From the first time we met her during our virtual consultation, we knew Barbara was going to be the perfect fit for capturing our story! She has a very sweet, humorous, laid back p...
ersonality which made it really comfortable for us to be ourselves in front of the camera. She clearly is experienced, knows ALL the angles and does a great job communicating her vision in the moment. She makes it fun! At the same time though she is one of those photographers who is totally open to ideas the couples have and that was much appreciated. Barbara provided us with an engagement shoot as part of our wedding package as well, which I think really helped us on our wedding day, having already had a session with her and knowing her style and vibe. Again, she makes you feel super at ease in front of the camera which is as important as anything else in a photographer. Don't think twice about who to pick for capturing your big day, we can't recommend Barbara enough! P.S. Be sure to ask her about her video options as well, they are a beautiful addition to any photography package!
I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Barbara. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is personable and professional. She was the only photographer willing to do a z...
oom call with me so we could interact in person (as much as one can being in a totally different state) and made me feel so comfortable and confident in my decision. She was very quick to respond to any questions I had via email and made sure that we were all on the same page for the wedding day timeline. She even met with me and my fiance a few days before the wedding for coffee so we could chat and finalize any last minute details. Her photography is amazing, her artistic eye and skill set is one of a kind, and from the first moment I spoke to her it was like catching up with a longtime friend.
Capturing a wedding has so many high expectations and Barbara had exceeded them with leaps & bounds! If you are looking for a highly reliable, personable, and skilled photographer,...
Barbara is the one.
From our initial consultation, we felt very comfortable and at ease with her personality & energy, which is highly important under a (potentially) high stress wedding day. Barabara has the patience of a saint when it comes to wrangling the entire wedding party, a set of dogs, & a VERY drunken uncle (đ).
Barbara was super flexible with our plans as we wanted to do a separate photoshoot from the venue & at different times of the day (photoshoot was in the early morning while the wedding was early afternoon).
We highly appreciated her guidance, from recommending the best times to take photos at Garden of the Gods (an hour later and the parking would be difficult to find) to encouraging us to try different poses that were less comfortable for us (we are not big PDA people) but not to the point where we froze up from anxiety. She was very in tune with us.
ALL the photos came out simply amazing: the posed photos, the stills of the venue/background, & the candid moments. She was also SUPER FAST in getting the reception photos done & following up with the rest of them! She exceeded the number of photos she had promised. She always delivered when she said she would.
Thank you for perfectly capturing one of the best moments of our lives with such care.

ediately felt like family which is good because my husband is definitely not a people person. And her pictures were amazing. It was so fantastic not to have to worry at all on our wedding day. We set up a photo timeline with her a month before our wedding day and after that, we didn't have to think about when or where to be! She took care of it all! Such a relief! You should definitely book her. We're certainly glad we did.
We drove in for our elopement at Garden of the Gods and Barbara was fantastic! I was so worried because it was raining as we pulled up but the sky cleared just enough and Barbara g...
ot some amazing photos with the dramatic sky over the mountains! She kept great communication and very knowledgeable about spots to take photos at (which was good because we'd never been to Garden of the Gods before we got there!) I highly recommend!
Barbara was probably the best choice we made for wedding vendors. Her approach to creating a beautiful photograph was so intentional yet she put us totally at ease. My husband (the...
n fiancé) and I were so nervous about our engagement session but she made us feel very comfortable and even helped us loosen up. I really felt as though we got to know her even though it was such a brief period of time that we spent together overall. The quality of the photographs will stand the test of time and really speak for themselves. They are romantic, brooding, and luxuriant which matched our décor and colors perfectly. Our engagement photos were more flirty, but still classic just showing that she has a deep understanding of creating a feeling with the way she edits photos. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely look to book her in the future for other photos.
Barbra is the best and was above and beyond what I expected for our wedding! Sheâs original, talented, incredibly easy to work with and extremely prompt (we got our pictures back w...

Seriously the best vendor of our entire wedding. We met her at a LGBTQ networking event and knew right away we wanted her to photograph our wedding. She not only got a lot of great...
photos of my partner and I but she got pictures of everything I could've possibly wanted. She got photos of the kids dancing at the reception and of my best friend setting up our guest book and of my in-laws meeting my extended family who flew in all the way from India. It was all the stuff I didn't get to see since I was so busy. She is really one of the best candid photographers I've seen and I am so glad we met her and so glad she was able to be part of our wedding.

t her, we were in love. She came up with some great shoot ideas for our engagement photos and helped us plan our wedding day so we got some of the best photos I could've hoped for. But beyond that, she is also one of the kindest people I've met and we were blown away again and again by her thoughtfulness all the months leading up to our wedding. You should definitely pick Barbara when picking your photographer. She does more than just take pictures, she winds up being your friend.

ofessional and kind. She knew how important certain pictures were for us (like me and my grandma) and made certain I got some beautiful ones. Then we had a slideshow of the best images from the day sent to us that night! She was so fast in getting us our pictures it was amazing! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer.

aotic families for group pictures, coached us through poses, drove us to River Market, the lock bridge, and the Central Library downtown in between the ceremony and the reception. Iâve heard of people having to wait weeks for their wedding pictures. Barbara literally had ours ready the day after the wedding. We could not have asked for a better photographer.

into pictures and working with Barbara was our first time really doing anything professional. She was on time, and captured moments I wouldn't have even thought of. Her prices are amazing and made it possible for us to even consider having the photos done. She made us feel so comfortable and blended in at the same time. I cannot thank her enough!
