Nick and the team at Craig Scott Entertainment were amazing at our wedding. From planning, to setting up, to the day of, it was a BREEZE! They had the party bumping, and everyone raved about how great the band was. It was truly a highlight to a magical night.

The Craig Scott band played at our wedding and knocked it out of the park! They brought great music and energy, and our guests kept saying how much they loved the band. Our band leader Nick was also very easy to work with ahead of and during the event and had great suggestions on how to structure the flow of the evening. We'd highly recommend the Craig Scott band!

The Craig Scott band truly made our wedding at the Ryland Inn on 9/21 so incredible. My husband and I still cannot get over how amazing and talented each and every one of the members was. We chose Phase One Band for our wedding and they were incredible!! We loved how interactive they were with our guests and how they integrated into the dance floor. We interviewed many bands for our wedding, but none had the musicianship and crowd-working ability like the Craig Scott Band. Although we never attended an event with them, the video we saw convinced us to take a risk, and it paid off tremendously. From the start, all our calls with Scott and Nick were organized, and they always put us first, thinking through everything we needed. They even learned a few extra songs, like "Pinball Wizard," which is a challenging piece and held special meaning as a memory for my late father. Unlike other bands, they did not charge extra for learning these songs. When they arrived at our wedding, they were impeccably dressed and coordinated. They expertly managed the playlist to keep people on the dance floor—impressive for a Sunday wedding after a long holiday weekend. The band members frequently came onto the floor to interact with our guests, making it a truly unique and engaging experience. All our guests were so impressed that they asked for the band's information for their children's upcoming weddings. Trust me, if you’re reading this, book them now before your date gets taken. My fiance and I got married on 5/3/24 and had Phase One as our wedding band. Rich and his band were INCREDIBLE! The energy all night long was amazing - there was not one moment throughout the entire night where we didn't see our dance floor packed, which is exactly what we wanted! From the start of our wedding planning we new we wanted to have live music as part of our reception. Rich Bascomb and Phase One made our wedding complete! They were able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night long- it was truly like a live concert experience throughout the night with music from 80s, 90s, early 2000s, and contemporary hits. They accommodated all our song requests and first dances. We highly recommend using Phase One to all!

I had the most positive, amazing experience working with Craig Scott Entertainment for my wedding band, specifically City Heat. To start, they couldn’t be nicer people. The leaders of the band- Kyle & Matt, were so warm & friendly when I initially met & saw them perform at a local venue. After seeing the entire band perform a few weeks later at the Shannon Rose in Clifton, I immediately knew that they needed to play at our wedding. The months leading up to the big day, Kyle was incredible to work with. He was so kind & honest, and very responsive to questions I had- everything from potential song ideas & requests, discussed with me how the setlist & evening would flow- it made me feel so good & comfortable about everything. And when the wedding day came, OH MAN did they deliver!!! The band played everything we wanted & more, performed such a wide range of music, jammed out several songs (per my request), and had the dance floor packed all night. They executed at a high level and delivered an excellent performance. I am a live music junkie & frequently travel to see concerts. I easily attend 25+ shows per year and admittedly can be critical & hard to please when it comes to live music. So believe me when I say this- you found a truly excellent band in City Heat. Don’t hesitate to book them for your party and/or wedding!

We worked with the Craig Scott Band and I would recommend this band to anyone searching for a high energy, easy-to-work-with, and overall fantastic band for their event! My husband and I worked with Nick to curate a set list that worked for us, and Nick was super accommodating all the way up to a week before our wedding with requests and had great input throughout the process on how to make our night a huge success. And it was definitely an amazing night thanks to the Craig Scott Band — we and our guests (of all ages) were out on the dance floor all night!!

Craig Scott Entertainment as a whole was very easy to work with. They were able to quickly connect us with the individuals best suited for what we wanted and our vision, communicated quickly and clearly throughout the whole process, and ensured we felt supported and well taken care of. It was the customer service experience you would hope for when planning such a big event. The violinist and cellist Craig Scott provided were perfect. Not only were these musicians obviously talented, they were able to perfectly execute our requests and brought to life the atmosphere and vision we had for our ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ Gary was so helpful when planning our reception. He was always available and ready to answer any questions we had. Gary went out of his way to accommodate our requests and played music that got everyone on the dance floor all night. We got many compliments from our guest about the playlist he created.

Working with the company from start to finish was extremely easy and Gary took a lot of our recommendations for what music to play as well. CITY HEAT MADE OUR WEDDING!! From music at the ceremony, to keeping our guests dancing the entire night! The music was incredible. City heat will work with you to pick a general set list and go off the energy in the room. They were easy to work with - prompt with responses, and eased all of our anxieties through the process. If you do one thing for your wedding - do yourself a favor and book them now! They will not disappoint. They had all our guests (aged 22-85) on the dance floor. My father (who is also a singer) worked with them to dedicate a song to my husband and I during his father of the bride speech and it was executed perfectly. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Craig Scott Music was recommended to me by my venue (Liberty House in Jersey City). While they are renowned for their live music, we ended up going with a DJ for our reception and it was still amazing! Their pricing was super reasonable, and we had 2 live musicians for cocktail hour, and then DJ Carlos for the reception. Both of the musicians and DJ Carlos were on-time for the wedding day and did such a wonderful job. It was literally a party all night long and I couldn’t have been happier with everything. Special shout-out to their office admin. Kathy who was so nice and communicative about the payment deadlines!

The Craig Scott Band was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They are such a personal band to work with. I had mentioned ideas over the course of wedding planning and made comments that were taken and ran with. They surprised us several times during our reception with songs we had mentioned, learned several songs to personalize our day, and were so welcoming to all of our guests. Scott and Nick went so above in the planning process and made us feel like we were their only event they had on their mind. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and we will cherish them forever in our memory! I hope to attend more events with them as they truly were the best band we’ve ever heard!

Booking Rich Bascomb and Phase One was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! My husband and I are musicians so hiring a great band was highly important to us. We’ve been lucky enough to go to a few weddings with live bands and we can confidently say that Phase One is the absolute best in the business! Our photographer said she’s never seen so many people on the dance floor before the bride and groom’s entrance! Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had, specifically mentioning how incredible the band was. From day one, Rich was extremely easy to work with and did everything we asked of him and his band. We really wanted our wedding to be a dance fest (think Gypsy Bar in Atlantic City) with high energy, sing-along, modern songs. They played every song we requested, kept with the genre we wanted and even learned new songs we asked for! The energy on the dance floor was never ending, and since the band members rotated taking breaks, the music was continuous. I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight the sheer TALENT of the singers and musicians. It’s one thing to get everyone dancing to the well known high energy songs, but it was such a treat to enjoy the band’s skills during the slower songs. I cannot rave about this band enough, and wish we could do it all over again!

My husband and I hired Craig Scott for our entire wedding from live musicians during the ceremony + cocktail hour (piano and guitar) to a DJ through the reception (DJ Carlos). We initially found them through a list of preferred vendors provided by our venue, and after our first call with Rich we knew they’d be able to help make our day perfect! The team as a whole is so friendly and responsive, and was always willing to get on a call to discuss any questions we had!

Nick worked with us for our live musicians, and helped make the planning process so easy. We had a few songs to transition through for our ceremony and he organized everything perfectly, even when we weren’t sure if our specific songs could be accommodated, to give us the perfect medley of music. Carlos from start to finish was the perfect DJ for us. He gave us his personal number to talk to him about specific songs and vibes for the reception, and went above and beyond to deliver and give us the emo, punk rock night of our dreams. Everyone was on their feet dancing the entire night, and when there was the occasional short lull, Carlos knew exactly what to do to get everyone up and dancing again! All of our guests complemented how much fun our wedding was because of the amazing talent at Craig Scott. Thank you so much again!

We couldn't be happier that we chose Phase One as our Wedding Band!!! From our first meeting with Rich, Phase One was amazing to work with and super open to our taste/style and suggestions. While some bands were put off by our extensive song list during the interview process, Rich and Phase One fully embraced it and so clearly tapped into our songs/vibe on the night of the wedding. They played such a wide range of music and crushed every song! They were even able to play a more tropical house type song for our entrance which we thought would need to be played through a phone for sure - and they killed it!!! Our dance floor was absolutely ROCKING!!! Not only did Phase One feed off the energy of the crowd and play consistent bangers, they also came out on the dance floor with their mics/instruments and were part of the party with us and our guests. While the whole band was amazing, we got so many comments on the female singers voices. They are SO talented!!! Our guests cannot stop talking about how great our band and their songs were. The whole night was nonstop fun and energy, the dance floor was constantly packed, and it was truly the best night of our lives thanks to Phase One. Believe us - hire them!!!

The Craig Scott Band played at our wedding in December 2023, and we couldn’t imagine having any other entertainment. They were absolutely phenomenal! Just a few songs into the wedding, people were already asking us who they were and if they could have business cards. Our wish was that the night would be filled with dancing, and the band had no problem making this happen. Nick made the whole planning process incredibly easy, and he was just a joy to hear throughout the night. Scott was incredible as well, and they were both so sweet to work with. My husband and I first heard about Craig Scott Entertainment through my sister who booked Matthew Friedman and the Uptown Sounds to play at their wedding last year. This band was absolutely incredible so we just knew we had to book them for ours! We just recently had our wedding on 11/04/2023 and the band crushed it! Our guests were raving about how great they were so believe me when I say that a 5 star rating is just not enough for these guys! Matt was so much fun to work with and offered a ton of guidance which helped our day flow perfectly. The band even learned a few songs for our wedding that weren’t already on their list which we are grateful for as one was our first dance song. You really cannot go wrong with CSE and Matthew Friedman and the Uptown Sounds. Truly incredible talent! I wish we could re-live this day over again and again!!

5 stars is not enough to rate the job Rich and Phase One did at our wedding in September. The band was nonstop all night, playing hit-after-hit of songs that got the entire room up on the dance floor. Even when dinner was being served, the band still played classics that had guests standing at their tables watching in awe. I can't tell you how many people came up to me stating this is the best wedding band they have ever seen play...I know it sounds cliché, but trust me, this time it is true. Leading up to the wedding, Rich was a pleasure to work with, spending a considerable amount of time understanding the types of songs we wanted to have played and getting a feel for the age breakdown across guests to tailor the music perfectly. Hiring this band is the biggest slam dunk and will ensure people remember your wedding for years to come.

We had sent them a list of song requests from our guests, and they easily played everything from Taylor Swift to Earth, Wind and Fire and the dance floor was packed the entire time!! They also did a great job working with our wedding coordinator to create a smooth and seamless wedding event. If you are considering a band, put this one on the top of your list you will not be disappointed!!!

We found Matt Friedman and the Uptown Sounds through CSE and couldn't have had a better experience. Before the wedding, Matthew reached out to us to ask us about our music preferences, songs we liked and that they would use the list to curate a playlist for our wedding based on our vibes. We thought we had a pretty good schedule of what we wanted the night to look like but while using Matt’s knowledge of having done over 2500 weddings, we changed up the timing of some things and am I happy we did. The night was a blast and almost every guest told us how much they loved the band. They were able to play every song we had requested. We loved the music for the ceremony, the cocktail vibes, the upbeat band for dancing, the more mellow music for dinner to allow for some conversation and the rocking out all the way until the end of the night. They had every person up and out of their seats until the venue closed down. I could not recommend them more to be your go to band for ANY event.

We recently had DJ Carlos for our 200+ person wedding in June and he was AMAZING!! We have had SO many people continue to talk about how awesome our DJ was and how he kept the energy up all night! We also took a "risk" and only gave him 3 song requests (which he made sure to play) but he absolutely crushed it!! We highly recommend Rich Bascomb and Phase One for a wedding. They were excellent, kept everyone dancing and having fun but not overwhelming. During interludes of the meal a guitarist played solos and then during another the bassist and keyboardist collaborated. Just the right songs and pace. What musicianship! Rich and the band catered to our demographic and genre. The front office of Craig Scott Entertainment is friendly, timely, and easy to work with from Nick, Kathy and Craig himself. A slam dunk, one less thing to worry about in your planning. THANK YOU Rich and Phase One. Craig Scott was phenomenal! Nick was fantastic from the beginning and worked with us and our venue to make sure our timeline made sense and that the dancing was maximized. On the day of the wedding, the band was extremely engaged with the crowd -- the musicians and singers were out on the dance floor multiple times throughout the night and had everyone super energized! Everyone was absolutely raving about them and they truly made our wedding reception a blast! 10 out of 10 recommend!

DJ Gary was EVERYTHING. He was super attentive and engaging and so so so kind. He did not miss a single one of our must play songs and did so at all the perfect times! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

The Craig Scott band helped make our wedding magical. All of the instruments, and singers were phenomenal, and went over and above to ensure we had the perfect mix of music for our guests. They also helped in the planning process to create our wedding timeline and went over and above to incorporate unique aspects like my now husband playing one song on piano. We booked Matthew's band having full confidence that they would blow the roof off our venue, and we were not disappointed! The band learned several songs that were not on their already expansive repertoire, and the set list was stellar from start to finish. This band is tight! The musicians would sometimes step out onto the floor, hyping up the crowd, and that's when the night would erupt. So many of our guests said this was the best wedding they ever went to, no doubt due in part to Matthew and his incredible band. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for the best bang for their buck. There is nothing like a live band!

OH MY GOD. Craig Scott Band was incredible. I have had multiple people come up to me and tell me that it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to because of the band. Escaped played at our ceremony and reception on September 16th and they were amazing! People have not stopped commenting on how great they were. Ken was awesome and listened to all of our requests and made our wedding so special and exactly what we wanted. They were incredible and the dance floor was packed all night! Working with Craig Scott entertainment was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding process. Nick worked with us to really learn about who we are as a couple, what we wanted for our party, and from our first call with him, exhibited such passion for making the party everything we wanted it to be. Craig Scott Entertainment is much more than a good band that plays a fun range of wedding music. They are a truly unique blend of artful musicians, and lack any presumptuous vibe and throughout the entire night, seemed to be having as much fun as anyone. They were so much more than just a band on stage, they were a part of the party, and even jumped onto the dance floor with their instruments in the most approachable and genuine way. We are awaiting the next chance to have a party that would require their attendance, and recommend them from the bottom of our hearts.

We had Phase One Band for our wedding and they were incredible. They picked great songs that were a great mix of more modern and some older hits. People of all age groups raved to us about how great they were. They engaged with the crowd which was so much fun. On top of all of this they were easy to communicate with in the weeks leading up to our event which made everything run smoothly. Could not recommend more highly!!

We had the great pleasure of using Matthew Friedman & The Uptown Sounds for our wedding and they were FANTASTIC! Matthew was so accommodating and receptive to what we wanted through the process. He learned a difficult song in 3 days for our entrance song and it was unbelievable. He is a talented professional on all levels! We used an 8-piece band (added a trumpet) and it was PERFECT! They truly made it the most energetic party atmosphere playing a wide range of music and ALL of it was well done and flowed. All night long people were asking where we found the band because they were the best they'd heard. They allowed the Father of the Bride to join them on stage for 2 songs, playing bass, and it was one of the highlights of the evening. Cannot stress enough that this is a PHENOMENAL band that will make your wedding everything you hope for! Matthew Friedman & The Uptown Sounds...YOU ROCK...THANK YOU!

We loved working with Rich and Phase One. We knew from the minute we talked to him he was the vibe we wanted for our wedding band. They let us request a bunch of songs to play, and we also trusted them to feel out the room in the moment. The room was electric from the first song to the last. Everyone was up on the dance floor (including the bandmembders) from the very beginning which was all we every wanted. We also added a DJ for our after party which was amazing vibes. He played the exact style we wanted and took requests from the crowd as well. We would recommend Phase One to anyone looking to have the BEST vibe at their wedding.

I cannot begin to imagine our wedding without the Craig Scott Band!!! They were simply INCREDIBLE in every way! Nick, Scott, and the team really know what they are doing and their guidance and ideas really made our wedding what it was. We chatted with several bands but after our initial call with Scott, we just knew CSB had to be it! In the months leading up to the wedding, Nick would call to check in often and was SO helpful and patient as we tried to decide on instruments/entrance songs. He was also integral in helping to develop our timeline and I am SO happy we went with his suggestions -- such as, to have our guests up and dancing before we make our entrances, invite everyone onto the dance floor directly following our first dance, etc, as their goal is to keep the energy UP and it is exactly what they achieved! I was a bit hesitant to have the band learn our first dance song, but Nick assured me they could do it and they seriously knocked it out of the park, even accommodating a 'dress rehearsal' a few minutes before the reception started. They also mashed together a few songs for our father/daughter dance -- we could not have made it more complicated for them and it was seriously perfect, down to every beat -- they are really just so impressive! We had a brunch the morning after our wedding and everyone could not stop talking about the band!! Choosing Craig Scott Band was easily the best decision we could have made for our wedding and I could not recommend them more!

Rich Bascomb & Phase One are the best of the best. The band exceeded our expectations and delivered our dream wedding party, along with beautiful music to accompany the ceremony and cocktail hour. We had many calls leading up to the wedding day to ensure that everything went smoothly, and Rich and his team understood exactly our vision, which was high energy and minimal breaks in action. The hora was so much fun, the singers were out on the dance floor with us all night, the song choices were perfect (they read the crowd perfectly), and the flow of the evening was spot on. Rich was more than a pleasure to work with in preparation, as well as on the day of. The only thing I wish is that we could have kept the night going forever. We had multiple guests and family friends asking us who the band was because they "hadn't danced that much in years and had so much fun!" Many people commented on how incredible the female vocalist's voice was. It's a no brainer to go with Rich and Phase One for your next event. I cannot recommend them enough.

Uptown Sounds was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate our playlist and our guests. They were awesome to work with and I will be recommending to all my friends. The guests at my wedding RAVED about this band for days, after dinner not one person was in their seat- the band had EVERYONE dancing. Love them!!!!

We hired Craig Scott Entertainment for our wedding and it was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. They kept the party going the entire night. At one point and looked around and no one was sitting down at their tables. The majority of our guests came up to us throughout the night (and weeks after) and said this was the best band they have ever heard at a wedding. They had excellent song choices and a great ability to read the room. They were very easy to work with and I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a band at their next event.

Phase One was the best wedding band, not only by my standards and my husband's, but by every one of our wedding guests. They kept our entire reception on time from the introductions, speeches and cake cutting to making sure that there was plenty of time on the dancefloor. I was so impressed with the band's wide variety of music and they took the time to prepare the setlist based on our preferences and musical tastes of our guests. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for another large party because your entertainment is completely taken care of when they're in charge!

The Craig Scott Band from Craig Scott Entertainment was the best part of our wedding! When we first time we met Scott at our initial meeting, he was very honest, helpful, flexible, and generous. We are now 1 month past our wedding date and have received endless compliments about the Craig Scott Band. Guests from all ages were on the dance floor the entire night- the energy was high, the musicians were phenomenal, and we were extremely impressed with the MC and band's ability to assess the energy in the room and who was on the dance floor and change the music accordingly to make sure there were no lulls in the night. Nick, the MC, was very organized, accommodating, and supportive in making sure the flow of the night was smooth, personal touches of the reception were included, and the party was able to continue for the entire evening. I could not recommend the Craig Scott Band more, and our guests inquired about this vendor more than any other vendor we used at our wedding. We wanted our wedding to be lively and inclusive of all of our guests, and the Craig Scott Band far exceeded our expectations.

The Craig Scott Band was absolutely amazing! Our guests could not stop raving about the music. Phase One played at our wedding on Jan 21st 2023. We told Rich the band leader that we wanted a party - gave him some suggestions, but basically said we trust their judgement, and get everyone on the dance floor. They were incredible!! Weeks later, everyone is still raving about how fun our wedding was. It was such a good time and Rich and the Phase One team is a major reason why. Someone told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They are all so talented - everyone kept telling us the female singer should be famous, and multiple of our guests said the male singer did the best, most fun shout rendition they’ve ever heard. We would book them 100 x again - go book phase one!!

We worked with Craig Scott Entertainment in November for our cocktail hour music. We had a pianist and upright bassist duo perform, and they provided the perfect music for our event. Our family and friends loved it, and they really elevated our cocktail hour. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for event music!
