Absolutely amazing !!!! Customer service, awesome presentation and cannot even begin to say how good it actually tastes !!!! There isn't anyone better ....
We hired Ms. Betty for our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about working with her. Everyone raved about the cakes and still are even three weeks after. After trying so ...
many wedding cakes and other local bakeries, I can without a doubt say she makes THE BEST cakes I have ever tasted.
We had a horrible experience with Betty Weber. She was nearly impossible to get a hold of during the whole process. The week of the wedding we began to panic when we were not able ...
to get in touch with her until three evenings prior to the wedding. At this point be began looking for a back up plan. She finally returned my call after several days and attempts. We agreed that evening that the cakes would be delivered by 2 pm. On the day of the wedding my cakes did not show up until 10 minutes prior to my ceremony starting which was at 6:30. My coordinator repeatedly asked for an eta and was told they are doing the best they can. When we called at 6:00 asking where the cake was we were told by Betty to figure it out, she was at another wedding. Due to the late delivery my reception was delayed. When we saw the cake it was not the quality I was promised . The lace piping I requested was smushed and messy. The cake stand I requested was not the stand that was delivered. To add to everything else my personalized wood topper was also broken. When cutting the cake it was falling apart due to not being baked until a few hours prior to my wedding. Yes the cake tasted amazing but due to her tardiness, my reception was delayed causing other issues that evening.
I cannot tell you how delicious the bride and groom's cakes were at my daughter's wedding. Besides, the unbelievable taste, they looked like they had come out of a society magazin...
e. They were EXACTLY what we had asked for. If you want a phenomenal cake, get Betty! No joke.
Our wedding cake and groom's cake were both beautiful and tasted soooo good! My florist and event coordinator both told me Betty was THE BEST for cakes. She absolutely is! Everyone...
at the wedding raved about how delicious our cakes were! They couldn't believe that the cakes looked so great and tasted amazing. We had Betty's special chocolate cake for the groom's cake and many people at the wedding said it was the best cake they have ever eaten! Betty is also so nice to work with. I found that she responds very quickly if you contact her by phone. I felt like she was part of my family, making the cakes for our special day. She is absolutely great and her cakes are the best you will find in the whole Southeast USA. 5 STARS!
Our wedding cakes by Betty were amazing!
We were married on Jan. 10, 2015 at Old Christ Church and the reception was held at 5eleven.
We got so many compliments on both the brid...
e and groom cakes! My husband is a big Game of Thrones fan and Betty shaped his into a direwolf made out of the Chocolate LaCream Cake and mine was a 3 tiered buttercream Almond Cake.
She was a pleasure to work with and achieved everything that we wanted and more. Coordinating with her was also easy.
Thank you Betty! We hope to order more cakes when we're in Florida to celebrate our anniversary!
Betty makes BEAUTIFUL wedding cake but more important than being pretty is the taste of the cake!
Our wedding cake was so gorgeous and it was even prettier than the original desi...
gn that I requested. inside of the wedding cake was strawberry and everyone said that our wedding cake was so delicious!
If you're having a wedding in Pensacola area, definitely she should be your wedding cake baker. She is extremely well known in the area for good reason.
I have been using Betty now since 2006 when my niece got married, for parties & weddings (6 weddings since 2006) I have never had a piece leftover -at my daughters wedding my husba...
nd & I didn't even get a piece of cake!! My son got married 7-26-14, 212 people attended we had cake to serve 300 ( a wedding cake, grooms cake and extra sheet cake) - GONE!! The cakes are just phenominal -perfectly moist, incredibly decorated and worth every cent you pay...People are still talking about the cake at my daughters wedding in 2008!! Wish I could keep her just my secret but it's too good not to pass along!! So many flavors so little time!!
Our cake was exactly what we wanted! It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted equally so. We chose alternating layers of Italian Cream Cheese and Almond (No, it doesn't not have b...
its of almonds) Trust me. It's better than regular vanilla cake! It was very moist and delicious! We have the top layer of the cake in our freezer, and we can't wait to open it up on our anniversary and savor the taste of our wedding day once again!!
Betty did a fantastic job on our wedding cakes! They were beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures we showed her! They were the most delicious cakes I've ever ate and she was...
very professional and prepared when we met with her for the first time by having an entire cake baked with all different favors for us to sample! I would recommend Betty to everyone!
Betty Weber is known as "The Cake Lady" in the South for a reason! She is amazing! We had one sit-down consultation with her and a few phone calls and emails to clarify. She made o...
ur grooms cake and our amazing wedding cake. I had a very specific image in my head and the finished product looked like Betty had read my mind. It was exactly what I had pictured and exactly what I wanted.
I should also mention that her cakes are DELICIOUS. At the end of our consultation she gave us a huge sampler to take home and choose flavors and we had finished them before we even got home! She can also do any flavor filling you can think of to make the cake exactly what you wanted. We overheard many of our guests comment that it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had :)
I definitely recommend working with Betty Weber. Her reputation preceeds her and all the vendors in the area love working with her and she with them. The price was under $750 for BOTH cakes including set up and delivery fees (which we paid twice since we served our grooms cake at the rehearsal dinner). Great value!
Betty Weber provided the most delicious cakes. She was very easy to meet with and very accommodating to our needs and wants. She did the wedding cake and the groom’s cake and every...
one is raving on how great the cakes were. Her prices were very reasonable as well. As a bride I would recommend her to anyone.
All I can say about Betty Weber is AMAZING!!! Her cakes taste phenomenal and look even better! I was more than thrilled with the wedding and grooms cakes! She made a toolbox cake f...
or the groom and several people mistook it for a real toolbox! My only complaint is that it is sometime a little difficult to get in touch with her. Other than that she was amazing!
I can't say enough about how yummy Betty's cakes are! You can go to her house and meet with her and then she sends you home with a cake box full of delicious cake! It was impossibl...
e to choose! We went with our largest layer being Italian wedding, 2nd layer was almond and the top layer was lemon to save for our 1yr anniversary...which didn't happen! We ate it a week later and it was still moist and Delish!! Considering we were on a budget...the cake was more than we wanted to spend BUT we had tried 2 other vendors and they couldn't touch what she gave us in taste...so it was worth every penny!! Guests were happy with the cake as well!
Amazing, beautiful and delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend!
Betty Weber's cakes look great and taste phenomenal! We had so many compliments!
Words can not express how amazing our grooms cake was! We chose Betty to make us a recreation of our beloved Orange VW 1972 bus. Upon walking into the reception hall my husband s...
tarts poking me like a little kid and pointing with excitement at the results. The looks at taste were extraordinary! She made his night!
Betty makes the most beautiful and delicious cakes I have ever had. She's also super creative, making a golf bag groom cake that looked amazing. The taste test was super fun too......
she gives you HUGE slices of each of her 6 different types of cake to try. That may have been the best part! She is well worth the cost. The only downside was she was very difficult to get in touch with. We had a hard time getting her to return phone calls and emails. The only reason I knew she was doing our cake was because our deposit had been cashed. Try to use your wedding planner or caterer to contact her. That's what we did and we got a response a lot faster that way.
Betty Weber made my wedding cake and my husband's grooms cake, and they were both the talk of the night!!! My husband got a Steelers Cake in the Chocolate Chocolate Chip flavor and...
it was heavenly! Our wedding cake was three tiers, and each having a different flavor, italian cream, lemon, and butter, and covered in white buttercream icing, black ribbons of icing, and purple butterflies made of fondant, it was STUNNING! Betty Weber is so sweet, and extremely professional, and she definitely exceeded all expectations! Thanks for making our special day even more special...and delicious!! :)
I'm a little torn over this review. I have seen and tasted many of Betty's cakes- and all of them have looked as wonderful as they tasted. So I was a little disappointed with the l...
ook of our cakes...especially the grooms cake. I think my dad could have decorated it better...it looked very cheap and not well put together. Usually her cakes look fantastic, very classy and elaborate. Not ours. Even the wedding cake looked a bit childish...not simple and classic the way I wanted it.
I was a bit frazzled at this point with decisions so perhaps I wasn't as clear as I thought and was hoping she would work her magic.
The cake itself was to die for. Seriously the best cake I've ever had. and we knew that from the start. Although...of all the different cake types the main layer of our wedding cake was not the right flavor- but she doesn't make a bad flavor, so that was a minor detail.
Its just a shame to pay so much and not have an outstanding looking cake...along with such a great tasting one. I feel torn.
Betty does good work and has tons of experience. She was very familiar with my venue, so she definitely didn't need to be hand held when it came to coordinating delivery times. How...
ever, she was EXTREMELY difficult to work with. She was almost impossible to get in touch with. If I had a question, I had to e-mail her 4 times and call 5 times before I got a response. She has tons of experience behind her, but I think she forgets that for most brides, this is their first time in a wedding. Brides have questions and will need questions answered faster than the month it takes for her to get back to you. Coordinating the delivery time was extremely difficult because I couldn't tell my florist when to bring the cake flowers until I heard when Betty was delivering. She literally waited until the last minute to tell me. Her work is good, but other shops in town are just as good and provide better service.
This was one decision I never thought twice about. I knew Betty would do my wedding cakes from before I got engaged. Her cakes are amazing and taste fabulous!!! If you want the bes...
t, then you want Betty!
Betty Weber is a cake angel! I don't even like cake...and she made me LVE her cake! I don't have a clue how she does it, but every flavor is amazing!!! We requested strange mix of ...
flavors, and she had no trouble making exactly our dream cake. The price is unbelievably small for such high qualiy cake. additionally, due to crazy circumstances, she let us pick it up at 10pm, so shes just very flexible and understanding.
Betty Weber did our wedding cake and groom's cake, and we LOVED it! Betty is so talented. She can hear your ideas, and then use her creativity to make your vision even better than ...
you imagined. The cakes are beautiful, and taste amazing!!! I highly recommend her!
Ms. Weber squeezed me in to an already packed day full of weddings. Regardless of the large amount of weddings that she had booked on my wedding day, she went above and beyond on o...
ur wedding cakes. The wedding cake was amazing!! The details on the outside of the cake were stunning and perfect and it tasted out of this world. The cake was quite moist and our guests loved it!! And the groom's cake was even greater than I could have ever imagined. The work and details that she put into that cake were amazing. These cakes were so worth the price!! I recommend her to every bride planning a wedding in the Pensacola area!
Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Betty is very easy to work with. Betty gave experienced opinions but was also willing to do whatever I wanted. The cakes wer...
e beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The best part is that they TASTED AMAZING. Many guests said that it was the best cake they have had in their life, especially the chocolate la creme groom cake. Reasonably priced.
Choose Betty for anything! We have had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they've ever had! And in my opinion, they're right! We chose lemon with raspberry filling...
for the wedding cake and chocolate on chocolate for the grooms cake. She's affordable, SO SWEET, and really has fun with what you want. We chose a "ball and chain" groomscake which was literally a ball and chain laying on a sheet cake. It was a hit and it was so delicious! I plan on using her for any event and have already referred people to her!
Betty did a terrific job on our cake! There was a festival on Pensacola Beach the same day as our wedding, and Betty made sure that the cake arrived on time. It was beautiful and ...
tasted delicious!
Betty created two cakes for us: a wedding cake and a groom's cake. The wedding cake was beautiful -- simple, but well done just like I wanted. The groom's cake was a recreation of ...
the FSU football stadium and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it and commented on how amazing it was. We didn't want to eat it!
Awesome - people are still talking about it!
