was so nervous I considered not hiring one at all, but of course I wanted to look spectacular and feel pampered on my wedding day! I reached out to a LOT of salons and independent artists in the area. I also spent hours looking through photo galleries of their work. It seemed like everyone either did hair or makeup I liked, but not both... not until I stumbled across Mia's socials. I was immediately impressed with her hair AND makeup work, so I contacted her. When I reached out to Mia, she got back to me instantly. She was kind, answered all my questions, and assured me that whatever style I was going for, she'd nail it and make sure I looked spectacular (spoiler, she was right). When she arrived for my hair and makeup trial all my nerves went out the window. She was hilarious and easy to talk to, it really made the entire experience fun. When I showed her some hair/makeup styles I liked, she asked questions and was super detailed. At the end of the trial she told me to take notes and write down anything I may want to change for the wedding. As someone who is otherwise anxious and hates to critique other people's work, I really appreciated this. On the wedding day, Mia arrived right on time and was completely set up when the rest of my party showed up. The entire morning she worked her magic all while enduring my super goofy friends (and curious cat). We had a blast talking to her and she made my party and I look AMAZING. The additional makeup artist who came to help was awesome too! When they were finished, everyone looked incredible and couldn't have been happier, myself included. Not only that, but their work held up ALL DAY, from ceremony to bedtime! Overall, Mia made the entire process stress-free and I felt BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. She is truly talented and I can't thank her enough. If you are looking for a true (and FUN) professional, I HIGHLY recommend Mia and her team for any of your hair/makeup needs.

She put dedication into styling my hair as well as my bridesmaids hair based on what we each told and showed her that we wanted. Everyone’s hair looked perfect and held up throughout the entire day because Mia used the best products and took her time with making sure each piece was exactly right. st this last weekend she did all the hair for my sister’s wedding and again, all hair turned out so good and stayed all night long. She also did my hair and makeup for a boudoir shoot and it came together perfectly. She is the sweetest and so easy to have a conversation with. She is super talented and creative. Her assistants are all wonderful as well and only works with the best! No question I would 100% hire her in the future and recommend her to anyone.

(9/5/20). I did a hair and makeup trial with Mia a few months later and I absolutely loved it (long curls with a side braid). But flash forward to when we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, nearly a year later I had a change of heart and decided that I wanted a completely different hairstyle for the wedding. Mia was so understanding and I ended up doing a second hair trial to try out an updo this time (with hair extensions) which again, I totally loved! Now onto my actual wedding day (6/19/21) I threw Mia for a loop when I yet again switched up my desired hairstyle. Rather than be annoyed or flustered at my last minute change, she was actually excited, graciously took on the challenge and did the most amazing job! I loved how my hair turned out and I got so many compliments on it from my wedding guests. Possibly most importantly, my hair stayed perfect all night and I even texted Mia a photo of it at 2:30am to show her how good it still looked! My makeup was also done beautifully and I loved that the airbrush was an option. It was a super hot summer day and not a single girl had issues with their makeup despite being super sweaty. I highly recommend Mia and her team for anyone’s wedding day, especially if you’re a bride with a large bridal party like I was! I am 110% satisfied with her services :)

I usually don't wear makeup and even though I told other make-up artists this I always left not looking like myself. Now, for the hair I had a few ideas and she explained which she thought would be best for my hair type as well as compliment my dress. I am super picky with my hair and she exceeded my expectations. I danced the night away with a bobby-pinned tiara on my head and when I got home at 2am that morning it looked like my hair was just done an hour ago. Mia and her girls made me feel absolutely like my best self and I would recommend her to anyone who will listen. My bridesmaids, mom and mother in law also were more than pleased with how beautiful they looked and we had a very diverse group of people. My mother in law for example has fine thin hair and wanted and updo and bought extensions, you would never have known it wasn't her hair. My sister has super curly dry hair and they worked some miracle and she looked flawless. I am so happy with my choice to go with Mia, if you are having doubts, just set up a trial she will exceed your expectations!
