e, but frankly aren’t always as beautiful as those unplanned. We were fortunate to have him photograph both our engagement photos and our wedding. During our engagement session, we had two full hours to take photos, and, lucky for us, I learned first-hand that Randy has such a great eye for finding beauty wherever you are. All of our pictures were so stunning that we had a VERY difficult time picking out our favorite ones for the save the dates (which is a great problem to have). Prior to the wedding, he met with us in our own neighborhood and went through every detail with us thoroughly. He was so available and adaptable to any last-minute wishes or changes. On the day of, he and his partner were prompt and helpful in guiding us along, ensuring to capture things I did not even think of. Basically, he was our unofficial coordinator. He also was patient in letting me have the time to celebrate with my loved ones while also guaranteeing that not one photo was missed, which I think shows his experience in allowing that balance throughout the day. When we received our wedding photos, they were all above and beyond what we could have hoped for. I continue to have a hard time picking which ones I want to showcase in albums and around the house—there are too many amazing photos to choose from! He also captured all of our guests throughout the day, and going through the pictures was like reliving the day all over again from so many different perspectives. If I did it all over again, I would hire Randy in a heartbeat! I recommend him 1000%, and am so grateful for all the work he did for us throughout this chapter of our life!

ained ALL day. I'm not talking about a light rain, it was a down pour at some points and we were not able to get outside to take any photos. When we got back from our honeymoon, I had an email from Randy letting us know that he wanted to do outdoor photos to add to our portfolio. WOW!! Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised that he would offer to do that for us. We met up with him downtown and got some really great shots and we are so glad we did that! Our wedding party was pretty large. With the size of the party plus family photos the group was a little unwieldy at times but Randy and his second shooter did a great job rounding us all up to get the shots that we wanted. We have yet to see our final gallery because we just took the outside photos but I have no doubt they will be beautiful! His professionalism can't be beat and he really went above and beyond by taking the time out of his busy season to come downtown to take some shots to add to our gallery. When our wedding day rolled around, it was one aspect of the event we could feel really comfortable with knowing our photography (and our memories) were in such capable hands. Randy brought a different eye and different perspective to the photography, and it was great having. We knew that everything was covered and not just from one perspective! Our package included engagement photos that we took downtown one afternoon/evening. Rado already had amazing locations picked out that he took us to throughout the city to snap some great shots of us in the city. The pictures were developed and delivered quickly and we couldn't have been more impressed, Rado did a great job capturing the grandness of the city while keeping it personal. The weeks before the wedding was when we were really thankful we booked with Rado. Those crazy weeks were a little less stressful with the help of Rado and his team. We were given a detailed schedule of the wedding day which eased our anxiety even more. The day of the wedding was a breeze. Rado met with me and my bridesmaids early AM at the salon while one of his additional photographers met with my fiance and his groomsmen where they were getting ready. From then on it was such a pleasure working with both of them. We didn't even know they were there at times, allowing for personal moments between family members, friends, bridal party, etc. but at the same time capturing those moments for us to cherish forever. The actual ceremony was photographed amazingly. We were married outside with beautiful fall colors behind us that Rado incorporated to every picture, taking advantage of the colors and setting sun. Viewing the pictures of the reception brings us right back to the day and makes us feel as if we're there again. Rado and his associate were able to capture the intimacy, laughter, fun, dancing, and all the other memories of that night better than we could have ever expected! This pictures were delivered to us within a few weeks via an online portal as well as a copy of the pictures on a personal USB drive for us to keep. The pictures are AMAZING, each picture is better than the last making for some amazing memories and helping us share the day with those that weren't able to make it. Even after the wedding day, Rado has been in constant contact helping us with our album as well as any other questions we might have. It was such a joy working with him and his team and wouldn't change a thing if we did it all over again! Thank you Rado!!

After getting the run around at the “big name” companies, meeting with sales people and not the actual photographers, getting duped into signing a contract not knowing we had to purchase an album (ah yes the old album pitch at the end of the spiel that cannot ever be excluded out of the price trick) in order to get our pictures copy right released to us, and all these different packages “to meet your needs,” that once all said and done realizing you flew past the bronze, silver, and gold packages to find yourself in debt on the “platinum package” to fit your special 4 hour wedding with an amateur photographer …. A WEDDING… that these companies and sales people have no RESPECT or PASSION for because they think they can pick out of a line-up of photographers who “fits” your personality and needs! I get it, it’s a business but seriously try to show some sort of compassion towards the people that want nothing but the best for their very special day, other than dollars… and more dollars! So After meeting with Randy, we instantly knew that he was the photographer that we wanted for our wedding day. He listened very carefully to the type of pictures we wanted, and openly shared with us his previous work. He made us feel very relaxed when we were making decisions, and he NEVER ONCE tried to pressure us into a package that we didn’t want or couldn’t afford, even when it came to the photo album. He traveled to Chicago where we had an amazing day taking engagement photographs. He arrived on time on the day of our wedding and stayed late into the night capturing many photographs that we will cherish forever. His turnaround time with our pictures was UNBELIEVABLE. He provided us with more pictures that we could have only dreamed about. I am overall extremely happy with everything, and I highly recommend Randy to any couple planning a wedding in a heartbeat!

I love every single one of my 2,000+ pictures I cant pick which ones I want to print for myself! I only provided 4 stars in that out of nearly 2300 photos there are only a few printable photos of myself and my new husband. There are so many beautiful candids but no traditional poses of the two of us. I am disappointed. Perhaps I should have spoke up and found some time for us to take more photos together, however, there was so much else on my mind and we had just spent 3 hours taking photos . Overall, I would recommend Harald and Dorata, just be sure to voice any concerns and speak up for what you want.
