We are so happy that we chose The Phase One band for our wedding in November 2024. The guitarist during the ceremony, the pianist at cocktail hour and The Phase One Band at our reception, made our wedding a dream come true. Rich was amazing to work with and made the experience of booking a band and picking songs easy and stress-free. We are SO happy with the songs that the band played. Almost a month later and our guests still talk about how amazing the band was and how much fun they had! We were dancing with our guests the whole night. Picking this band will be one of the easiest and best decisions of your wedding day!

We had such an amazing time working with Craig Scott Band. They were very diligent and detailed from our initial call with them, then in the follow up and planning, covering everything in a ton of detail. The day of the wedding they were absolutely awesome. From the first song they had the entire party up dancing, and that didn't stop all night. They also helped our family members sing during the reception, as well as played some non-traditional music over MP3 during dinner for us. I would recommend them to any couple looking to get married.

Best band ever!!!!! Seriously, all of our guests could not stop talking about how great Phase One Band was at our wedding! Rich, the band leader, was so great to work with leading up to the big day. The Craig Scott band truly made our wedding at the Ryland Inn on 9/21 so incredible. My husband and I still cannot get over how amazing and talented each and every one of the members was. We knew the experience was going to be great but we were truly blown away. Nick, Scott and the team were so great to work with leading into the wedding. Phase 1 from Craig Scott was amazing!! The party started the second we made our entrance and it never stopped. I’ve never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding. It felt like a live concert, there was so much energy coming from the band. They did an amazing job of adjusting the music to the vibe of the party and the guests. Could not recommend them more!!!

We interviewed many bands for our wedding, but none had the musicianship and crowd-working ability like the Craig Scott Band. Although we never attended an event with them, the video we saw convinced us to take a risk, and it paid off tremendously. From the start, all our calls with Scott and Nick were organized, and they always put us first, thinking through everything we needed. They even learned a few extra songs, like "Pinball Wizard," which is a challenging piece and held special meaning as a memory for my late father. Unlike other bands, they did not charge extra for learning these songs. When they arrived at our wedding, they were impeccably dressed and coordinated. They expertly managed the playlist to keep people on the dance floor—impressive for a Sunday wedding after a long holiday weekend. The band members frequently came onto the floor to interact with our guests, making it a truly unique and engaging experience. All our guests were so impressed that they asked for the band's information for their children's upcoming weddings. Trust me, if you’re reading this, book them now before your date gets taken. They are absolutely incredible, and even my family, who are musicians themselves, were blown away

My fiance and I got married on 5/3/24 and had Phase One as our wedding band. Rich and his band were INCREDIBLE! The energy all night long was amazing - there was not one moment throughout the entire night where we didn't see our dance floor packed, which is exactly what we wanted! We gave a couple of songs beforehand that we wanted played, but the band took the rest and ran with it and everything was perfect. From the start of our wedding planning we new we wanted to have live music as part of our reception. Rich Bascomb and Phase One made our wedding complete! They were able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night long- it was truly like a live concert experience throughout the night with music from 80s, 90s, early 2000s, and contemporary hits. They accommodated all our song requests and first dances. We highly recommend using Phase One to all!

I had the most positive, amazing experience working with Craig Scott Entertainment for my wedding band, specifically City Heat. To start, they couldn’t be nicer people. The leaders of the band- Kyle & Matt, were so warm & friendly when I initially met & saw them perform at a local venue. After seeing the entire band perform a few weeks later at the Shannon Rose in Clifton, I immediately knew that they needed to play at our wedding. The months leading up to the big day, Kyle was incredible to work with. He was so kind & honest, and very responsive to questions I had- everything from potential song ideas & requests, discussed with me how the setlist & evening would flow- it made me feel so good & comfortable about everything. And when the wedding day came, OH MAN did they deliver!!! The band played everything we wanted & more, performed such a wide range of music, jammed out several songs (per my request), and had the dance floor packed all night. They executed at a high level and delivered an excellent performance. I am a live music junkie & frequently travel to see concerts. I easily attend 25+ shows per year and admittedly can be critical & hard to please when it comes to live music. So believe me when I say this- you found a truly excellent band in City Heat. Don’t hesitate to book them for your party and/or wedding!

We worked with the Craig Scott Band and I would recommend this band to anyone searching for a high energy, easy-to-work-with, and overall fantastic band for their event! My husband and I worked with Nick to curate a set list that worked for us, and Nick was super accommodating all the way up to a week before our wedding with requests and had great input throughout the process on how to make our night a huge success. And it was definitely an amazing night thanks to the Craig Scott Band — we and our guests (of all ages) were out on the dance floor all night!!

Craig Scott Entertainment as a whole was very easy to work with. They were able to quickly connect us with the individuals best suited for what we wanted and our vision, communicated quickly and clearly throughout the whole process, and ensured we felt supported and well taken care of. It was the customer service experience you would hope for when planning such a big event. The violinist and cellist Craig Scott provided were perfect. Not only were these musicians obviously talented, they were able to perfectly execute our requests and brought to life the atmosphere and vision we had for our ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ Gary was so helpful when planning our reception. He was always available and ready to answer any questions we had. Gary went out of his way to accommodate our requests and played music that got everyone on the dance floor all night. We got many compliments from our guest about the playlist he created.

Working with the company from start to finish was extremely easy and Gary took a lot of our recommendations for what music to play as well. CITY HEAT MADE OUR WEDDING!! From music at the ceremony, to keeping our guests dancing the entire night! The music was incredible. City heat will work with you to pick a general set list and go off the energy in the room. They were easy to work with - prompt with responses, and eased all of our anxieties through the process. If you do one thing for your wedding - do yourself a favor and book them now! They will not disappoint. They had all our guests (aged 22-85) on the dance floor. My father (who is also a singer) worked with them to dedicate a song to my husband and I during his father of the bride speech and it was executed perfectly. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Craig Scott Music was recommended to me by my venue (Liberty House in Jersey City). While they are renowned for their live music, we ended up going with a DJ for our reception and it was still amazing! Their pricing was super reasonable, and we had 2 live musicians for cocktail hour, and then DJ Carlos for the reception. Both of the musicians and DJ Carlos were on-time for the wedding day and did such a wonderful job. It was literally a party all night long and I couldn’t have been happier with everything. Special shout-out to their office admin. Kathy who was so nice and communicative about the payment deadlines!

The Craig Scott Band was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They are such a personal band to work with. I had mentioned ideas over the course of wedding planning and made comments that were taken and ran with. They surprised us several times during our reception with songs we had mentioned, learned several songs to personalize our day, and were so welcoming to all of our guests. Scott and Nick went so above in the planning process and made us feel like we were their only event they had on their mind. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and we will cherish them forever in our memory! I hope to attend more events with them as they truly were the best band we’ve ever heard!

Booking Rich Bascomb and Phase One was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! My husband and I are musicians so hiring a great band was highly important to us. We’ve been lucky enough to go to a few weddings with live bands and we can confidently say that Phase One is the absolute best in the business! Our photographer said she’s never seen so many people on the dance floor before the bride and groom’s entrance! Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had, specifically mentioning how incredible the band was. From day one, Rich was extremely easy to work with and did everything we asked of him and his band. We really wanted our wedding to be a dance fest (think Gypsy Bar in Atlantic City) with high energy, sing-along, modern songs. They played every song we requested, kept with the genre we wanted and even learned new songs we asked for! The energy on the dance floor was never ending, and since the band members rotated taking breaks, the music was continuous. I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight the sheer TALENT of the singers and musicians. It’s one thing to get everyone dancing to the well known high energy songs, but it was such a treat to enjoy the band’s skills during the slower songs. I cannot rave about this band enough, and wish we could do it all over again!

My husband and I hired Craig Scott for our entire wedding from live musicians during the ceremony + cocktail hour (piano and guitar) to a DJ through the reception (DJ Carlos). We initially found them through a list of preferred vendors provided by our venue, and after our first call with Rich we knew they’d be able to help make our day perfect! The team as a whole is so friendly and responsive, and was always willing to get on a call to discuss any questions we had!

Nick worked with us for our live musicians, and helped make the planning process so easy. We had a few songs to transition through for our ceremony and he organized everything perfectly, even when we weren’t sure if our specific songs could be accommodated, to give us the perfect medley of music. Carlos from start to finish was the perfect DJ for us. He gave us his personal number to talk to him about specific songs and vibes for the reception, and went above and beyond to deliver and give us the emo, punk rock night of our dreams. Everyone was on their feet dancing the entire night, and when there was the occasional short lull, Carlos knew exactly what to do to get everyone up and dancing again! All of our guests complemented how much fun our wedding was because of the amazing talent at Craig Scott. Thank you so much again!

Just a few songs into the wedding, people were already asking us who they were and if they could have business cards. Our wish was that the night would be filled with dancing, and the band had no problem making this happen. Nick made the whole planning process incredibly easy, and he was just a joy to hear throughout the night. Scott was incredible as well, and they were both so sweet to work with. The singers were amazing. We truly credit the fun of our wedding to The Craig Scott Band!!!

5 stars is not enough to rate the job Rich and Phase One did at our wedding in September. The band was nonstop all night, playing hit-after-hit of songs that got the entire room up on the dance floor. Even when dinner was being served, the band still played classics that had guests standing at their tables watching in awe. I can't tell you how many people came up to me stating this is the best wedding band they have ever seen play...I know it sounds cliché, but trust me, this time it is true. Leading up to the wedding, Rich was a pleasure to work with, spending a considerable amount of time understanding the types of songs we wanted to have played and getting a feel for the age breakdown across guests to tailor the music perfectly. Hiring this band is the biggest slam dunk and will ensure people remember your wedding for years to come.

We were thrilled with our decision to contract with Craig Scott Entertainment for our wedding! CSE was a preferred vendor of our venue, and they were incredibly easy to work with! We chose City Heat, one of the many talented bands with Craig Scott and they were phenomenal! The band played live music from the first moment of our wedding to the last song and really set the party mood! This is an incredibly talented 8-piece band with male and female lead singers. We had sent them a list of song requests from our guests, and they easily played everything from Taylor Swift to Earth, Wind and Fire and the dance floor was packed the entire time!! They also did a great job working with our wedding coordinator to create a smooth and seamless wedding event. If you are considering a band, put this one on the top of your list you will not be disappointed!!!

I have been to so many weddings where the music was deafening and left everyone with a headache, but not at ours. He really did such a great job at keeping the music at an appropriate volume while also still creating that fun party atmosphere. We found Matt Friedman and the Uptown Sounds through CSE and couldn't have had a better experience. Before the wedding, Matthew reached out to us to ask us about our music preferences, songs we liked and that they would use the list to curate a playlist for our wedding based on our vibes. We thought we had a pretty good schedule of what we wanted the night to look like but while using Matt’s knowledge of having done over 2500 weddings, we changed up the timing of some things and am I happy we did. The night was a blast and almost every guest told us how much they loved the band. They were able to play every song we had requested. We loved the music for the ceremony, the cocktail vibes, the upbeat band for dancing, the more mellow music for dinner to allow for some conversation and the rocking out all the way until the end of the night. They had every person up and out of their seats until the venue closed down. I could not recommend them more to be your go to band for ANY event.

We recently had DJ Carlos for our 200+ person wedding in June and he was AMAZING!! We have had SO many people continue to talk about how awesome our DJ was and how he kept the energy up all night! The dance floor was packed the entire time and we have to thank DJ Carlos!!! Craig Scott was highly recommended by our venue and being an extremely type A bride, I felt like I really "risked" it with choosing a DJ, having not heard him perform before. We also took a "risk" and only gave him 3 song requests (which he made sure to play) but he absolutely crushed it!! DJ Carlos talked with us to understand what sort of music/vibe we wanted for the night and was professional throughout the process. If you book Craig Scott and especially DJ Carlos---THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

We highly recommend Rich Bascomb and Phase One for a wedding. They were excellent, kept everyone dancing and having fun but not overwhelming. During interludes of the meal a guitarist played solos and then during another the bassist and keyboardist collaborated. Just the right songs and pace. What musicianship! Rich and the band catered to our demographic and genre. The front office of Craig Scott Entertainment is friendly, timely, and easy to work with from Nick, Kathy and Craig himself. A slam dunk, one less thing to worry about in your planning. THANK YOU Rich and Phase One. Craig Scott was phenomenal! Nick was fantastic from the beginning and worked with us and our venue to make sure our timeline made sense and that the dancing was maximized.
