If food is your love language, look absolutely no further than Craft!!!
Prioritizing the menu above all else in the early days of wedding planning, my husband, Matt, and I taste tested our way around potential NYC restaurant venues. When Craft came up to bat, it's hard to say whether the hamachi crudo, seasonal rabbit agnolotti, or classic braised short rib and potato puree held the prize for top bite, but we were most impressed that each one of the 8 dishes we ordered that evening was a standout. What made our ultimate decision all the easier, however, was the warmth and hospitality we were greeted with at Craft. The whole experience felt cozy and familial, and we knew a wedding at Craft would provide the intimate feel we were looking for.
Fast forwarding now several months after our wedding, we're still receiving compliments from guests -- raving equally about the exceptional food, cocktails, & wine, as well as the incredible service. We opted to structure our entire event as cocktail reception (after all, the cocktail hour is always the best part!), with passed canapes and small plates, as well carving and pasta stations and passed desserts. My friends recant that every time they turned around, there was a staff member standing ready to offer a canape or switch out an empty drink. For those who chose to order instead at the bar, there was also never a wait as it was appropriately staffed to keep the beverages flowing.
Holly, the events manager and absolute MVP, and Darren, the general manager, were incredible to work with all throughout our planning process, and particularly as we were finalizing our menu and pinning down the day-of logistics. Chef Andrew and Chef Geoff worked magic in the kitchen -- all guests had glowing reviews of the food and left full -- and all of the wait staff (with a special shoutout to Cesar!) were so warm and attentive, and made the entire day go off without a hitch!
In a city filled with amazing restaurants, Craft truly stands above them all. I can't recommend them enough!
Having our wedding at Craft was the single best decision Kayti and I made in our wedding planning. We are big foodies and we knew that we wanted to get married somewhere with excellent food and service. We had been to Craft a handful of times over the past few years and decided that there was no other place we could see ourselves getting married.
Craft was incredibly prompt with fielding our initial request and Holly was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire leadup to the wedding, had amazing suggestions that ultimately made our special day even better, and was incredibly kind throughout all of it.
The day of the wedding went perfectly; we met Saul for the rehearsal a couple days prior and described how we would like everything set up. When we walked in for our wedding day everything was PERFECT. Our guests had so many amazing things to say about the venue, food, and service. The staff went out of their way to make sure that Kayti and I were taken care of amongst all of the craziness.
If you're considering getting married in NYC and are looking for a more intimate setting, definitely consider Craft!
