Creative DJS & Photobooth

If I could give a negative star I would! My Fiancé and I booked our wedding venue and venders a year before our big day. Everything was paid for and ready to go. Then the unthinkable happened, four months before our wedding my fiancé past away in a tragic accident. I spoke with all my venders the week after his passing. All venders expect for one (Creative DJ & Photobooth) responded and showed great compassion and understanding. Our wedding venue, photographer, and florist gave a full refund of the money with no questions asked and in a timely manner. However, Creative DJ & Photo booth never responded to my email and Facebooked a family friend in regards to the refund, which wasn’t very professional. If the bride emails you wouldn’t you think out of respect the business would email back, but not Creative DJ & Photo booth. After hearing from my family friend they will try to refund, but not a guarantee. I emailed again, but no response. A few days later I then called Creative DJ & Photo booth and spoke with Chris who said that he thought he responded, but he forgot to hit send. He still didn’t guarantee the refund and said that I will need to wait until after my wedding date. After waiting and no response of a decision to refund, I emailed a few days after our wedding date and he agreed to fully refund the money, but it will take 9-14 days to process. While looking in my fiancés account daily there was no refund. I emailed back and he advised me it was still processing through Squares. After researching, Squares policies, Squares doesn’t not refund and it’s the owner’s responsibility to refund. After advising Chris via email I received no response and continue to wait for a response. He has caused great stress in my life and constantly reminds me of the wedding I will never have with the man I love dearly. Overall, after dealing with Creative DJ & Photobooth they have truly demonstrated lack of empathy unless it benefits themselves or their business. The lack of communication in responding via phone or email, and the many excuses for not responding to voice messages or emails. Their behavior truly show the type of business they run and the people they are. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone and I hope no one will have to deal with the pain and suffering that I have put through.
