Joanna at Creative Bridewear made the alterations for 4 gowns for my daughters wedding. We were thrilled with the work she did. Especially since she noticed an adjustment that needed to be made to my daughters wedding gown that I hadn’t noticed myself. Her attention to detail was truly appreciated. Joanna provided alterations for four gowns in total and her cost was very reasonable. My daughter was concerned about how her bridal gown would look when bustled. There was quite a bit of material that made up the train. Joanna showed us various bustle styles and helped my daughter select one that was perfect for her dress. I had a great experience! I had a bridesmaid dress that we ordered from Europe so the sizes were very different and my dress only fit in the waist, it was extremely long, the straps and hips were crazy, plus the dress had a slit, over lay, and train that made it impossible to walk! When I left the shop, I loved the dress! It fit me perfectly and I was already looking for other places to wear it, I highly recommend using Joanna!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful to say the least, but one thing I never had to stress about was my gown. From the moment I had my first fitting, I knew I was in terrific hands with Joanna. She is a talented seamstress who took the time during every fitting to make sure I agreed with her alterations and I felt confident. She was able to reconstruct the bodice and make my backless dress fit me like a dream! Although our wedding plans had to change numerous times, I knew that no matter when or where we got married I would look beautiful thanks to Joanna.

Joanna did an excellent job with my wedding dress and cape! The dress has ALOT of lace, tulle, and appliqués, but she was up for the challenge and made the dress fit to perfection and in record time. I would highly Joanna for bridal alterations.

Joanna is very talented, and I'm so glad that I had my wedding dress altered by her. During all the stress of wedding planning, I knew I didn't have to worry about my dress because she's so good at what she does. My dress had a lot of material and no bustle, so she made one, and it looked great! Her creativity and skills are extraordinary, and I highly recommend her services.

Joanna displays incredible talent, is highly professional, and in my case, a wedding lifesaver! I purchased an expensive gown from a bridal salon that came recommended to me and opted to have alterations done by the in-house seamstress. The dress was entirely beaded and had very intricate details, so I was hesitant to have alterations done anywhere else. To my disappointment, the in-house seamstress did a shoddy job and the alterations cost me an arm and a leg. Even after repeatedly voicing my concerns with the fit, I was told the dress could not be altered anymore and was forced to leave the shop in discontent. I went home and cried because the dress just did not fit the way it was supposed to, and my wedding was less than a week away. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended Joanna, and she accommodated me without hesitation. In a matter of three days, Joanna fixed all of the mistakes the other seamstress had made and altered the dress to fit me perfectly (redid the hem, cups, seems inside; took it in on the sides, pinched the sweetheart neckline so it was more secure. Remember, entirely beaded gown). She listened to my concerns, offered her professional opinion, and made me feel like I was born to wear that dress! She was also far more reasonable than the bridal salon. Without Joanna, I would’ve felt disappointed on one of the most important days of my life. Not only did she alter my dress, but on the day before my wedding, she was able to hem my mother’s dress, too. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her time and talent. I would and do recommend her to anyone who needs any kind of alteration. She is nothing shy of truly amazing! Thank you, Joanna!!!

I went to Joanna for alterations to my wedding gown. I needed the top of my dress taken in, cups added, a bustle and a new sash attached. I was beyond pleased with Joanna's work and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality alterations. I bought my dress off the rack at David's Bridal and Joanna made my gown look like it was custom designed for me. Joanna was thorough, detail oriented and respectfully offered her professional oppionion in order to create the best product possible. Not only was her work outstanding, Joanna was very flexible in meeting for my three fittings.

Needed alterations for my wedding gown. My gown was very expensive and the cost for alterations at the bridal salon was outrageous. I decided to search for an alterations expert and found Joanna. I was nervous about taking it out of the salon for alterations however Joanna put me right at ease. She was extremely professional and knew exactly what to do. Her attention to detail produced nothing but perfection! My wedding was on a holiday and she made herself available for any last minute questions or emergencies. She is an extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional alterations expert. I absolutely recommend her over any expensive salon (which up charge for even the simplest of alterations).
