We contacted Crave Events Group because they were the contact for one of the bride’s and groom’s preferred venues. We initially spoke with Emily Decker who advised us that the venue was not available, however, she worked with us to find an equally beautiful location in Stockton, NJ. Later we met with Liza Stankowski, our “Memory Maker” from Crave. During our meetings with Liza, she went over the offerings, options and wedding day activities. Liza walked us through every piece in a simple and informative approach. There were hundreds of decisions - some simple, some complex to be made all along the way. Liza gave us the compressed planning timeline (normally a 12 month schedule) and guided us on decisions in our meetings and through emails. Liza kept us on track for the entire process. As we got close to the wedding day, Liza accepted a promotion and turned-over the planning to her colleague Kenzi Dignes. Kenzi took over without missing a beat though Liza was still involved in the background. Crave offered many options to allow us to completely customize the day. The pricing was clear and very reasonable. Crave provided us with wedding planning – organizing each step along the way. They managed the wedding day including the ceremony set up, seating, beverages, catering, timing, etc. The reception was flawless from start to finish. The carving stations were fantastic and the ice cream bar was a huge hit with our guests. Nothing was forced or rushed but they got us (bridal party, parents, guests), where we needed to be when we needed to be there whether for introductions, toasts, dinner courses, etc. Lisa, Kenzi and the entire Crave staff did a fantastic job with the wedding from initiation to execution. The bride and groom were blown away and couldn’t say enough about the perfection of their amazing day. We highly recommend Crave.

David especially was amazing to work with, from always being available to answer any questions we had to being our point person the day of - his professionalism and positive attitude throughout the entire process is impressive, exemplary, and truly made the process so much fun. Thank you CRAVE for making our wedding day the best day of our lives, and one that we will never forget!

hey served were delicious. And there was plenty for everyone. The signature drink was delicious. Then the dinner - it too was delicious! Our family has food allergies and David was wonderful in supplying appropriate meals with no fuss that also were delicious (I had a previous experience with another caterer who was willing to serve special meals but served them to the wrong people - what a disaster). The cake was part of the package through a bakery and it looked lovely and tasted scrumptious. THEN they served excellent sweets and coffee.
On top of that:
When we first arrived, everyone was hassled and anxious. David and every member of the catering crew were such a pleasure to work with. They handled the shepherding of guests from one place to another, as well as handing out programs and water, making sure the guests were comfortable. The woman assigned to help the bride was incredible! She was warm, competent, hard-working, and devoted to helping my daughter have a wonderful time.
On top of that:
Every member of the staff was not only competent but so warm and friendly! Even at the end of the evening, while they worked efficiently to clean, they were kind and friendly and willing to help after a long day. They helped make my daughter's wedding a joy.
First, this review is not for the food. The Crave caterers were contracted with my venue to provided the tenting. We were required to pay ($300) for an event monitor the day of the...
wedding, and this event monitor was not present. When I followed up after the wedding, I did not get an explanation (or reimbursement) for this.
