I went back and forth with Scott about adding additional live music to the reception portion. I ended up not and sticking with DJ Gary. He did not disappoint! He was awesome and had so much energy. He kept the night running smoothly. We had a smaller wedding and he still got everyone up on the dance floor. Most people danced all night. I could not recommend enough!

When we told Scott our first dance song was Perfect by Ed Sheeran (duet with Andrea Bocelli), he suggested an Italian singer to perform the song with the band. This was one of the highlights of our wedding for both us and our guests! We still watch the video of it almost everyday. Our afterparty was a piano bar which created a great mood after the hours of dancing. The pianist and violinist even learned songs specifically for our ceremony and performed them beautifully. We booked our wedding for late March 2020 and Scott was very easy to work with and accommodating throughout the planning and re-planning process. On the night of our intimate ceremony in late March 2020, Scott virtually played for us so we had something to walk down the aisle to. We finally had our dream wedding in March 2022 and it was worth the wait! Throughout the 2.5 year planning process, Scott would periodically reach out to my mom, which made her feel like they're friends. We cannot thank Scott, Nick, and the entire Craig Scott Band enough for helping to making our wedding absolutely incredible!!!

He suggested Matt Friedman and Uptown Sounds as we did not want one of the larger groups. Without hearing them in person, I have to admit, that we were a little nervous. However, after speaking to Matthew about a week prior to our wedding, our nervousness quickly subsided. He suggested we add a saxophonist, and we took his advice. He was spot on! That addition was incredible. The day of the wedding: all I can say is that it was a non-stop party. The band was absolutely amazing. Matt knew what kind of music we were interested in and tailored the set list to our taste perfectly. They even learned our first dance song and played Limelight by Rush, which was a HUGE hit! Even the servers were up and dancing with us, including my 91-year-old mother. I have no hesitation in recommending Matt Friedman; my only regret is that we may not get to hear them again!

From the moment we reached out to Craig Scott Entertainment about the availability for various bands, Scott (one of the owners) was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We felt like the company was interested in putting on a great show for our wedding guests -- not just putting on a show and collecting a check and moving on to the next act. When it came down to choosing our music, Nick (who is in the CSB and served as MC at our wedding) was patient, thorough, and organized. At our actual wedding, he kept things moving and under control, which was a huge stress relief for us. Now, the band itself -- wow, wow, wow. Multiple guests told us after our wedding that the band was the best wedding band they ever had heard, and we have to agree. The band had everyone up on the dance floor throughout the night and read the room so well, knowing when to speed things up and when to slow things down. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend the entire night on the dance floor. If I could go back to the beginning of wedding planning and do it all over, hiring the CSB would have been my first decision. I would recommend them highly to any couple who wants to be blown away.

Longer Review: Scott and team are incredibly easy to work with and are extremely flexible when it comes to selecting - arguably - the most important aspect of the reception. I started working with Scott and his team back in 2019 for our wedding that was supposed to take place in September 2020. When we had to postpone, it was incredibly easy and the entire company communicated everything incredibly efficiently. As you near your event day, Scott and his team will send you a questionnaire that covers the flow of the entire night and what types of songs you want played in the evening. You select genres you want "a lot of", "some of", "little of" or "none of" and Scott's team will run through the event flow. We requested a few songs and asked them to learn a new song which they did perfectly. Prior to the day, they will walk through the flow of the event with you to make sure they are pronouncing names correctly so that there are no hiccups. As for the night itself, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding band. The ceremony music was beautiful and elegant, the cocktail hour music was jazzy and upbeat and the reception music is playing constantly so there is always live music playing. No matter what the audience, they know exactly what songs get people up and dancing. I've been to more weddings with DJs than with bands but I can safely say that the band is worth every penny.

They had a lighting technician on-site throughout the reception which ensured the right ambiance as evening set. Our daughter's preliminary phone call with Gary a few weeks prior to the wedding was helpful as well, and Gary did a great job balancing the right combination of different music genres, including Greek music. The energy was perfect. Throughout the process, Craig Scott's administration office (Kathy) was as professional as Rich and Gary. A great experience!
