that's exactly what happened at ours. Highly recommend Cracked Pepper!

I was referred to Cracked Pepper Bryan event lanes who has used them before and was excited to get what I thought would beagle at recommendation; however, my excitement dwindled by their inability to return phone calls and emails.

The food was beyond anything I could have hoped for. I was so scared since they couldn't give us a taste testing because of the only time I could meet them, so I was going blind into all of it. But everyone raved about the food. It was delicious and well seasoned. And more importantly, hot. I had a few issues with them in the beginning, the fees for servers are a little outrageous, but for my small wedding, thankfully I only needed one server.

Cracked Pepper stepped up to cater our wedding after our initial catering company, Basta, closed their doors after our wedding planning had begun. Marla was absolutely wonderful in accommodating everything we wanted, even a less traditional style of service - we really wanted family style for our reception, and she made that happen for us. The food was the best food I've ever had at a wedding; I still dream about the chicken marsala, no joke. And they did our bar, too, which was quite affordable. They even made our cake when our cake vendor was unable to do our wedding last minute, due to losing her cake shop in the tornado that hit Washington, IL. The cake that Cracked Pepper made for us was beautiful and delicious! Everything was great, I can't sing their praises enough. If you've got a real Italian family like mine, they'll be happy with this food. Mange!

We ordered a bunch of our favorite desserts from different locations. We ordered brownies and a few other things from Cracked Pepper. The brownies were very stuck together and hard to eat, unlike the ones we had previously tried before ordering. They are very willing to work with you and cut brownies in a certain way and placed them on trays we had provided.

Was very helpful all the way through the process, but the day of the event they lost my order. My husband and I chose to have a dessert assortment and one of the items we wanted included was the mini-cinis from Cracked Pepper. I had corresponded with a member of their staff through email to place the order. We had spoken several times and I felt very comfortable. About a week before the wedding I called and orderd one dozen over the phone to be picked up by a bridesmaid to share with family at a gathering. I paid over the phone and gave them her name (she was the one that was going to be picking them up the night before the wedding so in a way this was a trial run). Everything went smoothly on that day. Cut to the next week when she went to pick up the actual order for the wedding and they had lost the order. Even though I had just called, confirmed and had already paid by phone the very day before. Luckly they had enough in stock to give us what we needed and finaly let us leave with the cini-minis (they tried to make us pay twice, because when they lost the order they also lost the record of payment). Everything turned out fine but I sure was thankful that we did not use them for more.

Marla was very helpful during this process. We had the pulled pork and barbecue beef brisket at our wedding, and it was delicious! Our wedding cake was wonderful, as well as our cupcakes. We are very glad we chose Quail Meadows Golf Course as our reception hall!

We were very pleased working with Cracked Pepper Catering. they helped in our decision making with all of our food selections. We loved the appetizers and the desserts. They were definitely a hit with our guests as well! I'm glad we decided to skip a wedding cake and have desserts provided by Cracked Pepper! Unfortunately, we didn't love the entrees. The pork medallions had some sort of gravy on them that we weren't expecting and the potato gnocchi's sauce seemed a little boring. That being said- overall we were happy with Cracked Pepper! Delicious appetizers, delicious desserts, and decent entrees. Wonderful service!

Cracked Pepper catered our wedding in May 2012 at Wildlife Prairie Park. They provided the food, cake and bar services. Everything was delicious! Especially the cake. All of our guests went on and on about how great the food was and how yummy the cake was. Marla and Brianna were enjoyable to communicate with, although sometimes hard to get ahold of. They were very helpful with all our questions and requests.

the food was AMAZING!!! we only had appetizers at our wedding because the ceremony was at 7, but they were sooo good!! everyone was raving about the food!! they did a fantastic job and kept it within my budget!!!!
