The cake was delicious and exactly what I pictured! I ended up adding something last minute and the bakery manager was more than happy to make a change. They were easy to communicate with, and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple delicious wedding cake.

Cake tasted amazing. Cake tasting was easy. Got to pick it up and try it at home at our convenience.

Creative Cakes by Donna makes delicious wedding cakes that can be as simple or complex as you want! The flavors are insanely delicious and hard to choose between. They offer a tasting box to take home that has great sized pieces of different cakes and filling, and the take home box is such a nice idea because you can have a little date night at home while trying your wedding cake. My cake turned out perfectly, guests loved the non-traditional Praline filling that I picked, and the simple frosting design that I wanted was perfect. Donna makes amazing cakes, and her team was a pleasure to work with.

The cake was included in out package, but we did have the option to pick between two different bakeries. Hands down Creative Cakes by Donna was the winner. While we had some different ideas about what we wanted, Donna was great at making sure we got exactly what we wanted. If you want great tasting cake at your wedding make sure you contact Donna!

Creative Cakes By Donna was very easy to work with and they created an Oreo wedding cake that looked classy and tasted delicious! We got lots of compliments on the cake and would definitely recommend them for any special occasion!

We primarily worked with Ellie at Creative Cakes by Donna. She was wonderful and our cake came out perfect. The tasting box we were provided with gave us so many options and they were all delicious! We ended up choosing an almond cake with coconut frosting. I could eat that cake every day, it was incredible. They were great to work with!

Working with Donna on the cake for my wedding was one of my favorite parts of the entire planning process. She is so passionate about her job and it shows- her cakes are delicious! I'd recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or a special event!

Donna makes THE BEST CAKES. HANDS DOWN. You're going to have a HARD TIME making the decision on flavors! What's lovely is that her flavors are rich but the cakes themselves feel lighter than most. While still decadent. It's amazing. She NAILED the exact design that I wanted from a simple picture. INCREDIBLE! And the option to add flowers for a small extra charge was a perfect touch. They are ARTISTS!

We got married six weeks ago and I am still dreaming of how amazing our wedding cake was! I can’t wait until we get to eat the top tier for our anniversary. Seriously, Donna was a pleasure to work with and our cake was stunning to look at and most importantly, delicious.

The cake for our wedding by Donna was so delicious and beautiful. She was wonderful to work with in coordinating, from getting samples to taste to making sure everything was just how we wanted it for our wedding day. We highly recommend!

The cake was included with our venue, but Donna did a beautiful and tasteful job! We met once with her in person, and she was able to create exactly what I was envisioning based off a few inspiration pictures. She gave us a plate of different bases and icings so we could try a variety of variations which was both fun and yummy! The cake was delicious and perfectly light/refreshing after dinner.

We had a great experience working with Donna and her team! They provided us with a plate filled with different cakes and frostings that we got to try to help make our selection easier. We ended up going with cupcakes which were fun because we got to choose 3 different kinds, and Donna was really helpful with giving advice about what worked nicely with others and was honest if she didn't think my pairings didn't work best which I truly appreciate. We ended up doing the almond flavor for our cake topper and it was so good!

Donna was a joy to work with. She is a true professional. You can tell why she is such a trusted person when it comes to wedding cakes. She was easy to communicate with and was one of the venue’s preferred vendors and you can tell why from the taste of the cake and the process that went into getting it made. She gave us plenty of options to choose from. The cake tasting was a lot of fun. She gave us several different cake and filling flavors to take home and try. Everything was customizable and delicious. We had an almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling and pearl encrusted designs on it and the cake was executed exactly as we envisioned and was delicious! Blazing Fresh Donuts Jodi was a gem to work with! She was open about what types of donuts would be a good fit for a large event. Her and her staff made 120 donuts fresh and packaged them individually to be used as wedding favors. They were delivered right on time with no issues. If you’ve ever had Blazing Fresh Donuts you know they are as good as any donuts anywhere. If you haven’t had Blazing Fresh Donuts, you should check them out. They are phenomenal. Our guests loved them as much as we already did!

Donna's cake was amazing. She was very easy to work with and truly made my cake exactly how I had visualized it in my head. We picked the vanilla chocolate marble cake with the mocha cappuccino filling and it was DELICIOUS! We could not have been happier with how the cake came out.

Donna's cake was delicious and BEAUTIFUL! Our guests just loved how it tasted and had nothing but great things to say. Donna was a pleasure to work with and gave multiple tasting options to choose from. She took some designs we had and brought them to life in a simple but elegant design. We were also able to get GF cupcakes to add for our guests with allergies. (Cake flavor chosen: vanilla cake, strawberry cream & fresh strawberries)

Our wedding cake came out beautiful! When we had our tasting, we received a nice array of cakes and frosting to try. Our cake came out gorgeous! Highly recommend

Donna was amazing! From the tasting to the big day she was always there for us and gave us exactly what we were looking for! She even worked with our florist to get our flowers on our cake, and helped us to incorporate our dog. The cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing, all our guests were raving about it. Great experience all around!

Donna make our dream wedding cake and we can't thank her enough. When choosing our cake each sample was incredible and we ended up using her signature chocolate cake with a chambord mousse and fresh raspberries. With her guidance we were able to easily decide on our frosting and floral design that matched our vision best! Our guests are still calling us a week later and raving about the cake and we hope to be able to work with Donna on any cakes we need in the future.

Donna makes beautiful and delicious cakes! We requested a black forest cake and she explained that she could do it but there would not be too many cherries due to structural integrity. The cake was amazing and there was plenty of cherries! The cherry pie filling with the chocolate buttercream and chocolate cake paired perfectly!

What can we say? Donna NAILED it. We had our wedding at the mystic seaport on 10/23/2021 and to say we were blown away by the cake would be an understatement. Not only was it beautiful, it was moist and delicious. We went with the spice cake and spice filling, many compliments from guests, some saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. We were very pleased with every thing and can't recommend her enough!

We loved our cake from Donna! We got our cake through our wedding at the Pond House as one their preferred vendors. She gave us a plate of samples - they were all delicious - and we chose red velvet cake with french vanilla frosting and sanded sugar on the sides. She made a beautiful and incredibly delicious cake for us - highly recommend!

Donna made things easy and was super helpful of our weird schedule since we were doing everything from out of town. We gave her minimal direction but told her about our colors, venue, and generally what we looked. She delivered with a beautiful and classic cake that everybody said was the most delicious wedding cake they had ever had. We worked with Donna as a part of our wedding package through Saybrook Point, and she was fantastic. We are currently living out of state, so she coordinated with my in-laws to provide more tasting samples to them. Donna was flexible with our rescheduled date one year out due to COVID-19. She was responsive to both myself and my planner, and incorporated our design ideas perfectly. Our cake was ornate and the lemon raspberry flavor was incredible for a hot summer night. Usually, you see lots of leftover pieces of cake at a wedding; however, almost everyone finished their serving and complimented us on how tasty it was. We highly recommend Donna! She does a wonderful job of bringing my clients visions to life in the form of a stunning, classic, tiered display of cake, frosting, florals, colors, design. And most importantly, the flavors are absolutely scrumptious! It's always a great sign to see clean plates after the dessert course -- no cake left behind! The day before my wedding when I was such a hot mess, Donna and I met. The plan was just a quick drop off of the cake topper, but it turned into a wonderful discussion. I left there ready to walk down the aisle. She calmed my nerves, I knew everything was in good hands. When I got to the venue and saw my cake it was just stunning. Absolutely beautiful. At the reception I found it hard to eat. I had time but just everything was soo awesome I didn’t want to sit and eat a full meal, however I did finish my cake slice. That cake was delicious! Several guests commented on the cake. They loved it. It was light and fluffy- not like a normal wedding cake that’s dense and full of flavors that you aren’t sure what they were exactly going for. It was awesome. Donna delivered the cake herself too! Forever grateful. I feel as though I made a new friend. I’ll be ordering cakes again from her, and recommending her to EVERYONE! Right from when I first called her she was friendly and accommodating and took the time to go through different options with me. She gave us lots of samples to take home when we went in for a tasting and was up for any design and decoration we wanted. She followed up with us as the wedding date got closer and was also really flexible when we changed our minds about the design 10 days out. Donna worked with our venue and florist to pull of the logistics of the cake delivery without a hitch, which also made our lives easier on the day of. Our cake was gorgeous and so delicious! We did chocolate with chocolate mousse with light raspberry filling. Many guests remarked that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. We intended to freeze the top for our anniversary but the cake was so good we had it the next day with family!! Would highly recommend Donna to bake your wedding cake!
