I can say this because these ladies literally bustled my dress when no one else could remember how to. Having them as part of our day was like inviting an old friend and while that was amazing, the photos they delivered blew us away. I can’t speak more highly of them and their craft. They are nothing short of amazing!

We spoke with married friends and parents who had a wide variety of experiences with their photographers and it quickly became apparent this is one of the places you need to be the most picky. Friends with a bad photographer never wanted to look at their pictures, but the better ones got pulled out once or twice a year, sometimes more. It’s not just about finding someone you vibe with and who has a good eye. A truly great photographer goes beyond current trends for timeless beauty, knows there’s more to editing than filters, has a deep understanding of angles, lighting, and direction, and is an expert at herding cats. Because no matter how well organized or planned your wedding is, that’s what it’s going to be, herding cats. Rachel and her assistant Maddison went above and beyond in a number of ways from offering umbrellas when the weather threatened to turn to pulling out her own hair tie for my wife and putting it in a bun when she couldn’t find a bridesmaid quickly. When we pulled out bubble guns on the dance floor, they snapped a few amazing pictures and then ran to grab a cloth so no one would slip. Even though we had an absolutely amazing wedding coordinator, Rachel and Maddison were with both sides of the wedding party for almost the entire day. They were available whenever needed and invisible when things really got started. And still, less than a week later, we had some initial pre-edit shots that floored us. Finding someone who wasn’t just okay with LGBT stuff, but was actively advertising it was important to us as we had a fairly diverse wedding party. Rachel and Maddison made us all feel comfortable and gorgeous. The quality of the work is stunning and we’ll both be able to remember the absolute best of the day thanks to their work. Even if there’s a little sticker shock, trust us, the photographer isn’t somewhere to skimp and, honestly, it’s a steal for what you get from Rachel Beth Creative. Best book her now before she raises rates because she could certainly get away with it.

We had a blast during our engagement photo shoot, we laughed and she captured our relationship perfectly. g Rachel was the best thing I did for my wedding. Not only is she insanely talented at making beautiful photography, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about weddings and keeping you as stress free as possible. When you get Rachel, you get more than a photographer; you get a whole damn entourage! I got married during the heat advisory in July and totally swayed through my hairstyle. Rachel managed to restyle it into a beautiful updo, so I got two hairstyles for my day! She helped fix my bustle when it broke, helped me get drinks since I was so busy, and just all around added an extra level of support that you’re not going to get from anyone else. Also, on the topic of the horribly hot wedding day, Rachel was incredibly mindful of how long we were outside and kept things moving but still got loads of beautiful pictures. She also managed to make me look dewy and glowing in my photos- not like the overheated, sweaty mess I actually was, haha. Fast forward a few months, and I worked with Rachel again for a self love/boudoir shoot. Not only was I comfortable despite my body dysmorphia, but I loved the photos I got back. As a newlywed, it was a wonderful set of photos to share with my new husband! I hope I get to work with Rachel to document the next milestones of our new life together.

She was also available with so many great recommendations for vendors throughout our engagement process. Fast forward to our wedding day and she saved the day. Rachel got my huge wedding party and family organized giving me all the photos I wanted FAST. She was there for me to get me a drink of water, umbrellas if needed and even helped me bustle my dress. We then received our sneak peek the NEXT day. I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer and highly recommend her and her amazing work.

very soul of the day. We did a backyard/farm wedding completely put together by friends and family and her pictures show that warmth and love. She was so easy and wonderful to work with- she was like a best friend. My husband is not the most emotional out expressive person, but she made us both feel so comfortable and encouraged that it was easy to get those precious moments. Nothing about our wedding was typical or even very organized and Rachel flawlessly worked with us and made it all come together. We were very blessed to have her and can't wait to work with her, and her husband in the future.
