Monica and Mary were the best! From the FREE cake tasting, the outstanding pricing and the most delicious cakes! They worked with our constant venue changes due to venue filing bankruptcy etc. They adjusted the quantity when we needed and they even traveled all the way from their shop to Denton to set-up the groom's cake and wedding cake while we were at the chapel. The cakes were AMAZING!!! I normally hate cake, of any kind, so does the bride. And it was FABULOUS!!! That was the moistest most delicious cake I have ever had. We received numerous compliments on the cakes and it was all demolished. I cannot thank you guys enough for such delicious cakes and for working with us and getting this all set up. I wish you could do all our future cake orders, but us living over 5 hours away might be a problem.

Monica created my wedding cake and it was simply beautiful. I told her what I envisioned with my wedding theme colors and when I walked into my wedding reception the cake was sitting there just as I had imagined. One of the easiest vendors to work with during the whole wedding planning! I would highly recommend using Creative Cakes by Monica for any of your Cake needs!

The cakes we received were both beautiful and delicious. They delivered both in a timely manner and were very helpful with figuring out what we wanted in the first place.

Only giving them one star because the cake tasted good. When we went for a tasting, the cake tasted good but there was a sense of unprofessionalism I should have payed more attention too. Our planner suggested them so I was trusting it would be okay. (Not her fault though) my husband is in the Air Force and they told us they could do a model of the jet he is on flying into a sky cake. This was in September, we gave them pictures and all. The day of the wedding they show up with my cake ( not looking like it was supposed to be I rolled with that). They showed up with a sky cake for his cake, without the jet. The one thing I wanted for him to be special and they had to fail us. Saying “they got busy with Valentine’s Day” so unprofessional and made me cry. We said we didn’t want to have just a sky cake out so our caterer stepped up and decided to put it in the back and just slice it and serve it. All this to be said, don’t try and save a few bucks on the cake , you get what you pay for

OMG her wedding cakes are amazing! All brides want our wedding cakes to look Beautiful and perfect but most importantly to taste as good as it looks!! Monica delivers on both those her Champaign -based batters are out of this world we had complements all night and weeks later on the cake. And even though she is a little ways from where I live I will drive to her store to get my cakes for any special occasion from now on. Thank you for making our wedding day 9/2/2018 so wonderful.

I was a little hesitant booking my wedding cake with Monica after they were somewhat unprepared a couple times when I came to do tastings, but on the wedding day Monica did not not disappoint. She made beautiful bride and groom cakes and they were delicious (they have a ton of flavors to choose from too). They looked exactly like what I wanted and we got so many compliments. I will definitely be a return customer when I need a cake or cupcakes for an event.

We went with Creative Cakes by Monica because her cakes tasted amazing and she had such a reasonable price. Two weeks before my wedding, after my mom had already made a down payment and told them what we wanted, they called saying I hadn't picked flavors, and they had never made an order form stating what we wanted. They were going off our consultation form from our first visit where we had discussed prices and options. Once my mom and I got everything sorted out, made final payments, and confirmed delivery times we thought everything was good. The day of the wedding the cake was supposed to be delivered at 2pm. They had both my mother's and my phone numbers. The cake was over an hour late, and NOBODY called us. My uncle had already called Albertson's to ask them to make an emergency cake. When the cake finally got there, it was FROZEN solid. My husband and I could barely cut it. The cookies were hard as a rock unlike what we had tasted at her store, and they were very tiny compared to what they said they were going to make. As the cake started defrosting, it started sagging to one side and didn't look like it should have. I understand that they may have to freeze the cake a day or two before, but my grandpa who was a baker for 30 years said it tasted like the cake and cookies had been frozen for several days. The least they could have done was make sure it was defrosted before delivery. It was such a disappointment.

Monica turned our vision into a reality! We did a cake tier and cupcakes which made everything so easy! Everyone could just grab what they wanted and it was the perfect portion size. We even had leftovers! She provided the stand for us as well and delivered so there was nothing to worry about. Our cake tasted amazing and to this day she is hands down my favorite baker! Thank you Monica and your staff for everything!

Monica created my wedding cake and groom's cake and both were absolutely PERFECT! My bridal cake was so incredibly beautiful! And my husband's groom's cake was EXACTLY what he wanted. Not to mention they both tasted amazing and were VERY reasonably priced. I'll definitely be using Creative Cakes for any of my future cake needs!

Moist and delicious! It was hard to narrow down the flavors but we settled on champagne and peach bellini! I can't wait for our one year so I can dig into our top layer! Monica was very nice and accommodating through the whole process!

Creative Cakes was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator… We scheduled a tasting with Monica and booked her! The cupcakes were delicious, and she worked with us to give our wedding guests six different flavor options as well as create my husband's dream triple chocolate Texas cake. They provide delivery and setup services as well as cake stand rentals… They happened to forget our stands, so they purchased some nearby as a quick fix, which wasn't exactly what we had in mind, but it worked out just fine. It definitely didn't affect our guests raving over the groom's cake and cupcakes!

I found Creative Cakes by Monica at a Fort Worth bridal show. Every vendor's cakes had been sitting out for a while and most were either a wee bit stale (fair enough, no judgment here, it had been about 7 hours) or trying to overcompensate by making their cake way too moist, resulting in something more akin to cakey not-cold ice cream. When I tried Monica's cakes though, I knew that I had to take my hubby for a full cake-tasting. A month later, when we tried it out at her Azle store (with her even making time for us on Easter weekend at the last minute), we were sold. We set our deposit right then and right there and when we were discussing cake decorations and I said I wanted 3D butterflies on the cake, she called her other store and found gorgeous butterflies in our colour. My mother then indicated that she would like to taste test with us a week later when she came down. Even though Monica already had something scheduled and we had already booked with her, she scooched around her schedule enough so that my mother, my aunt, and I could come in and taste test (and my mother could contribute her opinion on the decorations) for a second time. Best cake I have ever tasted, hands down (and I am a very picky cake eater). Whenever I was out in the area (or I made it a priority to be out in the area for cupcakes), I would always swing by just to pick up a six-pack of her cupcakes! When it came to our wedding cake, it was beautiful and perfect. Her designs were astounding and brought our dreams for what our cakes would look like to life. She was just absolutely phenomenal and our one complaint was that we didn't get to eat more at our reception!

We used Monica for our wedding in Azle, TX at The Orchard. Upon meeting with her she allowed us to sample a variety of flavors and was extremely helpful when it came to questions we had. She is very knowledgeable and able to do anything you have in mind! Not only did our cakes turn out amazing, we didn't lose any flavor. We will be eating our cake topper next summer and look forward to that same great taste.

I didn't get much of my cake but what I did have was amazing and so beautiful! They don't use fondant they use butter cream. It was so good and beautiful! They really listened to what we wanted and indulged in my husbands request to have a radial engine for the grooms cake! It was so cool! If you want a great tasting work of art, Monica's creative cake is for you!

I loved Monica because they do not use fondant. They only use buttercream. Their prices worked for us. The brides cake came out just beautiful and the grooms cake was perfect. My husband is a Packers and OU fan and he wanted a cheese head base with an OU helmet sitting on top. My husband was so excited. I didn't get much cake on the wedding day, but the samples when we went to the tasting were so good! She is highly recommended!

This is literally the best cake I have ever put in my mouth! It has such amazing flavor and is so moist and delicious! They have so many flavor options and can do any shape and size! I could not have been more happy with my cake and our grooms cake which was a vintage golf bag and looked amazing!

The moment I tasted one of Monica's cake balls I knew this was the cake for me. It was beautiful, reasonably priced, and delicious! Best yet, she figured out how I make buttercream icing look just like fondant (but without the fondant taste!)!!

Our cake was delicious and beautiful! Monica went about and beyond our expectations! She was so easy to work with and never got stressed or frustrated.

I first heard of Monica's when my sister was getting married a lady in my mom's office refered her. My sister got married in Azle, TX (where Monica is located) last year. After tasting her cakes it was a hands down winner. So of course, when my husband and I were planning our wedding I told him Monica's was making our cake. He isn't much for cake, but once he went to the tasting and had her cake and cake balls he agreed it was the best he had ever tasted. I got a some what simple design on my cake I had them do almost a lace over lay on the cake with running rhinestones. My husband had a cake made out of cake balls in the shape and design of a Republican Elephant. Monica's was so resonable on their price and one vendor I didn't have to worry about. I am still recieving compliments on her cake, and my husband and I plan to go get some more cake balls soon.

Our cakes were perfect in every way. Only sad we didn't take the time on our wedding day, to enjoy some cake ourselves. Oh well, at least we got a taste when we smothered eachothers faces with it, lol.

They did my brides cake (three tier) and the grooms cake. The brides cake was gorgeous! The three tiers (white chocolate raspberry; strawberry; regular wedding cake) were so delicious! Of course the top (regular wedding cake) is in the freezer, butI'm sure it will be yummy too. The grooms cake was a CB radio! They did such an awesome job on it...it looked just like an actual radio!! This cake was strawberry velvet...YUMMY!! I ordered enough for about 100 guests, and the price was perfect! I will definitely use them again for other parties!

While I didn't really eat a piece of the cake the little I did have was so good!! Monica has so many pictures and designs to choose from you can build the cake of your dreams!
