My daughter contacted Felix about videoing her wedding. We were very disappointed in his lack of communication and unprofessionalism. No contract was signed, but he asked for a $500 NONREFUNDABLE deposit. He went weeks without replying to emails. He said he was on vacation and his assistant failed to look at his emails. Then he asked for an additional $300 to travel 58 miles to the venue. Of course we cancelled him because we were worried what the day of the wedding would be like and we lost our $500 deposit. When I messaged him to ask for the deposit back, this was his response, acknowledging their failure to communicate.: “We planned on being there originally but unfortunately WE FAILED TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY our general response time with weddings. She has cancelled our services and any and all money spent past the $500 deposit minimum was refunded if any additional money was sent. We were saddened to have been cancelled but understood she found someone else for the date DUE TO OUR COMMUNICATION TIME. We plan to establish a better update system for future services similar to her situation. Hopefully this clears up the ordeal!” (Emphasis added) I contacted Felix several times requesting the refund of the $500 before posting this review.
